Kaiwan frowned as he looked at the investigation board.
"Shouldn't we be heading over there, right now with a search warrant?" Josh asked.
"Why are you acting like a rookie? We don't have any solid evidence."He replied, not tearing his eyes off the board.
"We still need to capture all the vampires even without any."
"Even if they're vampires, we can't just go and hunt them down. I understand how you feel, but you have to look at things realistically. There are cases where people are forced to turn into vampires. Are you planning on killing them as criminals, too?" Kaiwan asked and he turned to look at a picture on the board.
Two vampire sisters had recently died, after completing their lifespan of five years. According to the note they'd left behind, they didn't warn to harm anyone as there's been no charge against them while they were alive.
"No, but..."Josh was saying when he interrupted.
"Our priority is to make sure this don't get out of hand. We need to stay alert especially since vampire crime rate has sky rocketed."
"Then, that means there's nothing we can do except sit back and observe until we get something to go on?"
"Do you remember... there was someone who went through fourty drivers because of abusive language and behavior, burned an employee's face by throwing coffee on him because the taste wasn't to his liking, caused an assistant some serious injuries through violence just because the handle of his bag wasn't faced in his direction?"
"Ah, aren't that the incidents caused by Johan Group's only son? We haven't heard anything about him after that, though."Josh replied as Kaiwanturned to pass him the culprit's picture.
"Yeah, that kid."
"Of course, I remember. Just looking at his face gave me goosebumps. Did that bastard cause a scene again?"
"He's very active these days... as the owner of Red Bomb Club." Kaiwan replied.
"Dude, Lucian doesn't like shit like that. He prefers twenty year olds regardless of sex." Anna, the girl in Lucian's arms that evening said to a bodyguard who served them.
Most people hated her because she liked parading herself as Lucian's girlfriend but wasn't bold to say it in his presence.
"More."Lucian ordered as he stretched out his cup.
"Yes boss." The man bowed as he bent to fill his cup. Unfortunately, he forgot himself and the blood spilled on Lucian's shirt.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?Looks like you need to get hit by Lucian."Anna said.
"You should have been more careful."Lucian said as he looked down on the stain.
"I apologise. I'll accept three hits."The man replied.
"Oh, really." A wicked smile tugged on his lips. That was music to his ears.
The man crouched down to Lucian's level and Lucian made a flick at his forehead, separating the upper body from the lower half.
"What the...I only hit him once. Fucker was all talk."
"Hurry and clean that up." Anna ordered.
"How much longer do I have to wait?I'm seriously dying with expectation right now."
He was very special ever since he was young, so he'd grown up to realize.
It was exciting to have the world revolve around him and people now to him, regardless of who they were.
It was natural that one should live according to the position they were born in.Being the only heir to Johan's Group, he was raised as a spoilt kid who got everything and anything he wanted and he used the opportunity to instill fear into people.
Most people were always afraid to serve him, because they didn't not only now how harsh his tongue was, but how terrible his punches were. He'd beaten women and men as long as they'd gotten on his bad side. And since he was the only heir to Johan's Group, no one dated to sue him as they were afraid of losing their neck the next minute.
Looking at those men who tried to crawl up from their place always made him want to step on them and rip them apart, something he loved doing.
He believed the world was more easier than an arithmetic problem since he got everything he ever wanted, before that incident happened.
He'd been involved in a serious accident that had claimed life's but he'd happened to survive. He was just crawling out of his car when he'd raised his head to lock eyes with a vampire.
Unlike most people, Lucian found himself attracted to the vampire and decided to become like him, which the vampire had been more than willing to oblige.
He'd drank his blood and fell unconscious for days and had realized there was a tremendous change in him after he'd woken up. He could see without his glasses and he felt stronger than before.
He'd later realized that there were also ranks in the vampire world and a vampire had to belong to a group, as a subordinate
He'd believed that rule didn't apply to him, he was after all a heir to a conglomerate group is in the country, so he'd decided to become the leader of every group that'd approached him and he'd achieved that by slaughtering all leaders that'd tried to recruit him. That'd been how he became an angel of death.
One of his guards walked towards him and gave a bow.
"Boss...I believe you have a guest." He said.
Lucian smashed his glass with his claws and smiled. "Really? I can't wait to meet her."
Zuriña walked up to the club that evening and from the entrance, she could hear the cheers and the clinking of glasses.
She reached for the door handle and paused.
"Barging in isn't very polite..."
"Yes sir, we're on our way to meet the guest." Her ears pricked up and she heard approaching steps from the other side of the door. Well, she'd just wait since they came to welcome her.
Her senses picked up the time one of them reached for the door and she chosed that moment to kick in the door towards the men.
"Since I came to visit someone's house, I should at least knock." She said, a murderous smile on her lips.
