What do I even say about this one? That my life has taken a turn for the worse the moment I decided to read this? That I feel there's a gaping hole in my soul knowing that this not only exists but was thought up, painstakingly written and then read by hundreds of people?I'm not gonna comment on the writing here; it's average for the webnovel scene, at least all the characters sort-of have their own personalities and I kinda get what's going on. Details are skimp, the first chapter will give you an idea of the level of skill here. Kinda lackluster for what the writer is going for though.Honestly speaking, reviewing this would make me want to stab my little wannabe novel critic heart. Because I barely have the heart to read more than five chapters, and my rule is to at least read what's available. This is a travesty. A drama-ridden mess of toxic relationships and poor emotional handling. Jesus Christ. I could barely read all 24 chapters without instantly regretting my desire to give this a shot. I genuinely enjoy romance novels, okay? Like I adore a good romance, I'm a sucker for it. Give me a sappy sweet romance any day of the week. Doesn't even have to be sappy sweet.This was a mockery of romance - this wasn't even romance, this was just sad. Hated the girls; closet manipulators who treated him like an object without ever seeing their effect on the MC. The MC is decent, I felt awful for the guy, he's just chasing his dream and these piranhas are snipping at his heels. If you wanna read a Korean smutfest, you can do better. It's not awful, honestly; could be a lot worse. If you're into drama, might be your thing. I just feel a visceral dislike for the characters portrayed, even if there's a twinge of sympathy for their situation.
