Hava had just watched the most gruesome scene in her life, the scene of seeing her father being burnt to death.
She screamed as loud as she could in horror of watching it as she rushed closer to him. There was no way she could save him because he was already dead before she could reach him.
“Father” she knelt down by his side crying, if Hava knew she was going to meet the death of her father this way then she would have requested to meet him much earlier. She wasn’t even given the chance to say goodbye as he burnt to ashes.
She had just watched the only man who had cared for her all her life be killed, Alpha Nathan was the best father to her always putting her interests first more than anyone else. He protected her from a marriage she wasn’t able to deal with by giving it off to Bella. He sent away her mate Ashton when she told him that she didn’t need him in her life. He also gave her to the man she thought she loved for marriage even though he wasn’t her mate. All that he did was for her to be happy.
Hava returned home with high expectations to meet her father again and be reunited with him, it was a beautiful feeling she kept thinking about as she and Ashton made their way back home. She wanted to be happy in his arms again and feel his warmth and comfort.
“I didn’t even get the chance to see him for the last time” she cried her heart out as they all watched her without saying a word. Ashton didn’t stop her because she needed to vent out as much as possible so he let her be.
Hava sharply turned her head towards Bella and got up,
“You, you killed my father” she said pointing fingers at her.
“And I will do it again if I had the chance” Bella blurted out, she didn’t care if he was her daughter. Alpha Nathan had hurt her countless times than she could remember and it was time for him to pay for his deeds.
“What did he ever do to you to deserve such cruel death, he was your goddamn uncle” she yelled at her.
Hava had no idea what her father had done to Bella and she wondered why she would kill him.
“My uncle, I detest people like him” Bella answered harshly making her words hurt Hava just the same way she was hurt over the death of Luther.
“What did he ever do to you?” She screamed as hard as she could as she moved closer to Bella.
Alpha Coast noticed it and he quickly reacted,
“Move one more inch I will break all the bones in your body” he strictly warned he causing her to pause. His eyes were deadly and blood was dripping from hand but it was not his blood but the blood of her own father.
They had both killed her father, she came to the conclusion.
“You really want to know what he did, he took away my family from me. He killed my parents and my little brother and just when I had the hopes of finding someone I could call my family again he killed him” she said.
Bella could still recall how her family was brutally murdered by Alpha Nathan, it still hurt her to this point to remember Olive being ripped in half and now Luther was beheaded. Those were memories that would hunt her for the rest of her life.
“That’s not true, he would never do that to his family. He loved you Bella.
You are lying to me” Hava shook her head, she didn’t want to believe that her father would do such a thing to Bella. She had considered him as a saint and even though he always put her first he would never be so cruel as to be the one who murdered her whole family.
“Family, you and I are no longer family right from the moment he killed mine in cold blood. You are lucky to still be alive because if I remember correctly you took my child away from me.
What exactly should I expect from your family, you two are both murderer” Bella made it known to Hava and it hurt like she had been stung by a bee. Her heart was beating rapidly, it was true that she caused Bella to lose her child but she didn’t look at herself that way, she didn’t realized that she had killed an innocent child and should be referred to as a murderer until Bella said it straight to her face.
“That was an accident” she defended.
“An accident that caused my child’s life, tell me what kind of motive would cause you to push me down a plight of stairs when you knew very well that I was pregnant and I could lose my child. If that isn’t considered as a murderous act what would you refer to it as?” Bella asked her.
Hava couldn’t face Bella with all that she was saying so she moved away from her, she was quiet for a while before she turned to see her father’s dead body once again and flare up.
“Is that why you killed my father?” She asked.
Bella wondered if she was stupid or just being naive, she had already told her the reason why she killed Alpha Nathan.
“I can never put the sins of the daughter on the father, your father paid for his own crimes and you Hava will also pay for yours very soon.
Instead of you wasting my time, you should be thanking us for you being able to escape the hellhole you put yourself in. If we didn’t attack the pack then you wouldn’t be here to witness your father’s death, but all the same I am glad that you are here.
Now you know what it feels like to watch your only family be killed by another” Bella said in a sharp tone making her words sink in.
“Coast can we please leave so that I can bury the body of Luther” Bella requested and only then did Hava noticed the body of a young boy a distance away from them.
“What happened to him?”
Ashton asked concerned about the child.
“He killed him” Bella said staring at Hava deep in the eyes just so that she could see what her father had done and why he deserved death.
Coast picked up Luther’s body and they walked away.
“Hava” a feminine voice called out to her and she turned to see her mother Diana running towards her.
“Mom” she ran to her and hugged her crying her arms.
“Hava, is this really you?” Diana touched her face. She was so glad to actually see her daughter after a long while. She had been worried sick thinking about the torture she was going through.
“Yes mom” she said still crying.
“Mom, this is Ashton my mate, he saved me and brought me back home” she introduced Ashton to her.
“Nice to meet you Luna” Ashton stated abd she smiled, Diana clung recognize him as the omega who she had rejected.
“Thank you so much for saving my daughter” she said.
“It’s my pleasure” he replied.
“Hava dear, have you seen your father?” Diana asked, Alpha Nathan had sent her away for five days to be with her friends and she was just returning from the trip.
“That’s father” Hava pointed at the burnt body in front of them, once Diana saw him she was horrified.
“What happened?” She asked.
“Bella and her mate killed him” Hava wasted no time in telling her what happened to Nathan.
Diana was completely silent knowing the deeds Nathan had done against Bella, it was only a matter of time before they caught up to him. Ashton watched her facial expression and realized that she knew something about it and that was why she wasn’t reacting as he had expected her to like Hava did.
