21: save3 Unexpected Methods
The next day.
Lu Lele rose early once again, holding her notebook. Without even eating, she began to prepare according to the plan.
Since she had decided to elope with Liu Lili, Lu Lele had many things to do, including but not limited to the following work, purchasing travel supplies, weapons for self-defense, and drugs that could make Liu Lili "obedient," determining the final destination, researching local customs and conditions, looking for potentially useful information on local forums, and finding a place where they could settle down.
Lu Lele didn't have much time left. She had to finish all these matters in just one short day, and then take Liu Lili and run.
But Lu Lele had barely started working for long when she suddenly recalled a matter that seemed quite serious.
Yesterday, after reloading the save, Lu Lele seemed to have completely ignored Liu Lili. To be precise, she hadn't even seen her. It had already been nearly ten hours.
She hadn't even prepared Liu Lili's dinner last night.
She must be starving by now.
Lu Lele couldn't help but start blaming herself. As a yandere, to be able to forget the person she loved for so long, she really wasn't very qualified.
Lu Lele thus temporarily set aside the tasks at hand and cheerfully began making breakfast for her childhood friend.
Not long after, Lu Lele prepared the food. It was still the omurice and milk filled with her love.
"Lili, good mor..."
Lu Lele pushed the door open to greet her, but froze halfway through, not even getting the "morning" out in time.
A very rich, pungent odor assaulted her face, nearly driving Lu Lele out.
What she saw was Liu Lili curled up on the bed, her eyes red and her expression wooden. She stared blankly in the direction of the door.
On the floor beside the bed lay a yellowish stain. It had dried up for the most part, but a small portion of liquid remained.
Lu Lele understood instantly what had happened and couldn't help but curse herself silently in her heart.
Poor Liu Lili, she must have been tortured to the brink, right?
Lu Lele had forgotten to replicate the things she did to Liu Lili in the last attempt. Not only did she not unlock the handcuffs, Liu Lili's hands were still cuffed behind her back, tied to the bed beam with rope. Moreover, Lu Lele hadn't prepared the collar and the extended chain. Liu Lili's range of activity was only that small area.
This meant Liu Lili couldn't go to the bathroom, and she had to maintain a very uncomfortable posture, enduring hunger and humiliation in that tiny area for a full ten-plus hours.
Furthermore, because Lu Lele was so absorbed in thinking about the plan last night, she completely forgot about Liu Lili. Coupled with the excellent soundproofing of Lu Lele's room, Lu Lele couldn't hear Liu Lili's voice. Even if Liu Lili called Lu Lele's name, she wouldn't get any response.
After seeing Lu Lele enter, Liu Lili's expression instantly became incredibly vivid.
Lu Lele could feel a mix of fear, joy, and dread in her expression, emotions that were mutually exclusive yet perfectly unified on Liu Lili's face at this moment.
"Lele, you, you..."
Liu Lili didn't stop calling Lu Lele by her nickname like in the last attempt. She still called her "Lele," but her voice trembled violently, sounding weak.
Moreover, Lu Lele sensed a trace of barely perceptible fawning in the tone Liu Lili spoke with.
Lu Lele didn't know why Liu Lili wasn't as cold as last time, but she still gave Liu Lili a sweet smile and responded:
"Lili, I'm here."
"..."
"...Wuu..."
Hearing this sentence, Liu Lili cried loudly, as if a certain string inside her had snapped.
Lu Lele perhaps thought Liu Lili was crying because she had been hungry for too long or felt wronged, but the reality was not so.
From Liu Lili's perspective, Lu Lele's attitude toward her had been very eager before. Although she would sometimes make some very bold moves, like forced kisses or mouth-to-mouth feeding, Liu Lili could feel Lu Lele's liking and partiality toward her. This made it easy for Liu Lili to find a way to cope.
This also made Liu Lili believe that even if she was kidnapped, the situation was still within her control. She wouldn't be abused, and there wouldn't be any danger to her life.
That was why Liu Lili dared to negotiate terms with Lu Lele without fear, and after stepping on a landmine, she boldly decided to ignore Lu Lele, using this as a form of dissatisfaction and punishment toward Lu Lele for not following her wishes.
Liu Lili knew Lu Lele loved her deeply, loved her to madness. As long as she didn't run away, nothing would happen.
Liu Lili felt that even if she said those words, Lu Lele wouldn't do anything to her. On the contrary, she would treat her even better, as a form of "compensation."
However, Lu Lele's actual performance wasn't what she had envisioned.
After Liu Lili said she didn't like Lu Lele anymore, Lu Lele didn't look at her for a whole night. A whole night, and she didn't even send dinner.
She couldn't even find Lu Lele when she needed to use the toilet. Even if Liu Lili shouted Lu Lele's name loudly, she got no response.
In the end, Liu Lili could only hold it in and relieve herself on the ground beside the bed. Her underwear and thighs were soaked through. That wet, filthy sensation accompanied her for the entire night.
At first, Liu Lili felt very angry, incredibly angry. She decided in her heart to never acknowledge Lu Lele again.
But as time passed, Liu Lili's mindset gradually began to change.
From anger, to confusion, to heartbreak and sadness, and finally, it transformed into terror and dread.
Especially when night fell and Lu Lele still hadn't come to see her, and she could only go to sleep on an empty stomach, Liu Lili truly started to panic.
After all, Liu Lili was just a middle school student. No matter how strong her psychological quality was, she couldn't withstand this kind of long-term torture.
Liu Lili began to think wildly. She thought it must be because she said "I don't like you anymore" that Lu Lele got angry, causing Lu Lele to decide to punish her in this way.
But the problem was, Liu Lili didn't know exactly how angry Lu Lele was.
If it was just ignoring her for a while, like the exhibition play from that day, Liu Lili could accept it.
But what if Lu Lele abandoned her completely? What if she never came back?
In that case, she would die.
Starving to death in this small room, ending such a life in humiliation. No matter how she thought about it, that was terrifying.
By the morning of the second day, Liu Lili had cried until her eyes were red. The anxiety and fear in her heart had reached their peak.
Liu Lili was just an ordinary girl. She was naturally afraid of death, incredibly so. She hoped desperately that Lu Lele would appear before her. She prayed every single second.
It wasn't until she saw Lu Lele push the door open in the morning that the intense unease in Liu Lili's heart was finally resolved. In that moment, Lu Lele seemed like a savior. Even the things Lu Lele had done before were no longer important.
Lu Lele didn't know that her behavior in this attempt, of becoming absorbed in serious business and forgetting her childhood friend, inadvertently achieved an incredible effect.
Giving Liu Lili long-term neglect and torture, and then giving a lifeline to her soul that was on the verge of collapse.
The stick and the carrot. This was indeed a very effective method.
A means of cultivating a "possession."
Lu Lele paid no mind to the smell in the room. She walked over to Liu Lili's side and sat down, affectionately stroking her childhood friend's head.
"Lili, be good. Don't cry anymore. This is the breakfast I specially prepared for you. I know, you must be starving, right?"
"Come, Lili. Let me feed you~"
So, Lele still loves me after all?
Liu Lili cried even louder.
