Rupert's POV
Her soft voice came up and it was like my vampire was allured by it and it pushed off from her.
"Rupert, If it's you, don't leave me, you have to save me from Russell." Her words made me turn and I glared at Russell, he was lying there, my first throw as taking him unaware. He had no time to respond before I dived at him and sent punches to his face, my fist was like iron, and no matter how Russell tried to get out of my grip, it was difficult and I didn't want to give him a chance to change into his wolf.
I leaned over and smashed his forehead on the tree, "Ouch" he cried. I heaved my foot and kicked it into his tummy. Russell was now curled up like a prawn.
As soon as Vernon flash all that he had done to Iris in my head, my rage was massive and all I wanted was to kill him and forget all the promises that I made to mother that I will never hurt her son, fuck those promises, Russell wasn't my blood, he is just from father.
My fangs and claws emerge and it only means one thing, I will satisfy my blood-tasty vampire with this dirty blood of his but not after showing him all the acts of war that I have learned, I will make him smell hell before walking into it.
I will bring him to hell myself, my taekwondo, boxing, and fencing lessons were all I used on him, I was hitting him and never thought of stopping, all I wanted was to kill him, and my anger was at its peak.
"Rupert..."
"Don't you dare take my name?" I growl as I kick and hit him, the more he tries to shift into his wolf, the weaker he becomes and the more I hurt him. He was like a piece of trash that needed to be thrown away, I hit him harder, I was damaging his flesh and bone. All Russell could do was cover himself like a coward, this is unlike Russell, he is strong and I don't know what is drilling his strength.
He was more like a coward, Oh it's my vampire that is manipulating him, it's drilling his strength from him.
"Russell, you crossed the line this time, you wouldn't have thought of it." My voice was cold, and it sent a cold chill into Russell's system, his face was covered with blood and his throat was no longer producing saliva but blood, the pain caused him to plead, "Please don't kill me, I have a pup that has not yet see the light that needs a father." Did he just confess to the fact that he is responsible for Celina's pregnancy?
"Celina is pregnant for me, the pup needs his father." I watched him without emotions did he think he could pacifier me with the fact that he is expecting a pup with Celina, I didn't hurt Celina because of the pup that doesn't mean, I will let him go because of the pup, the pup is not his saving grace, even if the goddess will come here and tell me not to hurt him, I will pay no attention to her.
"He doesn't need a father like you." My claws elongated and my fangs protrude, I buried my fangs on his shoulder as I suck out his blood. "Brother..." He cried out but his blood was bitter, it's not something my vampire enjoyed sucking, I spat it out.
"Your blood tastes bitter and such kind of blood can't run in my vein." I yelled pushing my claws into his tummy.
"I am sorry Rupert." He yelled as I pulled out his intestines, he looked me in the eyes as his claws buried in my shoulder, a wave of unrevised anger surged through my veins and the only verdict I thought of giving him for suggesting my mate to this pain was death and sink my fangs more into his tummy, making sure of grabbing all the intestines in his stomach. "Take care of my pup." That was all he said before he spat out the blood in his throat and his hand fell off my shoulders, I turned my gaze from him, watching him take his last breath was disgusting, and I ran back to Iris.
I rushed back to my mate on the floor, my eyes were full of tension and fear that my vampire might still long for her blood, but I felt him shrink into my body causing Vernon to shoot out.
"I am here, Iris, did he hurt you?" It's an obvious answer, the tear on her neck and the side of her face, is enough to show that Russell hurt my princess.
She tried to open her eyes slightly but she didn't have any strength, she must have held on a great deal, if she were any other she-wolves without the bloodline of an alpha, by now she would have been history. When my skin met her, she was hot and fire was burning in her, her hands were shivering. I leaned closer trying to pull her into my hand, the smell of my cologne hit her, and I felt her become a bit relaxed. It felt like she could see the sun's rays after a dark cloud, that silver line of hope visited her. Her eyes were closed but they were watery, I saw tears fall from her eyes and they wet my nude chest, I was nude, and the transformation had left me without clothes.
I walked towards Russell and pulled off his trouser leaving him with just his boxer, so I could have something to cover the lower part of my waist
She buried her face in my chest. It didn't take long before the alpha of the dark wood pack approached me, he must have heard the commotion in his pack which is the reason he appeared here. "Alpha Rupert, I am sorry, I had no idea that your mate was kidnapped here, this castle had been abandoned for the longest time and no one ever came here because it's buried in the woods." I turn my gaze to him.
"I am sorry the guard on duty didn't verify the guest before letting him in and the young lady, they thought he was here for medical attention, and if she is sick, we could admit her at the infirmity."
"I need a room, a place where I could bring her." That was what came out of my mouth.
"Sure."
The alpha eyes are fixed on the dead body of Russell, he is terrified that this might lead to war finding the lifeless body of a prince in his pack, will stir a mixed reaction.
"You have nothing to worry about, my men will take him back home." He nodded as he led us out of the cave, we didn't go through the same way that we came in. The alpha presses a door as soon as we get to a building, I guess is the alpha building, the light of the room comes in full view.
I drop her slowly on the bed, ready to move from her but I notice she is shaking violently and something is off. She grasped my arm suddenly.
"Rupert please, just have me."
