"Ricky~" Emi was standing outside my door. I looked at the clock it was 10:00 PM.
"Stop disturbing my sleep, I need to catch up on my sleep and have to go to college tomorrow." I didn’t want to entertain her with all that supernatural stuff. The nightmare was over, and we should not be talking about it anymore. Alas, her little curious head couldn’t get over the things that happened in the Wong Zhi mountains.
I glanced at her, and she was crawling into my bed.
Sigh~
"What with this now?" I asked, though I know she must be wondering about that Wong Zhi Mountain incident. After all, it might not look much, but we had been there for literally an entire month. Our summer vacation was coming to an end tomorrow.
"Do you think Mom is okay?" She asked while taking the blanket to cover her feet.
"She should be, there was already news about how the earthquake and storm destroyed the entire city and Wong Zhi Mountain. We were already lucky enough to come out of there." I said, simply narrating the perspective the government was showing on the news. Because of this, we didn’t need to work much to convince my mother about the grandparents’ death.
Though I know she must have been blaming herself for sending us, and Emi’s dad must have been angry with her. The cracks in this so-called family were just way too obvious. Yet, the selfish and cowardly me couldn’t dare take too many responsibilities now. I was afraid that just like the Wong Zhi mountain, I would be useless in most of the cases. I need to get rewards from the system to upgrade myself faster.
"Hm," she didn’t have anything to say about it.
We lay together, staring at the roof in silence. We had already freed ourselves from the Love Strings bindings, in mutual agreement. So, there was no more mind-reading and power sharing. She still had her Light of Hope talent. It just, now she didn’t have a big mana pool to use as of her liking.
"What are we going to do now? There should be many monsters out there," she asked thoughtfully, but what does she mean by we... it would clearly be me.
"You don’t have to think about it, leave it on your handsome brother. I have my own plan for it." This was our last year in college, and we all will start to search for jobs; maybe she didn’t need to. In fact, I, too, didn’t have to look for a job; I just needed to make the right deal with the right people.
But...before that, I need to at least upgrade my grade from Ruler to Overlord. Only then will I be able to understand what the difference is between Overlord and Ruler, which makes them so horrifying. Accordingly, I also needed to upgrade my Rank, which will bring a direct boost, instead of a qualitative boost coming from the Overlord grade.

I turned to her, but she was looking at the roof, with her cheeks puffed. I couldn’t help but find her cuteness rather pleasing. She was still that cute sister of mine, despite going through all the chaos; nothing seemed to have changed. The feeling that no change had happened was the best outcome I was hoping for.
This way, we didn’t have to force ourselves to act normally, if we can carry on normally. We will spend both of our time enjoying this life. Instead of playing some secretive superhero game.
I grabbed her shoulder, pulling her closer to me. I lay my leg on hers, hugging tightly. Her body was soft, just like a teddy bear. The smell of her shampoo was also quite good.
She wasn’t enraged, falling asleep in my embrace just like she used to do on that journey. Sadly, there weren’t any more rewards for sleeping together.
Just like this, both of us fell asleep. I doubt she already knows about my Perverted System, but of course, she didn’t mention it, and I didn’t mention it. We can simply act as if we know nothing.

In the morning...
We are lying on the bed together, but now our positions have reversed. Her head was resting on my chest; she had drooled the entire night, making the t-shirt wet with her saliva. Her legs were above mine, as she slept like a dead pig.

Now, I have the max physique. From here on, I have to think of a way to get my level up. So, I can again continue upgrading stats. I didn’t know when I would get an evolution point again, and the second method I knew was way too dangerous. I had to hunt high-level monsters and then refine their cores to get a level up.
I sighed and simply put her head off my chest. After that, I went to freshen up while she continued sleeping.
She didn’t wake up till the mom was done making breakfast. While I backed my bag for college, only to remember there was some so-called assignment, which I forgot.
Well, even if I had remembered it, I still wouldn’t have done it. Now, I didn’t need the good grades to get a trashy job. I have supernatural talents now, and if I continue doing typical time waste on these college assignments, what kind will I have?
I stuffed an empty notebook and a pen, making my bag ready for college. After this, I woke her up and had the meal together before leaving the house.
When I got to the bus station, I spotted a familiar figure standing there. She was the granny Margaret’s granddaughter; her blond hair and sunglasses made her stand out amidst the crowd.
