Chapter 22:
Victoria was staring at him in confusion and on the other hand, Alexander's heart clenched with her words.. She remember! She remember the tattoo! He felt exited..
"Where did you see it?" Alexander asked, wanted to know..
Victoria tried to think hard but she couldn't remember and finally sighed while shaking her head in negative "no Alexander, I couldn't.. But it feels like I have seen it.."
Alexander's face turned a bit sad.. He thought she could remember.. But he didn't give up "umm.. maybe you have seen it while saving someone?" He tried to hit on her memory..
Victoria scrunched her nose with a pout "I did save lots of people, how could I remember that!?"
Alexander "....."
He thought she only saved him.. But she saved lots of people! What is she!? A saviour!?
"Why did you have to save so many peoples!?" He asked..
"I have a habit of swimming in the night and our house is near the sea.. Sometimes, people faced accidents while swimming, so..." She shrugged.. It was nothing big for her..
Alexander felt kind of disappointed "so, you don't remember anyone.."
Victoria shook her head without getting the hint "no, I don't remember.. But, I remember all the faces I have saved.." She looked at him..
Alexander's eyes brighten "you did?"
"Hmm.. I did remember all the faces.. Specially, that man.. When I saved him some people wanted to kill him.. It wasn't only a mere accident! Even that night was stormy! I was so scared! Once I thought to leave him there but I couldn't.. His condition was very bad.." Victoria shivered with the memory of that stormy night..
"Then why don't you just leave him there?" Alexander finally asked.. He really wanted to know why she didn't leave that night..
Victoria leaned on her husband's chest "because I just couldn't.. I felt him similar with me.."
Alexander frowned "similar? How?"
She looked up at him "Alexander, I have something to tell you.." Her face filled with nervousness..
He nodded "Hmm, go on.. I am listening.."
"But tell me first, you won't hate me after listening that?" She said holding his hands..
Alexander smiled at her silliness "I won't hate you ever Wifey.. Tell me.."
Taking a deep breath, Victoria sat straight "My name is not Victoria Hale.." Taking Alexander off guard with her words..
"What?!" He asked.. He was utterly shocked with her words..
Victoria nodded "yes, you heard it right.."
"Okay, then what is your real name? Alexander calmed himself down quickly..
"I don't know about that.." She looked at her husband for his second reaction but he wasn't giving any now.. He wanted to listen and just nodded, encouraging her to speak up..
"Two years ago, when I opened my eyes I found myself in the hospital bed.. Dr. Said I have been saved by a little boy and a man, they were waiting outside.."
"It was dad and Vincent.. Basically, I hit with a car, the people in the car left me at the corner of the silent road and Vincent saw me first, then they brought me to the hospital.. However, I forgot about my past life Alexander.. I don't know who am I and where I come from.."
"Dad tried to find out about me and came to know that I am an orphan, living in a orphanage in Southern London.. Then he adopt me and named me as Victoria Hale.."
"I tried to recall about myself a lot but I couldn't.. I was so insecured, helpless at first but dad and Vincent helped me to find a new me.. And that night when I saw that man, he was helpless, insecured.. Our situations were different but feelings were same.. And I couldn't leave him alone that time.."
Sighing she looked up at her expressionless husband "now you probably hate me right?" Her tone was sad with the thinking of it..
Alexander was really surprised.. But, didn't show it on face.. When he gathered her informations, it tells she is Victoria Hale, daughter of Vernon Hale.. But, her story is so unexpected!
Alexander pulled her more closer to him and hugged her "baby, you are the love of my life, my wife.. I can never hate you with such a stupid matter.. I don't care who you are! The only thing I care about is you are mine and will remain mine always, that's it.. End of the discussion, okay?"
Truth to be told, Victoria didn't expect this.. But she was so happy! She hold him tightly "I Love You, Xan!" Making him smile with his new nickname..
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.. Alexander frowned "who is it?" His voice was cold.. Who dared to disturb in their private time!
"It's me, Vincent.." He replied.. Both husband and wife were kind of surprised.. He never did this before!
Victoria get up and open the door to see if he is facing any problems.. "Yes baby? What is it?" She asked hurriedly..
Basically, Vincent never been left alone like this ever.. Specially, after Victoria entered in his life.. So, he wanted to spend the night with his sister..
He hugged her waist and nuzzled on her tummy "sisi, I want you to sleep with me tonight, will you?"
Victoria was startled with his request at first and then looking at his adorable face she couldn't deny and agreed with a nod "okay baby, you go to be, I am coming.."
Vincent left happily with a smile from there..
However, Alexander wasn't definitely happy about it.. His face darkened with the news.. He made her sat on his lap tightly..
Victoria was helpless but she promised her brother "Xan, please.. Only this night, I promise!" She pleaded..
Alexander shook his head "no, You won't sleep anywhere else at night! You are mine!"
"I know I am yours! But Vinci is a kid right? He has missed me so much yesterday and I just couldn't deny his request.. Please Husband?" She tried to sounded adorable..
"Uhu" Alexander shook his head.. He wouldn't let her go!
Victoria "....."
She didn't understand why this man is so childish!? "He is a kid Alexander and you are a grown up man! So behave like a grown up!"
Alexander "....."
Doesn't this woman understand, he is a grown up man and that's why he need her! How could she lend his wife to sleep with someone else! Doesn't matter that's her brother! Then who will take care of him!?
But before he could speak Victoria spoke "okay fine, just let him fall in sleep and then I will come back, okay? Now don't say no to this Alexander!" She said sternly..
Alexander understand he would have to lose.. Or else, this woman is not going to let it go.. Moreover, her offer is not that bad.. So, he sighed and agreed with her finally.. "Fine, but remember you will be back after he fall in sleep.. I will be waiting for you.."
