The entire process happened so quickly, but a number of Zombie Lords still managed to react, immediately turning to flee without hesitation.
Qi Suian now had ten Floating Cannons. Barring any surprises, he would likely gain one new Floating Cannon with each subsequent evolution.
Furthermore, as the Tai Sui God grew stronger, the cannons could rotate their firing to cool down, allowing for a seamless barrage, although only one Floating Cannon could attack at a time.
But even so, their rate of fire and range were far beyond what the Zombie Lords could handle.
In less than a minute, the entire group of Zombie Lords had been reduced to ash.
It was called a siege, but it was really just a dozen or so Zombie Lords. There weren’t that many Tier 5 Mutated Zombies to begin with.
"It would’ve been great if I could have turned them into fuel," Qi Suian said with a hint of regret in his voice.
But he also knew he didn’t really have the ability to capture so many Tier 5 and Tier 6 Mutated Zombies alive.
The Dark Energy Web did have the ability to entrap, but this entrapment was essentially a slaughter, a killing method that left the enemy with no escape.
It wasn’t truly meant for control. The interstellar Dark Energy Floating Cannon swarm was fundamentally a weapons module; it only filled in for shielding or control when absolutely necessary.
If there had been just one Tier 5 or Tier 6 Mutated Zombie, Qi Suian was confident he could have turned it into fuel.
However, with greater numbers came more variables, which could potentially endanger his own life. Therefore, he preferred to eliminate the threat entirely.
