The MC gets a system(Ultimate Pirate King system or whatever you want to call it) that can bind a small boat. Once the boat is bound to the system, he can upgrade parts of it such as; size, durability etc. using experience, alternatively you could switch experience to gold. Once all the parts of the boat are upgraded to the maximum, he can upgrade the whole ship to another tier. But to do so he has to complete a system mission, such as rob another small boat(you can give different boats tiers, such as a small boat is a tier 1 boat, I don’t know how different ship sizes are named, such as galleon, frigate etc.). If it’s based in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, then you can also make a system store where he can buy supernatural powers, be it for himself, his crew, or the ship itself since there are many fantasy elements in the movies. If it’s a Wuxia world then you could include a system shop that sells martial arts books and etc. where the MC can upgrade his martial arts using experience or gold. Of course don’t make it a cultivation story where you can destroy planets with a single punch, otherwise it would be pointless….unless you introduce galactic stage pirates who rob cargo ships in space, then sure do whatever. As he advances he can bind more ships to his main ship, and create a fleet of pirate ships. There’s a lot more things that can be added on but I can’t think of anything right now, if anyone has anything to add on or better suggestions, feel free to comment below. Once again this is just some random idea I came up on the spot, like a eureka moment lol. Don’t take it seriously. Evolution: start as a raft Your concept is basically this except the mc is the boat and gets a crew and eventually a bodyDefenitly not a good story but if your really wanting a ship novel with upgrade system this is what we gotWe need so much more naval ships or spaceship upgrade systems or just adventures with buying new ships etc. It's ridiculous Yh I was thinking more towards like Assassins creed 4, but I’m a huge fan of pirate ships, for some reason I just think they look really cool and epic. So a pirate ship upgrading system novel would really appeal to me, while others may think it’s trash. I guess it’s a really niche idea. Upgrade to space pirates and have space ships It looks interesting but misunderstanding tag stopped me.It's what I hate the most when reading romance novels.If anyone read this drop a review. Aren't misunderstanding present in a lot of romance novels?
