"I miss you baby. You should consider me please." Kieran pleaded on the phone with Umbrie.
Umbrie is staying at the hospital to keep watch on Daphne. But it feels like she's so far away from him. He already craves for her badly, he is going crazy over her. Though the same could be said for Umbrie, she still felt the need to stay with her friend at this time.
"Don't make me talk too much, sweetie. My friend is asleep. Can't you see she needs someone to stay with her? Besides her stepmother went somewhere and Jared is busy, I offered to stay with her already." Umbrie scolded him.
He shrugged, though she could not see him. "I tried. I knew you wouldn't change your mind unless you see me lying down on the hospital bed."
This statement got Umbrie a bit worried about him. "Don't you dare do anything stupid! Remember we can't stay in the human hospital like that. We would be found out!"
He laughed, "You're so cute. I can imagine your face right now. Come on, I won't do anything to get you worried. I promise. I know you love me."
"Huh? You wish." She scoffed, refusing to admit it.
"You know you do." He continued to tease her.
"By the way, you know how she got healed suddenly?" Umbrie asked changing the subject.
He nodded, "Sure. I knew it when your friend kept saying she was okay. She must have gotten a visit from Sky."
"Wow... I didn't think you'd be so smart. You are not so stupid after all." Umbrie teased.
He frowned, "Are you saying I am stupid?"
"Well... If you didn't act like one, I would not say that to you." She teased more.
"Are you sure you want to keep saying that to me? You won't regret this later?" His voice turned husky and very deep.
Umbrie gulped, she suddenly realized what can happen when she makes him mad. The thought of what he would do to her when he gets her is making her sweat so hard.
"I didn't say anything. I have to go now... My friend is awake. Bye." She quickly hung up before she says anything that will get him more angry.
She turned to see Daphne awake for real. She was smiling at Umbrie, making Umbrie question her sanity.
"Why are you smiling like that. Are you okay?" Umbrie asked sitting back down.
"You, your brother and your boyfriend are a work of art. You all are so funny." Daphne said laughing.
"My brother is annoying. Seriously, how did you manage to date that guy without running away? He is so mean and cold, I would never want a boyfriend like that." Umbrie whined.
"Your brother is actually the opposite of mean. He has been nothing but sweet to me since we started going out. He is the opposite of what you said he is. He loves me..."
Umbrie jumped, "What? When? How? Did he tell you that?"
Daphne laughed at Umbrie's drama, "You sound so shocked. Don't be so surprised Umbrie, your brother's a gentleman."
"I guess he hates me then. The feeling is mutual though. Are you hungry? Do you want me to get you something to eat?"
Daphne shook her head, "I already ate a few hours ago. I am not hungry yet. I just want to leave here already, I feel fine. I don't want to stay here anymore."
Umbrie smirked, "Are you saying this because you miss my brother... Huh?"
"You are now so dirty minded Umbrie... Come on, stop that already." Daphne laughed again. Umbrie was doing everything to make her happy and smile so she would forget what she went through. Umbrie suddenly thought about Daphne's stepmother, she wondered where the woman was rushing to.
"I wonder what your stepmother is doing now. She said she had to be somewhere important."

AT THE POLICE STATION
Tiana and her gang are still in the cell. They finally called their parents after contemplating for hours. Seeing that no one is willing to help them, they decided to help themselves get out of there. They stayed in the cell waiting for their parents to arrive. When they heard noises outside, they were convinced that their parents came.
"Where is my daughter?" Tiana's mother yelled.
"Why would you detain those kids and not let them call anyone for a few hours? How could you deprive them of their rights?!"
"You should calm down and listen to us. We didn't stop them from making any phone calls. They just decided not to for their own reasons and not our faults." An officer told them.
Tiana and her friends were taken out of the cell to see their parents. They all had their head down while they went towards their parents.
"What exactly did they do wrong?" Asked Alice's father.
"Your children commited a huge crime. They almost beat someone to death. That is why they are here." The officer explained to them.
They looked at their kids in shock hearing the horrible things they did. It was unbelievable because they all are very disciplined.
"I can't believe this. You actually became bullies? Enough to beat someone up because of what?" Tiana's mother who is the only one out of shock asked.
It was very heated as the parents have to wait until Mrs Vincent comes before they can do anything. They even had to take Mrs Vincent's address when they saw that she wasn't going to come yet. So they all met up with her and pleaded with her.
Turns out that Mrs Vincent is very familiar with Alice's parents. She didn't just want to let go, but decided to drop the charges after making a call to Daphne who gave her the permission to.
It was very tiring and stressful for the parents but they came to an agreement with Mrs Vincent and the police. Of course, they would not be let go like that. They were given community service for three months by the police courtesy of their parents. Their parents also promised to punish them when they got home.
Tiana and her parents drove home. It was an intense long ride even though the house isn't that far. Tiana almost got a heart attack in the car. She had different thoughts on escaping from the car and never showing her face to them again.
Her parents silence made it worse. It was as if they are going to kill her when she gets home. The car finally came to a stop.
"Just get down and go into your room. I don't have time for you now. We are going to talk when I do." Her father ordered her.
"Please dad, I am sorry for..."
"I think I made myself clear just now. I will not repeat myself again. Get out now!" Her father yelled at her.
She quickly got down from the car in haste thinking about what would happen when her father comes for this talk. Knowing she's already roasted for life, she walked inside the house and went straight to her bedroom.
She quietly sat down reflecting on her life. She wanted Jared so bad because she thinks he is the only man who can treat her like a queen. Jared may seem cold but he is good enough to her. They did make an agreement before when Tiana found out he isn't human by mistake. She promised to let him go when he finally finds his mate.
As they got deeper into the relationship, she kept wishing he would not find his mate. She wants to be with him forever but fate has other plans. Now she lost her chance of even friendship with him because of her evil deeds. She is starting to realize just how wrong she is, and the feeling of regret creeps in.
A few hours later of waiting in her room, she heard her father call her downstairs. She took a deep breath before going down to see her father. At this point, her mother can only watch her father scold her or she would be blamed for everything.
"We just went to the hospital to check on the poor girl and pay her hospital bills. The doctor showed us how badly she was beaten. Her whole body in stitches because of what you did. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" Her father scolded.
"I'm sorry dad." Tiana apologized hanging her head low.
He scoffed, "Sorry won't just cut it. You have to pay for this. You are grounded for three months too. You can only go to school, community service and come back home. You should also apologize to the girl you hurt. Your phone, laptop and other electrical appliances will be taken till further notice."
Tiana's eyes widened, she looked at her mother for help but got none. Her mother agrees with her dad this time.
"I'm sorry." She apologized again.
"Go to your room now. I don't want to see you yet."
Tiana quietly left for her room to cry her heart out. It felt like she lost everything.
