Victoria was amazing! She could think of a neat plan and execute it well. Now, I had my women under my roof. I grinned as it was exciting to bed Helena soon. She might be a virgin unless Kenneth had already touched her. I sighed. He was dead already. So, I wouldn’t think much of whatever had happened between them.
It was exciting to have Victoria for a night and Helena for another night. What if both of them were pregnant at the same time? I grinned. Helena’s child will be my heir. No matter what, her reputation is better than Victoria’s.
But then, Victoria’s confession of her past life filled my mind suddenly, also her love for me. No! I wouldn’t be weak because of the feelings. I would continue with my original plan: having Helena as my first wife and Victoria as my second wife.
Later, I remembered about Ethan. My half-brother wouldn’t let me do that. So, I might let Freya be a messenger to lure him to come here. Then I smiled as I thought of something.
A knock on my door stopped my mind-wandering. “Come in!”
Victoria came in. “My lord, I have done what you want.”
“Great job! Where do you place Helena?”
She took a deep breath. “I wanted to place her in the guest room, but I didn’t know if you would approve. So, I throw her in the dungeon, next to her mother’s cell.”
I nodded. “I’ll visit Helena soon.” Then I hugged Victoria and kissed her lips hard. “You are amazing. Don’t you know that?”
She smiled a little. “Yes, Constantine. I know it. I hope you don’t forget about me after having Helena here.”
“It depends.”
“What do you mean?”
I stared at her. “Do you know why I want Helena?”
“Because she is sweet and better than me?”
I shook my head. “Maybe her reputation is better than you, but about sweetness, you are the sweetest, my darling.”
Victoria was beaming. “Oh? Then why do you want her?”
“Because she has something I need.”
“What is it?”
I carried Victoria in bridal style to my bedroom. Then, after locking the door, I undressed. When Victoria was about to remove her dress, I shook my head. “Allow me.”
With a swift movement, I was beside her. Later, I stripped her clothes one by one until she wore nothing.
She cupped my cheeks. “It will be the first time we will have sex here.”
“Yes, my darling. You deserve it since you are brilliant. I can’t think of a better way to lure Helena here.”

I took a deep breath. “I will be honest with you. A woman with a good reputation is what I need as my wife. Helena has it and more. She has great power.”
“What do you mean? What power? She is as weak as a lamb that will be slaughtered.”
I grinned upon hearing the analogy. “For now. It is because Helena doesn’t know who she really is.”
“Oh? Who is she?”
“Do you know Witch Starr?”
Victoria nodded, and then her eyes were rounder. “Starr …. Helena’s last name is Starr too. So, do you mean …?”
“Yes, Victoria, you are right. Helena is the witch’s daughter. She inherits the power from her mother, but she knows nothing about it. It is I who will unleash the power.” I laughed out loud. “I will have her, and I will conquer the world with her power.”
Victoria touched my cheek. “Now, I understand why you want her. I thought you loved her.”
“Love?” Again I laughed out loud. “Why should I love a skinny woman like her?” Then I touched Victoria’s mound. It was hard immediately. “After having the sexiest woman in the world, why should I want another?”
