Sara and Emeka, the couple got home on the night that they had spoken with Ken and they sank on their seats.
"I think Rose is getting used to Ken" said Emeka.
"Their love is strong and I am happy for them?" said Sarah.
"Yeah, just like when we met and we had to be together for the first year. You see you were so close to me and all I wanted to do was to ensure that you become exactly what I wanted. You were so great in your love and I was so great in taking care of your beautiful face. If I had been told before now that there was something I needed more than you I would have said no. So here are they, so much in love with one another and they re also planning to do the best for themselves. I so much have regard for them and I know that if Ken continue with her he will get to a point where he will not need to see anything that is outside the main thing. We are not going to allow anybody to focus on them. They are going to make a nice couple just the same way or even more than we have already"
That night both couple sat down to eat in the dinning and Emeka kept staring at his wife.
"Why are you staring at me the way that you are doing?" asked Sarah with a smile in her lips.
"Who else am I supposed to look at if not you. When I look at you I see nothing but good things, I perceive nothing but good things and that is why my heart is always focused in ensuring that things worked out for you"
"What do you think my husband?" asked Sarah.
"What do you mean by what I think?" asked Emeka.
"I mean concerning the boss. Do you think Ken is right about sending someone to go look for him or stand against those who stand against him?"
"I don't know but in all said and done it is true that boss needs help and it is okay if we send help his way. Yes, he needs help even if he finds it hard or impossible to admit that he needs it. We just need to focus our minds in ensuring that the connect brings in the drugs and then we can submit it to the next connect from Lau"

Ken and Rose had a drink and after they were done Ken stood and went to the bed, picked a packet and threw it to Rose. Rose opened it and saw it was a golden wristwatch.
"Wow, this is beautiful and...quite expensive" she said.
"Yeah, it is. It is not for you though" he said as he retook his seat.
"Not for me, then for who?" asked Rose.
"It is for Abel, my boy" when he said this Rose was so much elated and she was moved to years. She stood up and went and gave him a hug.
"I am so much happy for what you did for me and what you are doing for my son. It gives me so much just thinking about you and the help you have always rendered to me. What am I ever going to use to repay you for your good deeds?" asked Rose. Ken stood up and held her hands.
"If you are to pay me for what you think I have been doing for you what do you think will be enough for someone like me?" he asked and she smiled.
"Don't tempt me" she said and kept smiling.
"I don't need anything from you sweetheart, but your love and your love will keep me alive in this wicked world. You see, if I had not found you there were things, other things which I did not know before now. Since I met you there was something about me that surprises even me. You came into my life and totally changed my life. If I had not been told before now maybe I would not have gotten myself in such a mess. Having you here have always given me an edge over others. Having you have actually sped up my knowledge and increased me in wisdom. It gives me life just thinking about you" he said and she laughed.
"I am not the giver of life but God" she said and he smiled.
"Yeah I know" he said.
"Aren't you surprised?" she asked.
"Yeah I am, you talking about God, it seems you know much about God" be teased.
"Well, my parents were devout Christians and they were almost desiring to be like Christ Himself" said Rose.
"Well, let's assume there is someone like that existing" said Ken.
"I know I have done alot of bad things and I am not ready to stop doing them but to believe if Jesus is real wow I know He is" She walked to the fridge and brought out a cold drink. "I want something cold down my throat" she said.
"Go ahead then" be said but kept staring at her.

The Chief of the village where Charles had found himself in to had begun to think that Charles must be right about him being King but his advisers had continuously insisted that he asked and found out from Charles which kingdom he stands as it's King. When he however asked Charles made a sound and fired another shot in the air before turning to the Chief. "You are doubting me because you have not known the one standing before you. I have so much pity for you, you that have decided to condemn these ones to their graves. Well, I do not care about the lady with these two" he said while pointing towards Jude and Shanty. "But you see, these two are mine to kill and not yours. Which means you are going to release them to me, for them to answer for their crimes against me" he said and he meant his words.
"Who are you if I may ask again, to come into my land and demand that I give you those that are already condemned to die but who am I to ask you who you are knowing fully well that since these two could connive with my wife to do the terrible things they did in this land these is nothing other thing they won't b able to do. Having said this I am hereby telling you to take them and do whatever you wish to do with them. As for my wife, the last of my wives she needs to die in our hands, in my very hands" when he said this Charles turned to Jude and Shanty and said to them, "Is it not a thing of miracle that after you both thought you could escape from me you could not and here you are in my mercy. Tell me, what am I to do to the both of you?" When he asked this the two remained calm and not saying anything to each other. Charles then turned to the Chief and said, "You have done great, you have proven you are a many of law. I have come from my own kingdom to lay accusations on these strangers in your land who are actually from my own land, having committed a terrible crime in my own kingdom. This clearly means that you are a man of honor" He then took hold of the both of them; Shanty and Jude and dragged them away. In the full glare of the people of that village he took them away and headed to the place he had already seen to be the exact place things were working. He walked passed them as they watched him.
"Which King walks the way he walks, alone and far from home?" asked one of the villagers.
"Well, I under you when you say alone and far from his kingdom but you see he has something that protects him and I think our Chief even with all his men won't be able to destroy him if they were to fight" said another village.
The Chief was speechless and he needed time to reflect on what just happened. At least he had found something to lean on as he said to his people, "Have you all seen it; there is a man who had committed a crime in his kingdom only to run to this place to display his madness once again. People, go to your homes and rejoice that this evil that would have befallen us has been taken away from us" The Chief dismissed them but before then he had turned to his wife and said, "Since you will alone will be dying in my hands it is just necessary that I give you another day and then you will be killed" turning to the guards he said to them, "Take her inside and lock her up in her cell" the guards took hold of her and dragged her away at once. Immediately they left the Chief turned to his other wives and saw they were all staring at him as if he had done something evil which ofcourse he did. He avoided their glaring and walked away. When he was gone the women began to discuss amongst themselves. The first wife whom the rest called Mama spoke in whispers, "Our husband has gone mad and so if his madness has led him to killing us we need to act now that there is still time else we will be eliminated one day before the people we call our subjects" When she had said this the second wife nodded and added, "You are right in what you have said and I can only imagine what it means to have someone to look up to. We are looking up to you our Mama and we knew you before we even got married to our Chief. We know that you have what it takes to shape this Kingdom and so we follow your footsteps. We became your cowives, we that are supposed to be your children but you did not bother about our arrogance instead you kept your love for us and treated us like your own sisters. We are so much appreciative of your kindness and so we will always stand up for you and stand by your side as well" The rest nodded in agreement to what the second wife had said. Another one spoke, the one that was the most beautiful.
"I trust that our Mama here is going to lead us the right way and so we are going to ensure that nothing hinders us from receiving exactly what is ours. If the Chief, if our husband has decided to kill the youngest amongst us then we need to stand up for ourselves else we will all die in his hands" when he had said this the ugliest amongst them who appeared scared spoke.
"I'm scared. It is not as if we have not heard and it is not as if we have not seen how people died in the hands of our Chief..Our Chief have killed many people in the past and it is only wise of us if we take things easy if not we will be against the law of this land. I mean remember how the youngest of us knelt and appreciated the Chief when her sentence came. She did not fight but she stretched forth her hands and welcomed her fate. Why are we going to fight what is coming to us? We should stand our ground and insist that nothing ever takes us away from the major thing that works for us. We are not going to die carelessly simply because we are trying to be more careful" When she had said this the rest were not sure if she was sick or okay.
"Just shut up" the eldest said to her.
