Chapter 124

It did not take long for the Master to find the mountain where Viswam was going. The reason is an area is projected like a mango on the hill behind the mountain where Viswam was going. The vision he associated with Viswam also disappeared from his view but the mountain that stretched out alone like that mango was etched in his mind. Many members of their movement are from the Himalayas or frequent travelers there. Talking to some people on the phone revealed where that strange mountain is. Knowing in detail how to get to the hill next to it, he left immediately.

No matter how fast you go, it will take at least a day to reach the area, so there is no chance of catching up with Viswam at that place. It was heartbreaking to think that Viswam had preceded the existing temple of this trident just as it preceded the Kali temple. But he was reminded that all bitter experiences come for a reason. Some lessons cannot be learned without those bitter experiences. He told himself that he could not rise to the next level of enlightenment without studying those lessons so that all bitter experiences would rise him to the next level. But that resentment did not subside.

He had to travel twenty hours by jeep from Rishikesh. After that he rested for a while at the foot of the hill and started hiking. Even though the physical strength had not diminished to the master he was not able to climb the mountain like Viswam. He climbed as fast as possible. It took five hours for the adjacent mountain stretched like mango came to level of his eyes. After a few more steps the trident and the black rock became visible. They have removed the snow that was on top of it. Excitedly the master walked towards the trident. The closer he got there the more he began to feel powerful spiritual waves. Yogis and Siddhars can feel such waves of power only where they are. This came as a surprise to the master who had until now thought that something planted above the trident was only part of a small temple. As he approached, the cave entrance was visible beneath the trident.

Realizing that the waves of power from the cave had erupted in full force, Master knelt at its door to pray and went inside. Inside there was a sage was immobile in a penitent position. There was a blanket on his left wrist. Upon closer inspection he knew he was dead. There was only a scarf around his waist on his slender body. He was surprised to see that sage was a white man. He knew the extraordinary calmness and fulfillment on his face. Satisfaction of living a high life properly? The master fell prostrate and bowed.

The mild heat that prevailed in the cave was the opposite of the freezing cold outside. The dim light inside must have been the result of the penance of this sage. The fact that this dim light and the wave of energy that filled the place did not diminish even when he was dead seemed to be evidence of his ascetic glory. That map he got on a waxing saptami day is in his hand for something here. Is this a dead man, or something inside the cave?

The master relaxed and explored the cave. It was a small cave. There are no items there. A face was carved on one side of the cave wall. A small triangular hole was visible in the forehead. The eyes on the face were in a half-closed meditative state. The face that reflects the Lord Shiva’s yoga position. There was deep silence in the face. It is not known why the hole is where the forehead is. Has it been taken from its place? Could Viswam have taken it? The master scanned the forehead with his finger. The great power surge was felt by the finger. Surely that forehead must have been in this place until yesterday.

Master thought. Definitely not likely to have knocked b Viswam with a chisel and taken it apart. Because the hole is not rough. That forehead must have already been fitted. The forehead eye is the most popular symbol within the triangular shape. He has heard that the symbol is even on the US dollar and that it is the symbol of the Illuminati. Viswam has sent money to the Illuminati. Now he has taken that logo with him. Was it just waiting for him? No. Did he take away the symbol they had placed for the movement?

He was struck by the thought of a second possibility. 'Is this the punishment for my delusion, Guru?' He cried to himself. Searched for more. There was no other strange object, no other sculpture or symbol. The mind felt pain. He saw the Lord Shiva’s yoga face sculpture.

Having a hole in the forehead was a major downside. He would not have taken that forehead eye even if he had come first. Knowing that he was able to take it, he would not be willing to cripple the idol and do whatever he could to achieve it. The master, who also prostrated himself before Lord Shiva, thought that it would be an honor for him to bury the body of the ascetic properly. He pulled the woolen cloth in his hand. The rug came in handy. But as soon as he touched it his body shuddered for a moment. He realized that piece of cloth belonged to Viswam. He was able to see again that this cloth was around his waist as he recalled the scene he had seen before. He folded the cloth and put it on the side and came out carrying the sage. The sage was very light.

He dug the ice with his fingers in a slightly flat wide area near the cave and buried it in the abyss, covering the snow again. As he dug into the ice he injured his hands and blood red mixed with white snow. He did not care. A black bird began to circle above him as he knelt and bowed. After circling three times the bird sat on the tomb. The bewildered master folded his hands. Is this the bird he saw on that map? The bird looked at him silently for a minute. Then it flew away. The master watched as it flew high and high until it disappeared from view.

He felt like it was some kind of blessing that the bird had came and went. He was stunned as he lowered his gaze again. There was a triangular shape on top of the tomb. In the middle of it was the forehead. It was almost the size of a hole in the forehead of Lord Shiva. That bird must have been brought in and left. His body and mind shivered. Master slowly picked up the forehead stone.
