Chapter Pregnant!

DYLAN

The sexual tension radiating off us intensified even more as the door to Brielle’s office closed shut. We stood there, lost in each other’s eyes for what seemed like a moment before attacking, each one of us in a wild frenzy.

Fuck, I would never get tired of the taste of her lips against mine, of the feel of her caramel coloured skin against my lips,

I could never get tired of her.

My right hand latched onto both of hers, holding them way above her head, my left sought out her soft folds under that sexy skirt of hers. “You have no idea how much I’d been aching to do this since I set my eyes on you in that skirt, Brie.” I growled lowly in her ear as my mouth trailed a path to her soft, luscious bra-clad breasts.

When had she unbuttoned her shirt?

Brielle’s breathy moans of encouragement fuelled my hunger, and I scooped her up in a swoop and headed for her desk.

I tumbled into her chair in a heap as she straddled my lap, her skirt bunched so far up, leaving her sexy red lace panties on display,

God, this woman was going to be the death of me.

Brielle shot me a demure look, as if she had no idea the effect she had on me. “My turn.” She whispered with a smirk, taking full charge of our kiss even as her hand cupped me in my pants.

Fuck, yes.

A quick knock sounded at the door, and before we could fix ourselves up or tell whoever it was not to come in, the door barged open and Brielle’s assistant, -I think her name is Amy- came in.

“Oh my God!” She screamed, her eyes wide as saucers as she dashed out of the office like she had been scorched. Never had a sight been so hilarious.

I felt Brielle’s wide doe eyes seeking mine out, and I struggled even more to keep my laughter under control. “You didn’t lock the door?” She asked in horror as she stood up from my lap and fixed her shirt which had come undone in our wild entanglement.

BRIELLE

The handsome bastard managed to shoot me a charming, sheepish grin. “In my defense,” He said. “Getting into your panties had been the only thing on my mind, I practically had no space to think up anything else.”

My face was red in embarrassment, I didn’t know why I was always reliving this particular situation with Dylan.

Or maybe I did, and didn’t want to admit it to myself.

Either way, it was still very daunting, first Sloane, now Amy. “God, we’ve pretty much scarred the poor woman for life!” I whined as Dylan stood up to wrap his arms around me. “Meh, I think she’ll live.” He retorted. I tried to push him away, the action causing him to burst into laughter.

I knew he wanted to laugh!

“Come on, Bree,” He teased. “Tell me the whole thing wasn’t funny as hell.”

Of course it was, but I wasn’t going to admit that!

Believe me, I tried, but I couldn’t control the smile that broke out on my face. The smile quickly turned into a fit of giggles that suddenly morphed into full-fledged laughter. “Alright, alright. It was.” I conceded, scrunching my face at him slightly. He sighed, “I really hate that we were interrupted.” He admitted in a whisper.

“Believe me… I do too,” I leaned up and slowly pressed my lips against his for a soft lingering kiss. “But you should really head out now before we get carried away again.”

“Should I really?” He teased, nuzzling my neck. “Yes, yes you really should.” I glanced at my watch. “It’s almost time for lunch anyway, we could go out…” I bit my lip seductively. “…or we could go to my place, or yours even. What do you say?”

He smirked thoughtfully. “I say that’s a very splendid idea.”

I watched him head towards the door, smiling slightly when he paused to look back at me. “I shall torturously be counting the hours till I get to see you again, princess.” He declared passionately, teasingly, causing me to groan. “I swear to God, you can be a really cheesy idiot sometimes.” I retorted.

Dylan chuckled and shot me a flirty wink, and then the door to my office closed shut.

God, how was I going to face Amy now?

 DYLAN

I was in a great mood.

It wasn’t every day you got to savor such a huge moment of success with a loved one.

Truly, Brielle deserved the level she had gotten to in her career and even more, because honestly speaking, I had never seen a woman as devoted to her work as she was.

You should have seen her face when it was announced that I had been made vice president instead of her.

She had looked so adorable trying super hard to be nothing other than happy for my promotion, when all she wanted to do was probably blow a lot of steam for being cheated off the position she had literally killed herself for.

Savannah stormed my office as I was thinking about Brielle, a mischievous smirk on her face as she took in the joyous gleam in my eyes. “I guess congratulations are in order.” She said breezily as she collapsed into one of the chairs opposite me, her full round stomach making the whole scene quite hilarious. She was almost in the sixth month of her pregnancy, and being the stubborn person she was, convincing her to take a step back from work had yielded zero results. “What exactly are you congratulating me for?” I asked, pretending to be completely oblivious.

“You seem to have achieved the unachievable, little brother; you’re vice president, and first gentleman all at once… pretty impressive if you ask me.”

“You do know first gentleman would mean I am married to Brielle, right?

My elder sister only chuckled, completely evading my question. “You know, I’m pretty proud of you, Dylan. A lot of men wouldn’t be able to handle working under their partner, but I have no doubt that you’d be able to pull it off, and successfully too.” She told me confidently.

A small smirk appeared on my face. “Well, I may be working under her at work, but she’ll be working under me at home if you know what I mean,” I said with a wink, bursting out in laughter at the disgusted look on her face. My laughter slowed down and I smiled wryly, playing with my car keys in the process. “In the end, I guess it just narrows down to making Brielle happy.” I admitted softly. “Anything that makes her happy makes me happy too, and I’m pretty sure it’s just the same for her you know?” I shifted in my seat to get more comfortable. “That’s just how love works… or at least that’s how it should work. I really think it’s high time couples started being supportive rather than competitive with their partners, Anna… though a little competition wouldn’t hurt sometimes.” I told her in all seriousness.

Savannah just stared at me with a wide smile on her face, her eyes moist with unshed tears. “Love looks so good on you, Dylan. It makes me happy to know that you’re happy.” She told me softly as a few tears ran down her face. Sitting up in alarm, I asked, “Anna, what’s wrong?” but she only sniffed some more. I stood up and circled the desk to her side. “Hey, don’t tell me you’re crying because of me?” I teased slightly as I bent down and wrapped my arms around her. She scoffed slightly and tried to push me away. “You wish,” She snorted through her tears, “It’s just hormones, your niece and nephew seem to be going a little over the top today.”

I chuckled and caressed her stomach softly. “Be good for your mum guys, alright?” I felt a soft kick, my gaze going wide as saucers as I looked up to stare at her. “You felt that too, right?”

Savannah laughed. “Of course, stupid…. it’s my body, you know?” I rolled my eyes at her. “They like you.” She cooed softly.

We were quiet for a while, each one lost in their thought, I guess.

I for one still couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that Anna was having not one child, but two. Brielle and I had accompanied her to the hospital that day, and the discovery had shocked even the doctors who hadn’t seemed to notice that there was another fighter hanging in there.

I wasn’t really that worried about my sister though; there was no doubt that she was definitely going to be a great mum. Plus, she had an over-eager support system who were going to pitch in to help her out whenever it all felt too much for her,

There was definitely no fear at all.

My thoughts slowly drifted to Brielle, and I wondered how she was going to look bearing my seed.

She was still going to take my breath away, that much was for sure,

But was she going to be as hormonal as Savannah was now, or even worse?

What about cravings? Would she wake me up at dawn to get her the strangest of foods?

How would our sex life be like? Would she always be super horny? Constantly thinking about my cock? Of me pleasuring her senseless?

I winced inwardly as I felt that familiar stirring in my pants. This was absolutely not the place or time to be thinking such thoughts.

God, just marry the woman already!

I ignored the annoying voice in my head. I was going to make Brielle mine in every sense of the word, but all in due time.

“Earth to Dylan!”

I shot up to my feet, giving my sister an embarrassed look. “I should start heading over to Tech,” I told her. “They need my approval to introduce a few things into the system.”

“I should leave you to it then.” She muttered as I helped her up. She paused as she got to the door, “That reminds me, Ma said to call her sometime-”

“Can we not talk about her?” I cut off with a groan. “I told you all the things she said about Brielle, and what she did. I can’t deal with her right now.” Raising her hands in surrender, she said, “Hey, I’m just a messenger, don’t take it out on me.”

Before I could bite back a retort, she was gone.

I was picking up a couple of logo samples for my meeting with Tech when the telephone rang. I reached for it. “Hello?”

“Hello Dylan, missed me?”

Not this again.

“Madeline, what do you want now?” I asked in what I identified to be irritation. “I thought we had an agreement the last time we met; you stay away from me, I do same from you.”

She chuckled dryly. “I believe I told you that there’d be consequences the day you get with some other woman that isn’t me.”

“Look, I don’t have time for your crazy antics-”

“And I just wanted to congratulate you on your promotion, Dylan.” She cut me off. “Why do you have to be so mean to me?”

I sighed deeply. Seriously speaking, I honestly didn’t know how to handle the woman anymore. I had tried everything; threats, talking one on one… nothing seemed to be working.

“Goodbye—”

“Dylan, we really need to meet up, I have something very important to tell you.”

“Look, I’m not doing this with you again—”

“I’m pregnant.” She cut me off a second time, stunning me into silence.

“Well, congratulations. What does this have to do with me though?” I asked a while after finding my voice.

Madeline chuckled softly over the line. “It has a lot to do with you, love… you’re the father.”
