ZOE’S POV
It was a pretty normal day for me but the recent changes that happened in my life did give these normal days a unique vibe to it. Zack and Caroline had made peace with each other after the breakout and the decision her took to keep us separated was actually good for us. It did help me and Mike a lot to stay away from his personal life and that too Caroline. At first, I did come to a conclusion that Zack will stop meeting us and cut all ties with us. However, he astonished me the most when he decided to balance both us and Caroline in his own way.
This way he chose did make me and Mike make some sacrifices but I must say, the sacrifices was worth it. It was nothing else other than sleeping late night. Zack had planned out to spend the high school time with Caroline, the afternoon to do his part time job and then at night, he used to spend it with me and Mike. To be honest, we were all night owls and the moments and memories we created at that time stayed in our hearts forever.
“Thinking about him?” Mike asked me.
“Why would I??” I was snapped back to reality with his question.
“Who else would you day dream about?” he teased me and I hit him for that.
“Ouch...” he laughed at me and pulled my cheek. In no time came an interruption that spoiled all our fun.
“Mike, I think Noah is cooking another mess for Zack because he is in the dean’s room” a friend of Mike came and informed him.
“What the heck?” Mike was worried and instantly took off to know the matter.
Seeing him that worried made me go anxious. But what could I do whatever the matter was?? Hence, I returned back to my classes and waited for the school to finish to know what the issue was. How would I have any sorts of clue that this issue was going to lead to the worst scenario of mine, Zack and Caroline’s life???
{outside the gym}
Caroline was happy to know that Zack was good and was about to return back to her classes when she was stopped by Noah.
“Hello mommy” he smirked at her.
“Hey Noah” Caroline greeted him with a warm smile.
“How’s it going with Zack?” he asked her in a tone which was noticed by her.
“Not bad but why do I feel a tone here?” she asked him in a skeptical tone.
“Nothing. You know that I’m a well-wisher of you right?” he raised his brows in question and acted concerned for her.
“Noah, come to the point. Why are you beating around the bush?” Caroline asked him frowning.
“I asked you out of concern because I’m worried about your baby. I might be a bad boy but I’m not heartless to see you and your baby being cheated on like this” he put on a sentimental act.
“What the fuck do you mean Noah?” Carolien grew nervous and anxious to know what he meant.
“See, I don’t know how you might take it but it's good that I met you here. I wanted to ask you if you know that your baby dad has been sneaking out at night to spend some awesome time in the beach every day??” Noah asked her in an evil tone that built a lot of suspense to his words.
“What the fuck does that mean?? Zack would never do that and you, stop trying to manipulate my head to get your revenge from Zack. I know you pretty well” Caroline snarled at him.
“It’s true that I want to clear him out of my way but I swear this had nothing to do with that. This is a genuine concern of mine for you Caroline” Noah once again acted sentimental and easily won Caroline’s trust.
“How do you know all these? Have you seen them together in the beach?” Caroline asked him suspiciously and Noah understood that his plans worked.
“Every single day. I guess, it started from the party that weekend. Had something happened between you guys that day?” he tried his shoot and the fish hot easily hooked to it.
“That day Zack had decided to keep us away from each other to avoid any misunderstandings and mishaps. I had never seen them together other than for some moment after school. I never know that he used to sneak out at night to meet them” Caroline was furious at Zack for such a big betrayal.
“Then take care of your man before he gets out of control. I don’t think him sneaking at night like this is a good sign of a loyal boyfriend” he advised her and knew that she had fallen bait for his plan.
Caroline walked away fumingly after Zack’s little secret was blown by Noah. She was furious at Zack for cheating her with Zoe like this after he being the one to decide for them. After she left, Felix turned to Noah skeptically.
“Are you sure this will work?” Felix asked him.
“She’ll take care of the rest” Noah smirked at them with full faith in the blast Caroline was going to make!!!!
