"So you are not planning to do anything to does irritating girls?" Alesscia asked after we settled to eat chips and I noticed that she did eat a lot.
"I haven't really given that much thought but I am really too lazy for revenge right now. Although I have a few ideas."
"Let me hear them," she said opening her fourth pack of chips. I stared at her and the chips. I was definitely thinking like Genevieve right now but seriously, she just ate three packs of chips in one go!
"You are still eating?"
"It's my breakfast," she said with a shrug. "And also my last food for the day so I should make the most of it."
"No wonder you aren't full!" I said thinking I might just throw up if I ate one more pack of snacks.
"Back to what we were saying, what are your ideas?"
"Did I ever mention that I love this house's decor?"
"Stop avoiding the question. You know you are annoying me right now."
I took a breath before suddenly noticing that the crying sounds had stopped. I glanced towards where the girl's were supposed to be and they were missing!
"Where are your cousins?" I asked and she gave me a look. "No seriously, I am not trying to escape any questions now, I actually want to know where they are because they aren't here right now."
"They are probably somewhere in the house. Maybe they got lost or something," she said dismissively.
"And somehow that doesn't bother you?" I asked her and she thought for a while before picking up her phone and dialing a number.
"Ashley where are you and why is Alexis still crying? Both of you come down right now!" Alesscia paused for a while before angrily ending the call.
"Could you excuse me for a minute?" She said as she left me alone in the massive living room. After sometime she returned with the two girls. Alexis was now holding the tablet and Ashley was crying. I got an idea.
"Why don't I give Ashley my phone so she could play the game on it? Then she could choose whatever character she wants," I suggested.
"What a splendid idea! Why didn't I think of that?" Alesscia asked and I found it hard to figure out if she was being sarcastic again. I motioned to Ashley to come and take my phone. She took it and stopped crying, a huge smile appearing on her face as she returned to the couch Alexis was sitting on.
'It was that easy to shut them up?' I thought as Alesscia returned to her seat. It wasn't up to a minute after I gave Ashley my phone that I heard Alexis crying.
"What is it now?" I groaned in frustration turning to look at her.
"I want to play with a phone!" She said still crying. I turned to Alesscia who bore the most bored expression I had seen in my life.
"Have they always been like this?" I asked her.
"I remember telling you to ignore them from the beginning but you didn't listen," she said with a shrug.
"How about if I give Alexis the phone and Ashley the tablet..."
"You know you'll get the same outcome," she said. I decided to take my phone back from Ashley but when I turned around, the two girls were struggling for the phone. Before I knew what was happening, the phone crashed to the ground. I stared in shock at my phone as the two girls started crying.
I looked at Alesscia who only shrugged.
"I am definitely not paying for that," she said causing me to glare at her.

Eventually I made it back home. My phone didn't actually spoil as I had initially assumed. It didn't even have a scratch which I found really funny because I assumed the back would have shattered.
I came out of the car and clicked the lock on the remote. I mildly inspected the car deciding whether or not it was safe to go in. Deciding that it wasn't exactly a big deal even if the car had a few dents, I entered the house.
Immediately I stepped into the sitting room, I found every member of my small family including Stephanie present there. Some show was playing on the television while each of them was busy on a device ultimately ignoring the television.
I dropped the car key taking this as a chance to go to my room before anyone noticed me but before I made a move, Kylie suddenly announced.
"Sis you made it back safely!"
At that moment, mother and Stephanie both turned to look at me.
"Welcome," Stephanie said with a loop sided grin not looking up from her nook while my mother just stared at me.
"Thanks. I'll be in my room," I said attempting to leave.
"Hold on!" My mother finally spoke.
"Yes mom?" I said with a pleasant smile.
"Can you have a seat? You aren't busy right now, are you?"
"No, not at all," I said sitting opposite her.
"Stephanie told me that you went to see a friend from school and you drove yourself," she stated but I still went on to give a reply.
"Yes."
"And that friend was so important that you couldn't wait for a driver?"
"Not really. I just..."
"No need to explain. I am actually glad you decided to drive yourself. What I actually wanted to talk about was something different. Do you still want to go back to your school when the suspension is over?" She asked.
"Of course," I said.
"Okay. I was just thinking that maybe you could follow us back to California since you would obviously be staying there for college and I did..."
"Woah! Who decided that? I never said I wanted to go attend university in California," I said interrupting her.
"Oh! Where do you want to study then?" She asked and I thought about it. I really had no future career in mind. I was basically blank when it came to my future. I would go for psychology if it wasn't arts in my country and I was basically doing science.
Maybe medical psychology?
"I'll decide when I care," I said attempting to leave.
"I beg to differ?"
"I meant, when I reach that bridge, I'll cross it. I don't see the aim of crossing a bridge which isn't even there yet. I still need to think a bit. It's still my future after all," I said and she only nodded.

What exactly did I want to do with my life? I was pretty sure a lot of people would think the decision was coming too late but then I never really had my heart fixed on anything. I was open to any and everything. So far I put in my best into something I was sure to succeed, no matter what it was. But I also needed to love it.
'What talents did I have?' I thought. Talent? Really?
A splash got me out of my thoughts. I turned around reflexively trying to dodge it. Then I turned back to glare at Kylie who was swimming towards me.
"What's your problem?" I asked her.
"Nothing. I just felt like playing," she said splashing me once more.
"Try that one more time and I swear I'll drown you," I said. She scoffed before swimming to the stairs and getting out.
"You are a killjoy you know," she said getting her towel as she left. I lay on my back just floating around and not really attempting to put in much effort in the imperfect back strokes I was doing.
I stopped after circling for a while. Just then the glass door separating the swimming pool from a part of the house's compound swung open revealing Stephanie.
"You want to join me?" I asked intentionally to tease her since I knew she was afraid of water.
"Maybe some other time.... A friend is here to see you. You okay with the person coming here?" She asked and I wondered if she couldn't see that I was in a two piece swimsuit or if the water was somehow preventing her from doing so.
But then which friend would want to see me. Alesscia? Did she actually bunk school again?
"Hold..."
"I think you are good, it shouldn't be much of a big deal," she said and left before I could finish what I was saying. I decided to forget about it and continue circling the water when I saw the last person I had expected walking through the glass door. I ducked into the water in hopes that he wouldn't see me.
