Cabello suspected that Denise was seeing someone so he laid a trap for her. He pretended to leave and hid away to see if anyone was going to visit her.
After waiting for an hour and he was about to give when he heard footsteps approaching so he waited for whoever that was.
Lucian walked towards the house and knocked on the door, Denise opened it and once she saw him she frowned.
“What are you doing here?” She asked still annoyed. She had been mad at him for weeks now just for telling her what he saw when all he wanted was for her to be safe.
“Come on, are we going to keep doing this?” He said as he watched her frowned at him.
“Are you going to keep up with what you said!” She asked him to know if he was still after the fact that Cabello was going to kill her as he kept seeing in his dreams. She was so furious that he would say such a thing about him when he knew how much Cabello loved her.
“Uhhmm” Lucian paused for a bit, he didn’t know what he was going to say to her, he couldn’t tell that he still stood by what he said because she would be mad at him for that, he twisted his lips looking for a way that she would forgive him but not sounding off like he had lied about what he said.
“Why don’t we forget that, I know you trust your uncle very well and I am sorry for accusing him of such things but I wouldn’t back down on what I said but what I can do it keep it within me and not bother you about it anymore. Is that okay for you?” He asked her to see if he was able to reason with her and cool her nerves with the words he said.
“Hmm”
“Okay I am sorry, I shouldn’t have come off that way” he finally apologized and he could see her lessen down a bit.
“Why did it take you so long to apologize” she said dragging him inside the house and locking the door. Once she closed the door, she immediately kissed him. Lucian immediately reciprocated the kiss pinning her to the wall.
“I missed you” she said as they finally let go of each other sitting on the couch.
Denise really wanted to see Lucian and she knew exactly where to find him but because of what he said about Cabello, she resisted the urge to see him and stay at home even though she knew that she missed him.
“I missed you too” he replied with a smile on his face finally having her to forgive him.
Back Outsude was a furious Cabello who had just seen Lucian enter his home, he was the last person he had expected Denise to be seeing because their pack was a long distance away. He clenched his fist in anger over knowing that it was him.
He had taken Denise out of their pack so that he would never see her again but yet he was able to find her.
He could already guess that Lucian was the wolf he saw the last time and it made him more mad that Denise would lie about it. She had never acted in such manner with him until she met Lucian, she was now able to defy his orders and lie straight to his face. The Denise he once knew would never do such a thing to him.
Cabello knew Lucian was a bad influence to Denise and he was trying to make sure that she stayed away from him by taking her away but he still found his ways back into her life. All his effirts to get them separated was in vain.
He came out of his hiding but didn’t want to go to the house because he knew Denise would cover it up and lie to him once again even after he had found out the truth. He also didn’t want to know what they were doing in the house because it would only get him more mad and ruin the plans he had been making for a while.
“Let’s get rid of him now that he is not in his pack, he doesn’t have his Alpha to protect him” His wolf said to him ready to kill off Lucian just so that he could get in their way.
“Not yet, we still have a lot of time to do that. Let’s just let them be we will kill him very soon” Cabello replied having it at the back of his mind that if he wanted Denise to be back to her self and feel regretful for being turned into a wolf against her mother’s wish, he would have to kill a Lucian. For now he was just giving them time before he initiated such plan to get Lucian out of his path.
“So you are just gonna let him be, Denise might get too attached to him” His wolf replied in concern that when he wanted to implement his plan might be too late.
“They are mates, they have been attached since the day he turned her into a wolf. I am not saying I would let him be. I just need time to make sure that everything is in place including killing him” Cabello replied and his wolf rested.
In the house, Denise presented a pie she had made to Lucian to have a taste of her new recipe.
“Is it good?” She asked anxious as he took the first bite, Lucian took a moment eating without saying anything even when he could see her legs shaking waiting for his response.
“Is it good?” She asked again eager to know if her recipe was worth it.
“It’s perfect” he said finally giving her a reply, she felt so good hearing such good compliment that she wiggled in happiness. He took a little slice and gave it to her to taste since it was her making.
“Hmm” Denise exclaimed surprised by her own work.
“You see” he said.
“I really outdid myself on this one, I thought it was going to come out perfect they is why I gave it to you ti taste first. I should open a bakery shop, don’t you think?” She suggested.
“Anything you want” he supported her.
She took another bite when Lucian kissed her taking a bite of it too from her lips. “It tastes better this way” he remarked.
Denise just stared at him in a daze, she had definitely missed being with him.
