2: save1 Bringing a Childhood Friend Home
Junior high knowledge felt slightly unfamiliar to Lu Lele, but with the knowledge reserve from before she transmigrated and the memories of the original owner, attending classes and studying posed no problem.
However, Lu Lele certainly wasn't listening seriously. Her mind was entirely focused on what would happen after school.
Today happened to be Friday, the time when students could go home.
Tangerine City Public Girls' Middle School was a boarding school. From Monday to Thursday, the students lived at the school, but after classes on Friday, they could go home to spend the full weekend, not returning until Monday morning.
After the routine Friday cleaning was finished, Lu Lele slung her backpack over her shoulder and rushed straight for Liu Lili, who had just stepped out of the classroom, quickly catching up to her.
Lu Lele very naturally linked her arm through Liu Lili's, asking at the same time:
"Do you want to come to my house to play for a while?"
Lu Lele wasn't worried that being seen by teachers or classmates would bring any bad influence, because this world was about the same as modern China. This level of intimacy between girls would only be seen as friendship.
Liu Lili didn't shake off Lu Lele's arm, answering:
"Play video games? We got tired of them last time, so let's pass."
Lu Lele shook her head, answering with feigned mystery:
"No no no. I definitely wouldn't let Lili play games we've played before. I'll secretly tell you, I've prepared some fresh little gadgets. They're even more stimulating than games."
"Really?"
Liu Lili hesitated for a moment, then glanced at her Little Bear watch, which cost ten yuan:
"But it's six o'clock, and I still have to go to my aunt's house to help out..."
Lu Lele pouted:
"Just for that bit of pocket money? However much she gives you, I'll give you double! Triple is fine too! And didn't you complain to me last time that your aunt is completely treating you like a coolie? Lili, don't go, come play with me."
Liu Lili was still struggling:
"B-but I'm afraid of disturbing your uncle and aunt..."
Lu Lele made a "rest assured" gesture:
"I told you, they are always away on business trips and haven't come back yet. Otherwise, how could I invite you over to play?"
Lu Lele spoke the lie without any fluctuation in her heart. The absence of her parents was something Lu Lele had kept hidden from Liu Lili since she was small:
"Such a big house, and I live there all alone. It's really too boring. Lili, come on, come on."
According to the memories Lu Lele inherited, her parents were high-level executives at some large corporation, very, very rich, but they died in a car accident when she was six.
After that, Lu Lele was raised by her grandmother for a while. As a result, her grandmother fell one day while Lu Lele was at school. Her originally sturdy body went downhill from there, and she passed away that winter.
Lu Lele's current guardian was her biological sister, Lu Yanyan.
Lu Yanyan was currently studying for a PhD at Tangerine City University of Technology. She usually lived at the school and was very busy, only coming back once a month to see Lu Lele, saying a few words about studying hard before rushing back. Lu Lele suspected that if it weren't for legal regulations, her sister might not come home even once a year.
However, her biological sister gave Lu Lele a lot of living expenses, so much that Lu Lele's monthly pocket money was about three or four times that of a normal working person, basically more than she could spend. Usually, there were no constraints on her either. Lu Lele could do whatever she wanted as long as she didn't cause any trouble that required a parent.
Lu Lele knew clearly in her heart that having such a strange identity background was entirely because the Strange God wanted to lower the difficulty for her. When Lu Lele first digested the memories, even though she was mentally prepared, she couldn't help but complain in her heart. This kind of identity was truly ridiculousness opening the door for ridiculousness, ridiculous to the extreme.
Liu Lili lowered her head and hesitated for a long time before finally nodding and saying, inexplicably:
"Okay. By the way, Lele, you usually live all alone? It's really enviable."
Lu Lele couldn't help but freeze when she heard that:
"Huh? What's there to envy? Oh, don't tell me you envy me for playing however I want on weekends?"
Liu Lili shook her head. She didn't explain or clarify, but changed the subject, saying:
"Lele, I remember you take the bus home? The next bus should be coming soon. Let's go."
Lu Lele nodded, and holding hands with Liu Lili, they walked towards the bus stop, stepping onto the road home.
Overall, bringing Liu Lili home wasn't a difficult task.
This set of procedures was a routine Lu Lele had used in her first attempt. It was a plan Lu Lele formulated based on her memories before transmigrating, simple and easy to use.
Liu Lili and Lu Lele had a very good relationship. Tricking her into coming home wasn't hard. What was hard was how to show the yandere side, to "completely claim Liu Lili for herself."
Lu Lele didn't know exactly what kind of behavior conformed to the definition of a "possessive-type yandere." Although the Strange God had explained it in the information given to Lu Lele, the only move Lu Lele could think of was kidnapping her back home.
Kidnapping was naturally illegal in this world, but Lu Lele had tried asking nicely in the last attempt and met with fierce resistance. This time, she had no choice but to adopt another method.
Lu Lele knew clearly in her heart what she was about to do. Before transmigrating, she was a model citizen who had never done anything bad from childhood to adulthood.
But she had figured it out last night.
She just had to treat this as a game. In this game, she would play the role of a yandere. By category, she was definitely a villain. All the sins she committed were not her true intention, but merely imitating the yandere in a galgame.
It was just like Paradox gamers on Earth. The crimes they committed in the game were too numerous to record, ten minutes of execution wouldn't be enough, but perhaps in reality, they were sunny and bright young people.
If we really had to assign blame, that Strange God who threw her into this world without a word and forced her to play a yandere for a reason as simple as boredom was the real mastermind behind the scenes.
Lu Lele successfully numbed herself. Otherwise, she wouldn't have the courage to continue.
Soon, Lu Lele finally brought Liu Lili to the door of her home.
What came into view was a two-story villa with its own garden, complete with an attic and a basement. It was very large, a proper small mansion.
Perhaps the original Lu Lele had lived there for so long that she didn't feel anything, but the transmigrated Lu Lele, even with memories and even though it was her second attempt, couldn't help but exclaim when she saw this big house with her own eyes.
This is what it means to be rich? It's truly impressive.
The thought that such a big house belonged only to her alone made a strange, wonderful feeling rise in Lu Lele's heart, which then gradually formed into a strong thought.
At the very least, she had to strive to save the game in this house this time. At worst, she had to stay for a few more days.
Her own home was much more spacious and comfortable than the school dormitory.
"Lele, why are you spacing out? Open the door."
The absent-minded Lu Lele was pulled back to reality by the voice of Liu Lili beside her.
"Oh oh, right away."
As Lu Lele spoke, she extended the index finger of her left hand and pressed it on the touchscreen next to the outer gate of the garden.
Fingerprint unlocking technology had long been widely applied in this world, and the lock on Lu Lele's door was a perfect example.
Ding~
Accompanied by the sound of soothing music, the outer gate opened in response.
The main door of the house had the same configuration, also using fingerprint unlocking.
Just like that, without spending much effort, Lu Lele successfully led her childhood friend, Liu Lili, into her home.
The time for them to be alone together was finally about to begin
