Chapter WOLF — Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-four

— Hi, my love, — I ruffled the little wolf's blond hair.

— Aunt Zoe, where's Luke?— I brought him a present, look.

Apollo waved a red box in the air. It was impossible not to smile at his innocence.

— I'm sure you'll find him by the candy table.— I winked at the boy.

Apollo looked at Athena.

— Mommy, can I go play?

Athena made a thoughtful face before nodding, not being able to resist her son's bright eyes. Apollo didn't think twice when he let go of his mother's hand and ran through the guests, running over some along the way. Lucy laughed at her brother.

— Be careful, boy, — Athena yelled, but it was too late.

Matt walked away with Lucy in his arms, probably looking for my girl. I turned to Athena and linked my arm to hers, and we walked around the room, watching the children running and playing, screams and laughter filling the room, accompanied by the smells of sweets and snacks.

— You look great for a mother of five supernatural children, — Athena quipped beside me. — I just go crazy with Apollo and Lucy, I don't even want to think about having more.

I looked around the room for my children until I spotted my birthday twins near their grandparents. My baby girl was the firstborn, and I named her after my mother, Arabella, my sweet Bella. She came into the world six minutes before her brother, Lucius, five years ago, thus bringing double joy to my mate and me.

A year later I found out I was pregnant again and so Michael was born. It wasn't even two years before I had Theo, my little boy. Eight months ago my Helena arrived, my girl with light hair like her father.

It was painful bringing all those children into the world, but when I first held them in my arm, all the pain was worth it.

— It's a dream come true, all of this, Athena.

She waved, her long red hair falling like fire cascades down her back, the same hair as her daughter, Lucy, as Apollo was an exact copy of Matt.

Aaron ran past Athena and me, followed by Luke and Apollo. Michael tried to keep up with them, but he was still too young. Still laughing, I kissed my baby before letting him continue playing, with Danya and Adrian close behind.

— Oh, there's Clary, I need to talk to her — Athena said goodbye and went to the kitsune who was playing with Cassie in her arms, the half— breed with blonde hair and a genius as strong as her parents.

Theo played with toys on a soft rug in the corner of the room with Mathias, just two years old, son of my uncle Isaac and his partner, Madison, who accompanied the two children.

I got a cold juice from the table, it wasn't advisable to drink alcohol in the middle of so many children, especially at a children's party. I walked through the hall alone, watching my family all together. I stifled a laugh as I saw Celeste talking to her son, Axel, by the door. The witch seemed to be scolding the boy, probably due to the broken porcelain vase minutes before.

Axel was identical to his parents in appearance, mostly compared to his father, the same black hair and gray blue eyes. He had inherited Asher's mysterious behavior, a unique personality, but he was a very smart and smart child for his age, always looking for new learning, the reason for pride of Celeste and Martell, the witch approached the two and rested his hand on the Axel's shoulder.

I smelled a familiar scent and turned around, being crushed in Megan's tight hug. My sister smiled as she walked away and let out a whistle.

— I've never seen so many children together in my life.— Even though only half are yours.

I gave her a push with my hip, eliciting a hearty laugh from my twin. She was still the same after five years, with her surreal beauty and sharp humor, and those were unique characteristics of her that I loved so much about her.

— Where's Jason?— I asked, sensing the hybrid's absence.

Megan rolled her eyes and pointed to the side, where Aaron had thrown himself onto my sister's mate's back and now Jason was swinging him across the room, causing him to roar with laughter.

I put my hand to my mouth in amazement. Who knew that the so fearsome hybrid was now playing horsey with the youngest son of the Supreme. Frederick would give him hell for years if he saw that scene.

— I think Aaron likes Jason better than me, his own sister, — she huffed, crossing her arms.

I put my hand on my waist.

— Do you believe that sometimes I think that Helena only loves Lucian and not me?— She only sleeps in her father's arms.

Megan pressed her lips together to keep from laughing, finally shaking her head.

— Have you had any news from Lua?— Do you know if she has already given birth?

— The last time I spoke with Lua, she assured me that the baby would not come into the world so soon.

Megan clicked her tongue.

— You know, I hate this mystery, I don't understand why she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby.

I had to agree with Megan, I squirmed with curiosity to find out the gender of my children in every pregnancy. And now I had three boys and two girls, all intense and fervent.

Arabella appeared in front of me in her lacy pink dress, white flats, and a beautiful glittering crown over her brown hair. She stopped in front of me, stamped her feet on the ground, and crossed her tiny arms.

— Mommy, I don't want to play with Hannah.

I held back the urge to laugh. Bella was more like Megan than me many times, she had the impulsive temper and strong opinions even though she was so young. Lucian spoiled her like no one else, always giving her his full attention and showering her with gifts. She was no wonder everyone called her little princess, when she was treated like one.
