I couldn't stop crying in my room, I locked myself behind my room I really didn't believe everything my mother said.
"No way, it's very possible. I really can't believe what they are saying. How could Axen have the heart to destroy father's company?”
I tried not to believe what my mother said, I really believed my parents had set a trap for me to make me choose Kevin and marry him. I can't leave Axen alone.
My cell phone keeps going, I also pick up a call from Reina.
"Hello Devya, it's me Alex."
"Mr Alex." My panic answered the call
“Go meet Axen now, they are doing something bad to you.”
Without taking long, I immediately descended the stairs and ran to find his whereabouts. My tears continued to flow along with my footsteps. I run and keep running, my legs feel weak making me fall
"ahhh!!"
I saw my injured leg, I got up again and forced my leg to run as fast as I could. In my mind, there is only Axen, for God's sake I don't want anything bad to happen to him.
"Not!!"
I saw Axen who was in a cage, his legs and arms were tied with two people who kept hitting his body, I saw the blood flowing from his body, made me cry hysterically.
"Not!!"
I ran to him but both my hands were forcibly pulled by my father's bodyguard
"Don't let me protect him." I cried hysterically seeing him continue to be in pain like that, I could no longer bear to see him hurt and bleeding.
I pulled hard on my hands that were being held by the two bodyguards, I ran fast enough and hugged Axen's body that was already limp, I protected his body from the whip.
"How sir, what should we do." I heard the guard asking my father.
"Whip both of them, a child who disobeys both parents is not to be pitied."
Crazy!! My father had lost his mind, but I was still not afraid of the pain of the whip or of death. For me, if I'm together with Axen, I'm not afraid of anything I will still protect him from all those who have wronged him.
Seeing me being whipped, made Kevin just smile with satisfaction seeing me hurt, seeing me in pain he smiled with satisfaction, I saw revenge from his eyes.
"He's a real demon." I say
I looked at Axen who couldn't stand the harsh treatment given to us, I saw his eyes were very red and cried seeing me hurt.
"I'm sorry, dear."
I was very surprised to see Axen who had now completely turned into a werewolf right in front of my parents' eyes, he sounded like a wolf, biting the iron that entangled his legs and arms, he made everyone there shocked and couldn't believe what they had seen.
Axen's red eyes looked into mine, he looked at me with a vengeful look, I approached him and gave him a kiss on the lips
"Whatever you do, I will still love you." I whispered
I saw Axen signaling for me to leave that place, before he attacked. Quickly, I ran as fast as I could. I left Axen and trusted him to fight back on his own
"I believe, he is a great wolf."
I ran to meet Alex who was in his apartment with Reina, I saw they greeted me very nervously.
"Why isn't he with you?"
“Why can't you protect Axen, what are you doing Alex!!”
I looked into Alex's eyes full of anger and hatred, I couldn't understand what had scared him to let his best friend get hurt.
“This is all my fault, I was too scared. I'm sorry, Dev."
I'm still looking at him with hateful eyes
"I'm the one who destroyed your company."
Like being struck by lightning! I can't believe what Alex said to me, I look into his eyes hatefully and strangle his neck
"What do you want! Are you a traitor?”
“It's all for Axen's sake. I get threats from Kevin, that his family is still the descendant of the government that has massacred our family. In order to protect him, I did everything I could.”
I was very surprised by what he said, so all this time my parents had been framed by him so that all my father's company completely belonged to him??
“Bastard!!”
"I'm sorry Dev."
I rushed to meet my parents, I can't let them do this trap. I don't care about Reina and Alex's screams asking me to stay waiting for Axen in the apartment, because for me my family and Axen are the most precious things to me.
"I won't let their family destroy mine."
"oh yes? So you choose to kill your lover now?”
"who?!"
I saw a strange woman coming up to me, I had never seen her before.
“I am Kevin's older sister, Amora. I've only come to give you two options. You choose your family or your lover, if you choose to save your family from our trap then we will kill Axen easily, but if you choose to save Axen and let him live in peace then you only need to marry Kevin and let your whole company fall into our hands."
This choice is really hard for me. I can't choose between the two. They are very precious to me.
“I will choose both. I will protect Axen and still save my family from your family's scheming. I will look for evidence of what your family has done to my father. I won't let you take away the two most precious things in my life."
Regardless of him, I still rushed to return to the place of torture. I'm looking for Axen's whereabouts. He's not there!!
"Is it possible?"
My mind keeps rambling wildly, I'm so panicked now I can't accept the reality that I'm about to.. Seeing Axen injured and shot by my father, I couldn't accept such a reality. Tired of my own thoughts, I decided to pause for a moment.
" Where's everybody?"
I saw a man lying on the ground holding his head. I approached the man and made me jump in surprise.
“Kevin's dad?! Gunshot wounds?"
I immediately left him alone on the ground. I tried to continue to search for the whereabouts of Axen, my lover.
"There's no way he's gone."
I ran back to my house. I met my parents who were talking. Their conversation stopped after I went to see them.
" Mother father. Where's Axen?"
"Disappear."
I furrowed my brows, I still couldn't believe what they were talking about. I laughed out loud at the fact that it was beyond my expectations.
