Chapter You betrayed my trust.

You betrayed my trust!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

“No…Aiden, please stop it!!” Kate roared, crying out for Aiden to stop hitting Alex but filled with red hot fury, Aiden didn’t.

Mike rather dart  into the chaotic restaurant , cussed under his breath and rushed over to hold Aiden.

“Dude, C’mon  not here. I beg you!” Mike pled, dragging Aiden away  from restaurant.

“Let me go, Mike. I want to make him pay!!” Aiden shouted, beads of sweat filled the contours of his face.

He had lost it. He wanted to rain all the anger he felt on Alex. How could he betray their brotherhood?

How could he hurt a woman?

It’s  so unbelievable. Alex was well aware of their role in the course of ending rape across the country . What was the essence  of the yearly donation  they make to help victims?

“He deserves to be locked behind bars!” Aiden roared,  the breeze blowing out was hot on his skin.  Whenever  he tried to dart in again, Mike shoves him back.

“Please, dude don’t!!”  Mike pled, heart bleeding seeing the twins at it again.

Truthfully, it was what Alex feared which kept him from saying the truth even when it was heavy on his chest. Even when it weighed him down, ate him whole. He had wanted to protect their bond.

But right this minute, everything  is breaking apart. Everything  is breaking apart even before Alex could save it. Even before Kate could unite them as one again.

Inside the restaurant, Alex stood up, a tornado  of dizziness  whipped at him. He stood up on his shaky legs, blood running down his nose.

He peered outside  through the sturdy glass and saw Aiden raging. Howling. Thrashing.

And then he knew, the truth was out. But how?

Steps faltering, Alex barreled outside, mindless of Kate calling out to him.

Some shits about his past mistakes  needed to be settled.

Hell, spotting him outside, Aiden dived at him, with conjured blows and punches he marred Alex’s  features.

Cameras  went off. Mutterings assailed the air. Curiosity  hung in the air. People wanted to know what in hell was going on between  the popular twins.

“How could you, Alex?”

A howl, a blow, a curse, all left Aiden’s  mouth and fist. He tucked Alex to the ground, punching, suffocating, cursing.

“She trusted you! How could you!” He let out, breath roaring, heart jerking.

All mute, Alex’s  eyes began to water. Abusing Cheska was a spur of the moment  act. It was reflexive  and forever it'll eat at him.

He had only wanted to show her he loved her. To show he cared as and can do what Aiden did.

He wanted to get as much love and attention  from Cheska. But he messed up all because  she scoffed. All because  she blatantly  rejected him. It made him feel like shit.

It made him so inferior, like he doesn’t amount to what Aiden does. It was all because  of the fear of being left alone that nudged him to act.

That web of darkness  didn’t allow him a rational thought and he…hurt her. He hurt Cheska.

Alex took the blows, if  only it'll forever kill the guilt eating at him but it didn’t. It'll never kill it. It'll only damage  his face and body but never put a concrete over his  guilt.

“She broke our deal, yes! But it wasn’t  enough to hurt her, Alex! You damaged  Cheska!” Aiden cried out and head butted his brother.

“Aiden, please…stop!” Mike pled…heart heavy with guilt.

Kate found her footing again. She glared outside  and saw what was going on.

Why in heavens  name are they fighting? She thought with  tears brimming her eyes, blearing her vision.

On shaky legs, she sauntered away from the restaurant, hoping to quell Aiden’s  rage and save Alex.

This has to stop! She thought, moving even when her ribs protested her movements. When she fell, she hit her side against  a chair. But the hurt didn’t  amount the one in her heart seeing the twins fighting.

“What the hell is going on?” Mira blurted out, holding onto Lisa.

Lisa shrugged, “I have no idea.”

Turning to face Lisa, Mira blurted noticing that Lisa was somewhat shaking. “Baby are you okay?” She asked.

Clearing her throat, Lisa hummed. “Yes, I am.” She quickly  averted her eyes.

She’s itching badly. Itching to get that phone lying on the floor a few feet from her.

That phone is a great weapon she'd use to break the girl that broke her. She itched to hold it. Wield it and ruin her.

And  then…opportunity  presented  itself as Mira excused herself  to use the restroom.

Skidding over, Lisa picked Kate’s  phone. Navigated through her phone and figured  Tiffany was Kate’s  sister.

Great, she thought as she downloaded  one of Kate’s  sex videos and found Tiffany on WhatsApp.

On a whim, Lisa sent the videos  to Tiffany, sealing it off with some texts.

*Your holy sister was never who you think she was. She’s  a pornstar in Sin city.*

As Lisa tried to  drop the phone back, Mira sauntered forward. Lisa’s  face gave her away as Mira knew instantly  Lisa had done something  to damage Kate.

“Don’t tell me you did it.” Mira whispered, hoping Lisa didn’t  do it.

It’s  no new thing that most people  in Brazzers  or any other porn industry  hides their identity  from their families. Mira herself, included. So that’s  the reason they take a stage name.

Lisa’s silence told Mira all she needed to know.

“How could you damage her?” She barked lowly.

“She damaged me!” Lisa ground out.

“No! She only fell in love but you chose not to accept it. She’s innocent, Lisa!”

Head shaking in utter disappointment, Mira took some steps back, hating the truth that glared at her.

Lisa lacked wisdom, empathy, ability  to forgive, ability  to love.  Lisa can never be the woman she wanted.

“You Lisa, don’t  deserve my love. I…I begged you to forgive her but you chose to harbor hatred  over love. Over forgiveness, even when she never hurt you. Damaging Kate shows how truly evil you’re.  It’s  true, all they say about you at Brazzers was true. You’re  evil. Maybe that’s  the reason the sex gods chose her over you.”

Mira swiped at her eyes, hating how hurt she felt. She only wanted love but Lisa can never offer her that. “Have a nice life Lisa.” Clasping her clutches, Mira walked away.

Maybe out there she'll find a better person. Someone that has good personality. She can’t  keep wasting her love on Lisa. She lacks the ability  to love.

However, seeing Mira walk away left Lisa torn. Should  she go after her or gloat  over Kate’s ruined reputation?

Flustered, she stood. She stared. Emotions  crashing down on her

As Mike pulled Aiden away from Alex, Kate went on her knees, holding Alex’s  head up.

“Alex…Omigod, you’re  bleeding so bad.” She fussed over him, tore  a shred of her dress and held it against  Alex’s  bleeding  nose.

With tears, she croaked. “Why are you doing this Aiden? He is your brother for chrissake!”

Alex struggled to erect to his feet and Kate helped him up.

“No matter what, you don’t  go physical  on him. You two are one! Why?”

Mike tried harder, holding Aiden off.

Alex stared, shoulders sagged. Aiden has every damn right  to hit him.

“I’m going to call the police. You deserve  to be locked!” Alden  sputtered in fury. “Because  of him she had had eight unsuccessful  pregnancies!”

Kate’s  eyes widened. Who is the ‘she?’ What did Alex do?

Slowly, it was making sense why Aiden was raging.

However, Alex’s  eyes widened like saucers at Aiden’s  revelation.

“What?” The words tumbled from his lips and Aiden scoffed.

“Oh you don’t  know? When you were forcing yourself  on her you should have thought twice before you did it!” A roar. A pause. Then. “You damaged Cheska’s  womb. Three of her babies died. Five miscarriages. Cheska can never be like other women. Ever!”

Mike stalled. Kate paused. Alex dropped on his knees. Guilt held his heart like a vise.

“I’m sorry Aiden. I never meant  to hurt her!” Alex croaked against  his palms.

Aiden snorted. “Really? Never what you meant when you drugged me too?  Why did you drug me that night in New Orleans, Alex? Wasn’t  it to hurt her?”

A long moment  of silence  followed. What’s the  essence  of hoarding the truth? Alex thought. It’s  already out. So it’s  better he starts spilling it all.

“I only wanted  to have some lone time with her. My self esteem took  a different  turn after she confessed her love for you. I thought you were better  than me. I thought you had it all than I did. People wanted you more or so I thought. People loved to do things with you more than with me.  And I was dying inside.” Alex sniffled.

Now, Aiden paused. He can’t  believe  what Alex was saying. He actually thought his brother  had it all because  Alex was always calm and collected.

“However, it became worse when I heard Cheska professing she loved you. Instead of us. It became  worse when she offered you a chance to watch her completely  naked. Cheska chose you over me and I thought I was never enough.”

“Days before her birthday, I planned to get her a gift. Show her I can love her too. I only wanted her to love me like she did you.”

No one spoke. No one moved.

“When we  came to the bar in New Orleans  on the night of her birthday. I bribed the owner of the bar to drug you and make you sleep with one of his workers. I wanted it to be a full-blown  distraction  so I can have Cheska to myself. It worked, the dude set you up with a girl that worked in his bar and I took off to meet Cheska.”

Kate stared hard at Alex, her breath almost seized hearing what Alex said.

No. No. This can’t  be.

What Alex narrated  about the set up is exactly  what happened  to her.  Six years ago.

No. No. Could it be that Aiden….no it can’t  be.

“Cheska didn’t accept me after everything. So, I did the rest in anger. I swear I didn’t  mean to hurt her but something  snapped in me. Something  dark.” Alex bit out, head leveled  down.

Story heavy, Aiden ran his hands in his hair.

“Who was the girl you set me up with? What was the name of the bar?” He asked Alex. Hating that another innocent  girl was included in this plot.

Shaking his head, Alex muttered. “I never saw her. I don’t know her. I’ve forgotten  the name of the bar too.”

Shame blanketed  Alex. Confusion filled Kate’s  mind. Bitterness clouded Aiden’s  heart. Guilt weaved through Mike.

It’s  time for truth, so Mike revealed. “I knew about the night six year ago, Aiden. It was a minor that Alex set you up with.” He swallowed.

That hammered strongly at Kate.  She was a minor then.

“Alex made me not to talk because  he feared your bond as brothers would break. I left for Ireland stashing the secret away. But…I’m sorry dude. I…blackmailed  Alex months ago with the truth. I should have told you, man.”

Aiden was at a loss for words. Dejected, he turned to Mike, saying. “Even you, Mike. You betrayed my trust.”

At that, he stumbled away.  Alex and Mike stilled.

Whereas Kate mind turned a whirlpool  of thoughts. Could it be what she’s  thinking?
