He couldn’t help but start thinking about what he should use the money for.
If it was like this, even taking out just 100 dollars would turn into 10,000 dollars.
What about 10,000 dollars?
That would become 1 million dollars.
To think something like this could exist.
He wondered whether his money would still multiply a hundredfold if he asked for it back, but the System probably wouldn’t allow that.
At the very least, with this, he could even become a donor for a presidential election.
Liam took a deep breath to calm himself.
After thinking for a moment, he finally sent 1,000 dollars to the account listed on the paper.
That would turn into 100,000 dollars.
Liam was sure Professor Wilson would meet him tomorrow at the university.
While waiting for 10 PM, he traded forex to increase his personal wealth.
Time passed quickly when every five minutes generated so much money.
In a good mood, he left the house, slipping out without his mother noticing as she was already asleep.
He drove and stopped in front of Luna’s house, where she was already waiting.
Wearing shorts and a black leather jacket with her hair tied in a ponytail, she looked as usual as she immediately got into Liam’s car.
"You know the way, right?" Liam asked.
"Of course, just follow my directions," Luna replied.
Liam continued driving, occasionally glancing at her, who still looked relaxed.
"You know, this could get you expelled from the university," Liam said.
"Don’t worry, Alex and the others will make sure no one records it. We’ll also shut down the CCTV for a while," Luna answered.
"What if you lose?" Liam asked.
Physically, Luna seemed like she would win. Her body was more well-built, while Vivian was quite slim.
However, back in the cafeteria, their fight had been evenly matched.
That made Liam realize that Vivian wasn’t weak at all.
"You must be joking," Luna replied, not believing she would lose.
Liam didn’t say anything more.
After passing several streets, they arrived at a large entertainment complex that seemed to consist of a nightclub, karaoke rooms, and even a hotel, while the rooftop had several separate swimming pools that could be reserved for private parties.
Liam spotted several students from the Faculty of Economics. He even saw Jack, who looked surprised upon seeing Liam’s car.
Seeing him arrive with Luna, Jack quickly approached, glancing at Luna but not daring to stare too much.
"I didn’t expect you to come," he said to Liam.
"I didn’t expect you to come either. Seems like you’re curious about this show," Liam replied.
"Ehmm..." Jack coughed awkwardly.
Luna merely glanced at him coldly.
Coincidentally, Ayla passed by.
"Ayla, is Vivian already upstairs?" Luna asked, leaving Ayla no choice but to stop.
She actually looked like she wanted to avoid them.
Whether it was Vivian or Luna, both were her friends. She was closer to Vivian since they had known each other longer, but ever since university, she had also become good friends with Luna.
It was hard for her to stay calm knowing the two were about to fight.
"Yes..." Ayla nodded before saying, "Luna, can you just leave? I’ll ask Vivian to apologize to you later."
"Do you think she’d agree? I know very well that’s impossible," Luna replied.
"Let’s go!" she said, inviting Liam inside.
Luna had probably been to this place before.
She knew the way upstairs well.
They were allowed to pass by security simply by showing their university group membership.
From the elevator, they went straight to the rooftop.
A large swimming pool was right in front of them, along with five big speakers complete with DJ equipment.
Some students were soaking in what seemed like a heated pool, while most were sitting on sofas, drinking wine and beer.
Liam immediately spotted Vivian on one of the sofas, sitting with her back leaned against it and her legs resting on the table as she drank.
Unlike Luna, who dressed for mobility, Vivian wore a blue skirt and a beaded cardigan, looking luxurious and eye-catching, making her appearance even more striking.
Of course, it was an outfit suitable for a party but not for fighting.
While sipping her beer, she stared sharply at Luna.
The atmosphere grew tense with Luna’s arrival.
Alex approached, though he looked troubled.
Perhaps he himself was uncomfortable with his birthday party turning into a place for a fight.
But he couldn’t refuse when both women insisted on it.
Luna didn’t say anything and walked to an empty sofa.
She grabbed a strong beer, opened it, and poured it into two cups.
But she froze.
Liam didn’t follow her. Instead, he walked toward Vivian’s table.
Luna was surprised, and so was Vivian.
She straightened her back, looking at Liam with curiosity.
Liam sat in front of her.
"What is this?" Vivian smiled widely.
Annoying as she was, it couldn’t be denied that she had very sexy red lips.
Any man would want to kiss them.
With her glamorous style and slender figure, she could easily rival top models.
Everyone watched them.
No one expected Liam to suddenly sit with Vivian after arriving with Luna.
"How much?" Liam asked in response.
"What do you mean?" Vivian couldn’t help but ask.
"I mean the cost to take you away from here," Liam replied casually.
Vivian froze upon hearing that, then smiled strangely.
"You’re thinking of paying me?"
"Yes..." Liam nodded.
"No..." The woman suddenly shook her head, quite surprising Liam.
"Not tonight. I have to settle things with Luna first."
"Seriously, you’re more interested in fighting than money? I could pay you a lot."
"You don’t need to pay me if you want. Yeah, or after I’m done with my business—but I might end up a bit messy, so better tomorrow night. Take me anywhere you want."
"10,000 dollars."
"I told you, no need to offer money. I’m not that crazy about money, unlike Luna."
"I’ll raise it to 15,000. No need to pretend to keep your pride."
"Keep saying how much you can spend, but I still won’t leave unless you take me out tomorrow night. Of course, if you can’t hold back, I can help you find a woman. How about Ayla, hahaha?"
Liam frowned.
This was his idea, but he didn’t expect the Power of Money he believed in to be useless.
This woman had clearly sold herself before, though under strict rules, high payment, and only to handsome men.
There were plenty of rumors about it in the university, not just what Liam had seen.
Beautiful women could certainly take advantage of that to earn a lot of money.
So why was she refusing money now and even offering herself for free?
Had she retired?
"You’re confusing me," Liam said.
"That’s because you misunderstood me," Vivian replied.
"What?" Liam asked.
"Do you think I’m a prostitute?"
"Aren’t you?"
"Of course not. I’m a distributor... Women, illegal goods—you can get them from me if you want."
As she said that, she placed her small bag in front of Liam.
It was slightly open, and Liam’s eyes widened when he saw what was inside.
Salt?
Something like that.
"You..." Liam struggled to speak.
"Now you’ve reached a level where you deserve to know. Hahaha, seems like Luna didn’t tell you. After working in this field for so long, do you think I lack money? This party—do you think Alex paid for it? Of course not. Do you think he has enough money to rent a place like this?"
"You really are surprising..." Liam could only say that.
"So, do you want a woman or those goods?" Vivian chuckled.
"A date with me? That can only be tomorrow. Naturally, I don’t mind dating a handsome man like you."
"Aren’t you afraid I’ll report you to the police?"
"No, of course not. I’m safe as long as I’m in City X. This is also a police official’s business."
Vivian took her bag again and placed it under the table before standing up.
"Just contact me tomorrow." She patted Liam’s shoulder.
Then she walked toward Luna.
Liam felt uneasy.
He realized that Vivian was actually a dangerous woman.
No wonder some women were afraid of her.
Luna wasn’t—but perhaps in truth, she had relied heavily on Vivian before distancing herself after her childhood friend became wealthy.
Vivian clearly wasn’t happy about that.
That was why she kept mocking Luna.
And Luna wasn’t weak either.
She fought back.
Everyone stopped what they were doing when they saw Vivian walking toward Luna.
The tension instantly became intense.
And Luna stood up before Vivian reached her.
"You want to do this now?" she asked.
"It depends on you. Of course, the sooner, the better. People are already curious."
"Are you sure about fighting dressed like that?"
"Why not? Unless you’re planning to tear my clothes while fighting."
"What were you talking about with Liam?"
Luna seemed to have too many things she wanted to ask.
"Why? Curious? Well, I just told him that going on a date with me doesn’t require any money at all. I’m not like someone who needs money from men."
