Despite its imposing age, the 5000-year-old dragon is a gentle, herbivorous creature. However, its immense size and fearsome appearance lead a nearby village to mistake it for the Demon King's executive, presenting it with a sacrificial maiden. The timid dragon attempts to send her away, but the eager maiden refuses to leave. In a bid to placate her, the dragon falsely claims to have consumed a small portion of her soul, allowing her departure. Misinterpreting this, the maiden wrongly believes she has become the dragon's kin, and under this assumption, begins to manifest strange powers. Consequently, the bewildered dragon, through a series of misunderstandings, finds itself initiating a rebellion against the Demon King, despite never having been his subordinate.
