Chapter 25:
Victoria was just getting board seating inside home now.. She has to talk with Alexander about it.. Because it's making her kind of sick!
She was currently seating on the couch in their huge gazebo in the backyard, drinking her favourite vanilla milk shake..
Suddenly, she heard a male voice, coming behind her and when she turned she found a man standing a bit away from her.. In these months she has never seen him!
He is talking through his phone.. He is handsome, looking not more then twenty five years old.. Wearing expensive casual wears, it's sure that he is not from the servants.. Then who is he!?
She got up from her seat and walked close to him "umm.. Excuse me, sir?"
The stranger looked at her and hung up the call.. Arching his brow he looked up and down at her.. He is confused too.. "Who are you? New servant? But, you're not looking like any servant though!"
Victoria was actually surprised.. Does this man really calling her servant! What!? "This is my home but who are you?! How did you get inside!?" She asked, didn't like the attitude of the stranger..
He was startled at first and then smirked "your home!? Huhh! Then who is Alexander King!? Your husband!?" He was mocking her, taking her words as a joke..
Victoria frowned and nodded her head "yes, he is.. Alexander King is my husband.. But who are you?"
This time it really caught him off guard "that means he seriously get married! Oh My God!" He stepped towards her excitedly but Victoria quickly stepped back from him.. She didn't understand that man!
"Whoa okay! Don't get nervous! You don't have to be afraid of me.. I am harmless, come on.. By the way, I am Edward.. Edward King.. Alexander's younger brother.." He introduced himself..
Victoria finally was relaxed a bit.. She has heard about him a little bit from Alexander.. but still she kept a distance from the strange man.. "Okay, but I have never seen you before, so.."
Edward smiled "Hey it's okay, relax.. Everyone knows me here.. I am really his brother or else I couldn't get inside through these much security, okay?"
He has a point and finally Victoria calmed down and nodded in understanding..
Edward stretched his hand for handshake "Hi, I am Edward King and you?"
Hesitating for a moment she hold the hand and shook it "I am Victoria King, Alexander's wife.."
Removing his hand he watched the woman deeply in front of him.. He heard that his brother get married but he didn't believe it, yet it's true!
Victoria felt a little uncomfortable "umm.. What are you looking at?"
Edward smiled shaking his head "umm.. Nothing.. It's just you are too young compared to my brother.. I mean, how old you could be? Um.. teenager?" He tried to guess..
"I am twenty years old" Victoria replied with some displeasure.. "Is it a problem?"
Edward understand he messed it up.. He quickly shook his hands "no! No! I am not mocking or anything! It's just I never thought he would marry a very young girl like you! I am sorry, if it hurts.. I really didn't mean it.." He apologised..
"It's okay.." Victoria shrugged..
Edward scratched his neck "umm.. Can we seat there.." He pointed at the gazebo..
Victoria nodded "okay, let's go.."
They both sat down, maintaining a polite distance there.. Edward was looking at the young woman in front of him seriously.. It was a real shock for him!
When he heard his brother get married he thought it was a joke and his brother was fooling him so he didn't pay much attention to it..
Moreover, he always thought that his aloof brother would get married to Tina.. After all, she is the one who is a bit closer to him than any other woman after their mother.. She even likes him and also understand Alexander well..
Well, that's his thought.. Though Alexander never said anything about Tina ever! Which was very common with his aloof and cold personality..
Everyone in the college alway thought that Tina is the perfect one for Alexander.. They even called them as a perfect couple in the college.. Even, his family also like her!
On the top of that, after that accident he lost his face and get more secretive and introvert.. How on earth he just find a woman to marry him! Even when Tina was ready to do the sacrifice!
However, it was a massive shock for him to see this little woman as his wife! They didn't know anything! Just heard few months ago that Alexander get married with a woman! It was totally strange!
While looking at her, Edward find her really attractive! Like she is really beautiful and compared to Tina she is divine! Though Tina is very beautiful and gorgeous but this girl has some artistic definition!
She looks simple and young but with her growing up day by she would become an epitome of beauty! He has to accept that Alexander has a very good taste!
However, now it's time to see whether she is good for him or not!? After all, it's his brother's life! While thinking all these he suddenly remember something and asked "Umm.. Victoria right?"
"Yeah" She nodded simply..
"You are married to my brother, I mean Alexander.. What do you like about him!? I mean you know his umm face, right?" He looked deeply to see her reaction but much to his surprise she didn't give any!!
On the other hand, Victoria understand what he wanted to say.. But, she didn't get surprised and remained calm.. She was expecting to meet this question after meeting his family members though..
Victoria smiled "I know what you are thinking.. Why I did marry him? Do I have any alternative motives or not? Am I a greedy woman who only wants money in life? etcetera etcetera. Aren't you?" She already caught him off guard..
Edward felt uncomfortable now.. He scratched his neck.. "Um.. Actually..." But he has been stopped by Victoria in the mid way of his words..
"It's okay, I can understand.. It's a very common thing to ask.. And to be Frank, I actually get married to him because of money.. I need it and he offered me a help which I couldn't deny.." She paused and looked him only to find him stupefied..
She smiled again "Well, I do get married for money but I accept him as my husband because I love him.. Yes, I have fallen for Alexander.. He made me fall for him with his behaviour.." She paused again..
And that was more shocking for Edward! Behaviour!? He couldn't understand how Alexander's behaviour could make her fall in love with him!? The most coldest and aloof guy in the world, who doesn't even care about anyone's emotion, how could he even make someone fall for him! Tina was kind enough to love him! Well, that's also his thought though..
"His behaviour made you fall for him!? Are you even serious now!? Okay tell me, how!?" Edward asked, ofcourse not believing her words..
But, Victoria was confused.. Because she doesn't know what Edward knows.. And ofcourse it's not her fault!
"Well, Alexander is the most kind and gentle person in the whole planet! After my dad, I have never met a person like him! He is very caring, loving and a perfect husband! You know, signing my marriage registry I thought I was the most unlucky girl in the world but now I know I am the most luckiest girl in the world! I just pray to God that every woman in the world get a husband like him, then no one would be unhappy or stressful in life!" She smiled, Remembering all the sweet memories, Alexander has given her..
