Chapter Get The Moonstone

Damion's Point of View.

Never met a woman who was as vulgar as she is. Or... did I?

"What? You've been staring at nothingness for quite a while. Are you that shocked? Is this your first time to ever heard a woman ask you shit like this?" she chortled and looked away. "Nevermind. I shouldn't have asked an impotent to have sex with me. Even if we do, it'll be impossible to feel the pleasure from you."

Faye looked away and was about to lie down again to continue what she's been doing earlier. How unlucky of her to feel disturbed when I pulled her back in my arms again a few inches away from me. I was remaining nonchalant as I looked into her eyes.

"Stop teasing me about having sex with you."

She chuckled. "Are you teased? Oh my god, why?"

"You're teasing me!" I shouted in a trembling voice.

"I'm asking you, but not teasing. I stopped and you still can't move on. Why, Damion? Why?" she asked, squinting her eyes.

She gave a goosebumps that made me push her away. Caring for her seems malicious, eh? But really, momentarily, she made me question my entire being. I don't know if I even know myself. But instead of keeping my pride between me and my thighs, I have to set it aside. It wouldn't free me.

We've shared the food given to us. Faye's still being a nuisance, keeping up her consistent stubbornness to refuse to eat. She's like showing me this is my kismet for being her mate as if I planned all of this.

I shook my head while my situation continued to sync in my head. One thing I loved that happened today is Faye's emotions that are gradually subsiding.

There's a mini curtain at the top of the wall, but it's ripped, looks old, almost the relative of a rag. Slowly opening the curtain- I immediately put it back. It got me a sudden rapid heartbeat, which Faye instantly noticed.

Faye was silently observing. As she reached my position, both of us decided to take a peek again.

There's a bunch of women outside, unconscious, being taken inside a wooden coffin, but later in a boat. Not all women are looking unconscious normally. Some of them look like they were abused, and tortured, and worst, some look dead. It's hard to tell. One thing comes to mind. It's Mia.

I hope she's alright. She's out of my reach now because of this stubborn woman who only cares about her personal needs. But it's good, she's out of danger.

Unconsciously, I banged the wall in frustration.

"What's your problem?" she asked. Based on her tone, facial expression, and body language, it looks like she's fine now and can fight. Was it easy for her to do that all this time?

"You," I bluntly replied, walking away from her.

But she grabbed my arms and pulled me closer.

"Walking away again?" she grunted.

While rolling my eyes, I nonchalantly released her hand with a certain pressure, then I continued to walk away, planning to check the basement.

But she's naturally born to irritate my whole being. Faye forcibly faced me with her.

"Why are always mean to me? I'm your mate," she asked.

I removed her hand from my face forcibly, "Is that a license to be in love with you?"

"Well, aren't you?" she asked in an obviously confused tone.

"Should I be?"

"But your eyes are showing it to me! Eyes won't lie! And it's impossible not to fall for my cunning beauty."

"That's the lie you tell me about yourself."

She started to break her knees.

"It hurts when you say that."

I rolled my eyes and helped her get up. I whispered, "This is not the time to be a brat. Any minute, you'll become either a sweet dinner or a rotten corpse. Choose the correct answer."

There was a long pause, a very awkward one. She was in her stillness. Maybe her pride is eating her. It was depressing to lower yourself when you've become entitled to a very long time. Now, lowering yourself feels like hindering your image.

She slightly opened her mouth, but couldn't fully as she was still struggling to fight the pride. Faye was about to go nearer.

But she tripped and slid at the top of me.

"Oh jeez, this is so cliche," Faye grunted.

And when they were about to get up, the secret door slides open, swallowing both of them.

3rd Point of View.

"Alpha King," Jacob grunted, tightening the fold of his fist. "Alpha Huandro," he added.

These two families gather together again, must have heard about Faye's missing case.

Humans started to scatter and take their position to attack the werewolves, while the werewolves were too busy thinking about what to say in their reunion.

"Let's kill these beasts!" a human yelled and other humans followed. They attack the werewolves.

Alpha King snapped his walking stick to the ground. Huge destruction has been made outside the circle of werewolves.

"We don't need your help to find my daughter," Jacob said.

"Yes, but I wanted to help find her. She could've been captured by the bandits," Alpha King rebutted.

"It's my business and the problem to solve."

"You can't do it alone," Alpha Huandro butted in. "You're the one who put your daughter in danger because of your reckless behavior and useless anger."

Jacob shouted. "GO AWAY!"

"Calm down, Jacob," Lucy whispered. "It's okay to have them here, we need them."

"In exchange for Faye, Lucy."

"Be it. Nothing is free nowadays."

"WHAT?! LUCY, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT LIFE!"

Lucy snapped. She stands before Jacob, twitching her eyes. Still bothered if saying her thoughts would be helpful. Yet, she has to try.

"Let them get what they wanted. If they need the moonstone, let them take it," she replied, looking away.

Alpha King laughed hysterically. While Alpha Huandro felt something strange he couldn't fathom. Looking at this lovely couple who were once inseparable are starting to lose their grip.

"Does this mean you're surrendering Faye to me?" asked Alpha King.

Alpha Huandro interfered. "There was a 'them', Joseph."

"You're still here? Jeez, such a big mosquito freely flying again in the sweet garden of humans.

"No one will take Faye," Jacob yelled, now running away from Lucy.

Alpha King was in a happy state to know this. The once solid family is starting to fall down because the foundation is getting weaker.

He shouted, "I'll have her killed. You watch," now slowly toning down, "It's not that difficult now that I have her in my hands."
