Shattering Humanity

Earth's dominance is shattered by a meteor carrying an ice dragon and bloodthirsty aliens, forcing humanity into hiding. Three years later, survivors fight back, some gaining "magical" abilities by becoming symbiotic hosts with vanquished extraterrestrials. Two estranged friends, Katsu and Saku, are reunited on a scout team. Chosen by the last "Creator of Humanity," they become hosts for cosmic forces, using their "God-given abilities" for their own agendas. They are joined by Shelly, Katsu's adopted sister, renowned as "The Beast of the Beasts." A reincarnation of her legendary Viking sword-wielding grandmother, Shelly seeks to reclaim ancient blades stolen by a manipulative covenant of warrior witches. These seven women, each wielding unique energy, now rule this post-apocalyptic world as powerful figures in various oppressive regimes or seek destruction for its own sake. The story promises aliens, action, romance, betrayal, trust, overpowered characters, magical despots, and humans acquiring niche powers, alongside a psychopath pursuing a singular purpose. The narrative poses questions about freedom, purpose, and whether love will conquer all or become a conquering force.
