Rupert's POV.
Celina is a demon, even though she had mentioned that Russell had taken her to his mother's pack, she didn't dare give the full information that I needed. "How did he take her away from the pack?" My Iris, I know will never agree to go with Russell, if he is fair to her.
"Russell drugged Iris with hallucinating..." I couldn't hold it anymore my strong hand fell on her jaw, the pain was visible in her eyes, though I was trying hard not to strangle her to death. "Tell me, the specific place?"
"I told you, dark wood pack, his mother's Pack, that was all he told me." My gaze was cold, it was like ice.
"Oh Celina, you wouldn't like me, if Iris had lost a strand of hair, I would make your life miserable and as for your love, if I were you, I would mindlink him and tell him to return my Iris." With that, I left without looking at Celina, Beta Mason, Delta Campbell, Gamma Lauren, and Iris Beta left the room with me, I could hear the loud screaming Celina, the guards know what to do, they are to teach her a lesson but to make sure nothing happened to the pup.
"Yuck, you wet yourself." One of the guards yelled, Fear had made her wet herself, she is that scary cat but she always gets involved in bad things.
"Come on, let's leave, I am shifting into my wolf."
"Alpha Rupert no."
This time, I couldn't listen to beta Mason, I had this bad feeling that Russell wanted her to think that he was me, no wonder my scent was lingering in that room, Iris must have gone there because she thought it was me in that room, I shifted into my wolf as I run through the wood.
Russell had slept with Celina even when she was my mate because the goddess cursed me, but this is different, Iris is the woman after my heart, the one female, I had loved even before the moon goddess fated her to me, Iris’s innocence had made me fall hopelessly in love with her and become too possessive of her.
As Vernon ran through the forest, he tried to picture what Russell must be doing to my Iris, to him, Russell didn't only make her smell me in him but he wanted to do something bad to her, I look at the moon, very soon Iris will be in her heat and that will be very bad if Russell keeps her so long there.
I look at the sky, it's getting brighter, It will soon be midnight, and I know this will be bad, Vernon is becoming more restless.
"Vernon, you should relax, If you get distracted with the thought of what Russell is doing to her, we will not be able to find her, trust Iris, she is an alpha not just any she-wolf, she is strong and could fight Russell." I try to persuade Vernon
"I can't stop whining, I hate the fact that Russell is all alone with her and he might be touching..."
"Come on Vernon, he is not touching her, if he was we would have felt it and you and I know that he is not." I interrupted him
Beta Drake, and beta Mason, were searching the map, and giving us guidelines on how to go about it, we have been searching for hours but to no avail.
"Alpha Rupert, you should try to smell her, if we get the slightest smell of her, we could get to her."
"But I am not getting it, it seems that stupid brother of mine covered her smell as well, what kind of substance did he give to her?" I growled.
"I am sorry alpha Rupert." My eyes moved to Gamma Lauren, he was feeling sad, and I turned to him.
"Stop beating yourself, it's not your fault."
"Still, it's my..."
"Alpha, Beta, Gamma, I think I smelled brother's scent, over there." Campbell called our attention to that and we all raced to the direction he was pointing to.
The place was far in the woods, it's like an isolated place, where no one would think any wolf ever lived, we get a great deal to run but with my stamina, I know we will get there soon.
Seeing the structure one would have thought it was impossible for anyone to live there, it was covered with thick bush, only the goddess knows how long Russell had been having this plan.
"Everyone separate yourself, we should secure the building, and if Russell tries to escape don't kill him, I want him alive."
My wolf hit the door with his front paws and the door fell open, darkness was what engraved our sight the whole place was dark, and it was not just a simple structure, it was a massive one, with my wolf eyes we were able to search the building, Vernon had a hint of her scent.
"She is here." Vernon said, giving hope that we would find her soon.
"I am getting tired" a faint voice echoed in my head.
"What was that?" I asked Vernon.
"That wasn't me."
"Could it be Iris's thought?" I asked,
"Maybe, just be quiet, if she or Sally will say something." Vernon suggested we try to remain calm while the others search.
"You need to stay strong, you are doing very well, I am sure, Vernon and Rupert will find us soon." That was Sally.
"How long, did you think I could hold on?" She sighed. "I am burning, I thought the heat would stop when I try to kill myself but it's not, everything is getting too much for me." She cried.
"You have to, I am sure Rupert will come for us."
"What if he already claimed his pregnant mate?" I could feel her sobbing, Oh dear, I didn't impregnate anyone, I want to tell her that, I try to mindlink her but her mindlink isn't connecting probably because she is no longer under my pack.
"Come on, you shouldn't believe what that punk says, you and I know that Russell is a sick man who is desperate for power and we do anything to sabotage Rupert." Sally persuades her.
"Vernon, can you trace the sound?" I asked, now that it was so clear that I could hear her thoughts even when we were not together.
"Ouch" I heard a loud voice and then I noticed that the screaming had left a tear in my neck. I too howl in pain.
“Alpha Rupert is there a problem?" Beta Mason who just ran in asked, his eyes bulging when he saw the blood on my neck. "What..." My eyes is turning red and my fangs and claws elongated as I slowly changed back into my human form. "Alpha Rupert, you can't transform now, it's going to be dangerous for us." Beta Mason yelled, Vampires and wolves had never been friends, and with me transforming into that I might forget that they are my people as well but I have no choice, everything in me is desperate to find Iris and bring her home safe.
"You all have to bear with me, I am going to take in my vampire form, I am sorry I couldn't control it but promise me, you will keep the others safe from me, you will not let me kill them."

"Mason." I yelled as I changed at him.
