Inside the well where Jude and Shanty were waiting they were pacing worriedly because Jude still believe that it could never be possible for Charles to defeat a beast in form of a man called Goro.
"I think we should not give up on our faith yet. There is still possiblity he will defeat the beast in form of a man" said Shanty and Jude shrugged.

In the city, Rose had just finished taking her shower and stepping out to take her cloth she was shocked to see a man seated on the bed right inside her room. She was alarmed and when she tried to reach for her pistol which she had hid inside her traveling bag the man stood up and showed her the thing she was heading to her bag to look for.
"Are you looking for this if I may ask?" He asked while presenting the pistol for her to see. When she looked and saw that he already got possession of the gun she was shocked and did not know what else to do. It also occurred to her that if he could take her gun he was not there for good and that he must have known who she was before now. She stood there transfixed, wondering what else to do in order to escape from this stranger that had come to either take her life or do something worse to her.
"Who are you and what do you want from me?" It was Rose asking.
"You don't need to be scared, afterall you already knew before now that a day like this normally comes in the life of someone living your kind of life. It baffles me how people of your kind get shocked when they get to meet the same thing they are dishing out to others"
"I don't think you understand what it means and I don't also believe there is something that has happened which has not already happened but since you know me very well I would like to know who you are and what offence I just have committed to warrant your entering my house and right inside my room in the manner that you just did. Explain to me who you are" said Rose and the man asked her to sit down at once.
"Can I dress up?" she asked. He stared at her for a while and nodded. She wondered if he was going to keep looking at her while she changed her dress. "Are you going to keep staring at me the way that you are doing while I changed my dress?"
"What did you expect? That I look away from you?" the man asked and Rose knew he was not going to look away even if she begged him to. She turned, giving him her back and then she changed infront of him. When she returned back to stare at him she saw he was not looking at her afterall. When he looked up and saw she was done he stood up and began to walk up to her where she stood.
"Who are you and what are you doing in her?" she was asking again.
"You who killed my brother and then you think you can get away with it?" he said and Rose wondered who was his brother that he was accusing her of having killed.
"Who is your brother?" she was forced to ask.
"You do not know who he is? look at me properly, just stare at my face for a while and after you are done let me know if you remember who I am or whom I resemble" he said and stopped, waiting for her to say something. She stared at him for a while and then there was this sound that left her lips as she held her face; that was Kevin's older brother, the uncle to Abel. She did not know what to say.
"You killed him because you needed to be part of a deadly group, you killed my only brother Kelvin because you believed if you did there would be no one to speak for him or stand up for him. Your killing him made you richer and more powerful but look at yourself right now, who is pathetic now and at the mercy of the other person?" He wasn't expecting her to have an answer to give him and so he added, "I have come to take your life just same way you took his" He then pointed the gun at her.
"Really? You believe that I took the life of Kelvin? You really think I killed him because of what he had but you were not aware that everything he ever had was as a result of my help to him. You do not know that despite the fact that I already given myself enough understanding there is nothing that could be done about anything. I did not kill him, I did not and even though I felt he deserved to die I did not lay my hands on him or devised any means to kill him. He was the one however who tried to kill me several times because he could not stand the fact that I was peaceful and he wasn't. If you are peaceful and you meet with someone who is not peaceful and if they sense that your peacefulness is frustrating their wickedness they will always try to bring you to their own experience. I did not wish him death but he faced death because I loved him and I showed that love in the wrong way and at the wrong time and infront of the wrong people. You coming here to kill me will not bring Kelvin back, it will not and there is no need trying to make things to work whereas I know they would not. I don't have anything against you and even if you are going to kill me now I am welcoming it but then you must know that your brother, your younger brother had a son and it would be better you called him and held him as yours. The young boy doesn't deserve to be homeless and both fatherless and motherless" When she was done she sat down and added, "I am waiting" Kelvin's brother continued to stare at her and for a while he lowered the gun and also sat down.
"You don't know what you caused us his, his family when we heard the news of his death. We could have allowed it to slide if it had been announced that it was a natural death but you see his death came as a shock and my mother, our mother became ill because of it and she vowed that I was either going to avenge the death of her son Kelvin or she would be joining her ancestors infront of me. You see Rose, Kelvin was the breadwinner of the family and even though he was my younger brother I looked up to him and here he is dead, killed by some people because of a woman be once loved with all his heart" said the man but at this Rose stood up and walked into the wardrobe where she picked something and on returning to the seat she threw it to him and he caught it his left hand because the right one was occupied with a gun. He checked and saw it was a recording device that she has thrown to him and he switched it on. Immediately he switched it on he began to see that there were images and then came the video. He could not believe his eyes but he saw that in the video, Kelvin was beating Rose with anything he could lay his on and at that point he dropped the recording on the bed and dropped the gun on the bed as well and then came a sigh. He did not know what else to say but it already downed on him that Rose was not joking. He looked at her and saw she was shedding tears.
"I was with him for two years and you know what he told me all the while concerning his family? He always talked about how they died. He never for once talked about anything else, always said they died and he was left all alone in the one. I did not know why he could say that and always but I guess he did that to draw my pity but then for what? You say you are his older brother but he never talked about you. I don't doubt you though because there is a striking resemblance here. I'm sorry that he died, I'm sorry that your mother had to pass through all of that. I did not kill him, I did not kill Kelvin, the organization did and they did because they were protecting and when they were done doing what they saw as favour to me they then insisted that I became family with them, something I had hated to even think about but they were insistent you know and I had no other choice" She was sobbing. At this point the man stood up and put both hands inside his pocket, looked up and then looked down before he then said, "I'm sorry" She wondered why he had to say that. That was not what she had expected, as someone who was being blamed for the death of someone's brother she had expected worse than "Sorry" she kept looking at him and wondering what else was on his mind. The man headed for the door and when he reached there he stood for a while and turning to her he said again, "You need to know that our mother would also be ashamed of the son she gave birth to. He then walked out. When he was gone Rose heaved a sigh of relief and turning to pick up the recording found out it was no longer seated there on the bed near where the man had been seated.
That same day and in the evening the man entered his mother's sick room am sat on the bed. The light in the room was deem and he could see that his mother was not getting worse. He handed to her the recording and she watched it.
"How is the girl now?" she asked after she was done watching serval abusing videos of Kelvin and Rose.
"She is fine. You have a grandson mother" he said.
"Kelvin was like his father and he doesn't deserve a befiting burial. He hits a woman and not only does he hit a woman, he was beating her to kill her just same way his father was maltreating me when I newly got married to him. I don't have anything against anyone and truly it is clear that things are not working the way that they are supposed to work and I am not moved by anything or anyone. My heart is hardened now by this video and it just brings me the memory of what my husband was and that it could be possible that he came back in the flesh of his son, your younger brother. My son, you find my grandson and bring him here to meet his grandma" The man nodded and stood up, leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
