"Ok, how about this then, you look so hot that it would totally be worth the five years I would get if I had sex with you right now," he said as he put his lips to mine for the second time. "You look so hot it would totally be worth the five years I would get if I had sex with you right now," he said.
I couldn't help but chuckle against his lips as I pulled him away. "Really? No, I don't think that's going to work for me for a few reasons: 1. Who said I would have sexual relations with you anyway? And two, Henry is watching, and I believe he will be there in about three seconds to give you a good kick in the a** "I mentioned opening the door to the car.
He responded with a grin by saying, "Yeah, well it would also be well worth it."
While we were driving to the shopping center, we had a conversation on easy and friendly topics; he was incredibly easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable being around him. "So, why are we even bothering to be here?" As we entered the building, I voiced my curiosity about whether or not this was an appropriate setting for a date.
He took my hand and led me in the proper direction while saying, "Well, there's this small café in the rear that makes the best pie in the world."
"So you've conducted a significant amount of research on pies in other countries?" I asked in a playful manner.
He was amused, He smiled and shook his head while addressing me, saying, "You really are a hilarious girl."
I rolled my eyes and said with, "So they tell me." "Will you please make an effort not to provoke any lunatic waitresses into giving me the death gaze today?" I inquired while flashing a cocky look at him,
He added with a sneer, "I'll try my hardest to have you arrested, Jailbait."
Right at that moment, a waiter came over to us and asked, "Hi, what can I get you?" in a bored voice while he continued to glance down at his pad.
Blake then turned his attention to me and stated, "I'll take the cheeseburger, but hold the mustard, and serve the apple pie with ice cream for dessert."
"And what about you, mister?" As I placed my order for a chicken burger and an apple pie, the server finally looked up at me and said something. He appeared to be about the same age as I was and was fairly young. His eyes never left me, but eventually they moved down to my cleavage, which caused me to shift in an awkward manner.
"Dude, are you looking at my girlfriend's private parts while I'm sitting right here?" The question was posed by Blake while he stood and appeared extremely irate.
"Err no I just err" he mumbled backing back,
Blake practically hissed when delivering the ominous line, "Just go make the food before I smash your f**king face," aiming to intimidate his opponent. What the hell! Wow, he truly is possessive, and he has a temper; the poor waiter guy must have a hard time dealing with him.
I muttered under my breath, with a frown on my face, "Blake, that was completely unnecessary and embarrassing."
"What? Jeez didn't you see him staring at you? Christ, I could practically see the strain he was putting on himself "he retorted, giving me the evil eye in return.
Angry quiet fell between us for a few minutes as we sat there, and I had just begun to question whether or not I had made the right choice in coming here tonight when he reached across and touched my hand. Sincerely apologizing, he stated, "I'm sorry, I didn't want to make you feel embarrassed."
I responded by shaking my head and saying, "It's alright, but I can look after myself you know, you can't start a fight with people for looking for God's sake, otherwise I would have to fight every girl on the planet for looking at your pretty face." Wow, he really did have double standards. "It's alright, but I can look after myself you know," I said.
He raised his eyebrows and questioned, "You would fight for me?"
I joked and laughed as I answered, "No, I don't fight; I'd ask Henry to do it."
"What exactly is it that Henry, your small lap dog, does? You certainly have him under control and trained well "he added while giggling and making a sarcastic motion with his head.
"Henry is my very best buddy in the entire world, so would you please stop making fun of him would you? I really don't like it when other people make fun of other people. I mean, seriously, what the hell is going on with the two of you anyway?" I enquired while frowning.
"Well, when Henry tried out for the team Coach put him as my second, I got injured and was out for a few weeks and when I came back I had to share my place with Henry because he played so well while I was off, I don't do well with sharing, so I slept with the girl he was seeing," he said with a shrug as if it was nothing important. "Well, when Henry tried out for the team Coach put him as my second, I got injured and was out for My mouth dropped open; holy crap, it's no wonder Henry doesn't get along with him.
What do you mean? I said while leaning back in my chair and shaking my head in disgust.
He said it with great pride, "Hey, I'm not like that anymore, that was three years ago, and he wasn't serious about her anyway, he was just pissed because I got in her pants quicker than he did." "Hey, I'm not like that anymore, that was three years ago." Is he pleased with how he performed, given that? Wow, he's very different from what I imagined he would be.
I rose up, "Could you please drive me back to my house? I believe that I have made a mistake by discussing this with you "I responded while putting my coat on and walking toward the entrance.
"What? No! Come on, Samantha, and thank you "He said this while grasping my arm and shoving me forcibly back into the seat. He then slipped in next to me so that I couldn't get out of the booth on my own.
I said in a hostile manner, "Just move," as I attempted to rise back up, but he pushed down firmly on my leg to prevent me from moving in any direction.
He made the expression of a puppy dog and pleaded, "Just hear me out, please I'm sorry." I smiled and shook my head.
"All I want to do is go home; are you willing to take me?" I challenged him,
"No," he said while maintaining an air of superiority.
I fumbled around in my pocket for a moment, and then I pulled out my phone. Again, with a frown on his face, he questioned, "What are you doing?"
When I yelled out in a fit of rage, "I'm calling Henry to come and rescue me," he yanked the phone out of my hand and stuffed it into his pocket before I could finish my sentence. "Where did you get that? Give me back my phone, Blake, I'm not joking around with this "I said by giving him my most menacing look while extending my hand to him.
"Samantha, listen to me, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that and I know I shouldn't have done that to Henry in the first place but I was so angry at him, after my parents died the team was the only thing I had left, everything fell apart, and that was the only thing that kept me sane, and Williams came along and ruined it. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that and I know I shouldn't have done that to Henry in the first place but I Because I was so angry, I lashed out, but I swear such behavior is behind me now "He said this while earnestly staring into my eyes and putting on a pleading face. He spoke softly while glancing at the table and saying, "Please."
Oh my goodness, in the name of everything that is holy, how could you possibly refuse it? But this young man has some significant problems! I responded while still displaying a hint of annoyance and rolling my eyes by saying, "Okay, alright, I suppose I can't go until I've tried the world's best pie." His eyes lit up, and a broad grin stretched across his face as he cocked his head and looked at me. He approached me with his face angled in such a way as to kiss me.
An older woman was standing there with two plates of food when she requested, "Cheeseburger?" It was clear that the server was too afraid to return at that moment.
"Wow you got fantastic timing," he said with a chuckle as he looked at the lady. "Yeah cheeseburger that's mine," he remarked while shaking his head in amusement. Since that was the second time he had tried to kiss me tonight and failed, I masked my smile by snatching one of his fries.
After we had completed our meal, he questioned us by inquiring, "So, what do you want to do now?"
"I'm really curious, what are your thoughts?" I mentioned that as we were leaving the café, I happened to glance up and see an arcade directly across the street from us. "Oh," I said with a level of excitement that almost caused me to leap up and down, "How about that?" I responded by pointing and grabbing his hand, drawing him in without waiting for him to respond. It was very crowded and there was a lot of noise.
He grinned and asked, "An amusement arcade?," to which I responded in the affirmative before dragging him to the cashier's counter.
