“We are married Jeremy, and this marriage would stand. If I feel a threat from anyone or anything I would not hesitate to remove it from my way.”
Jeremy frowned now and fixed his eyes on her. “And what exactly do you mean by that Cheryl?”
“If you are going to let her come in between us and ruin this marriage then I will be forced to protect what I have at any cost, Jeremy.”
His eye twitched in anger. “Did you just threaten me, Cheryl?”
“That was a warning Jeremy dear. Something I will carry out if the conditions are met.”
He stood up from his seat slowly and leaned over the desk, looming over Cheryl who showed no fear of him. “You forget who you talk to Cheryl, I should remind you of that.”
She saw as his fangs dropped and she immediately knew what was coming, she gasped and spun in the chair, trying to make it to the door and escape from him but in one heartbeat, he cleared the desk in one jump and landed on Cheryl who was trying to run away, he brought her down to the floor and pinned her there beneath him. She squirmed under him, the fear in her eyes was unmistakable and Jeremy smirked. She should feel fear for him as she was feeling now and he would make sure she did, if it took draining her every day, he was willing to do that. He loved the way she tasted.
“Jeremy! Get off! Don’t do this!”
He held both her wrist with one hand and pinned them above her head, she had recovered from the last one but not completely as she was not back to her full strength and she was weak underneath him.
“You cannot do this to me, Jeremy! You cannot!”
“And who says so?” he asked her.
Her heart raced and fear settled heavily in her. She knew how she had felt the last time he drained her, weak, vulnerable, and powerless, she never wanted to feel that way again. “Please don’t,” she begged.
He ran the tip of his tongue across his teeth and fangs, his eyes focused on the nook of her neck where he had bitten before to drain her.
“You have been a rather naughty and pompous little girl Cheryl, feeling you can threaten me.”
“I am just trying to protect what is mine, what I have!” she defended. His grip on her wrists was painfully tight and she could not wiggle her way out of his hold.
“And you are of the belief that I am yours? You have me?” he chuckled and brought his cold lips to rest on the nook of her neck, she flinched at the contact, a chill spread over her, and her body was covered in goosebumps. She shivered and a tear fell from her eye.
“We are married,” she whispered in a pained voice.
“Then I am allowed to do with you as I please, as a husband.”
She whimpered. “Jeremy, please don’t. it hurts like hell.”
“I know,” he smirked. “And you need to be reminded of the pain so you would remain in your place and flush the thought of going against me when it would tickle back into your brain.”
She cried now. “I hate you Jeremy Xiu!”
He laughed. “That feeling is very mutual Cheryl Declan.”
He bit into her neck and his fangs punctured her skin. Cheryl cried out and tried to shake him off her, violently wiggling under him but he had his other hand pressed against her stomach, pushing her down to the floor to keep her in place. She felt him draw blood out of her fast and hungrily and she prayed that he would not drain her like he had done the last time.
He drew from her for a while and just before she passed out, he retracted his fangs and lifted his upper body up off of her but still held her hands pinned above her head. Her skin had turned paler and she was now barely conscious, he removed his hand pressing against her stomach and watched as she sucked in a deep breath, a little color returning to her eyes.
Jeremy smirked, seeing her like this was one thing that gave him satisfaction, if he had known all it would take was draining her, he would have done that six years ago. Her lips were parted and she breathed in and out through her mouth painfully.
“I hate you.” she managed to say in between breaths. He smiled and leaned in for a kiss but she turned her face away just as his lips brushed against hers. His eyebrow came up.
“Isn't this what you had always craved for Cheryl?”
She whimpered and shook her head. “Get off me!” she screamed with whatever strength she could muster.
He grabbed hold of her chin and turned her face to him, pushing his thumb and index finger painfully into her cheeks so her lips remained parted and then he kissed her. Hungrily.
Cheryl could not fight him off but she didn’t give in to the kiss either, she struggled but he had her pinned down, in the position that was advantageous to him, so she did the only thing she could.
She bit him on the lip, hard enough to draw blood.
He grunted and disengaged from the kiss. Cheryl had a death stare in her eyes and Jeremy had a surprise in his. He let go of her chin and laughed. “Still feisty, you should keep that up.” he stood up from her and adjusted his suit, he turned his head and looked down on her without pity. “But never around me, or there would be consequences.”
Cheryl remained on the floor as she had almost no strength left in her to move or stand. Jeremy sat a while and watched her roll to her side and cry. This version of Cheryl made him seem like a very terrible person and she was the victim to anyone who did not know her and what she was capable of, but he knew her, and seeing this pitiful version of her made him calm and powerful. He enjoyed it, he would be the villain in her story if she would not know her place, and he would be more than willing to put her in his place.
He picked up his phone from the desk and made a phone call to his guard who was by his car, he could not leave Cheryl splayed out on the floor in his office, it was just the beginning of the day and he would be expecting guests as he had a couple of brief meetings for today. He looked at her while he spoke to the guard to come up here to get her and take her home, he absent-mindedly ran his tongue over the spot on his lip where she had bit him and a soft smile came to his face. It was sort of like a discovery but Cheryl Declan Xiu did make a very fine plaything for him.
