Chapter Breaking Up With Him

Marcell continued to crack a million dime jokes, but it made Resti feel even better. This was not what the boy had imagined, he thought Resti was an annoying girl who could only bully the younger classmates, but not after he interacted further with her. Resti was different, and Marcell felt comfortable.

It was no wonder that the two teenagers, who had just gotten to know each other, were the center of attention in class. Even Weeby.

Suddenly, Weeby rolled her eyes lazily when her tail caught Marcell and Resti's attention. Weeby was a little annoyed to see that. Even more so when Marcell teased Resti.

"What the hell are they, I really feel ill at ease," Weeby grumbled, her mouth swaying forward.

"Why are you By? You're so annoyed," sneered Uti, a puffy girl sitting next to Weeby.

"How can I not be annoyed? They both make my ears dull," said Weeby, who was still glancing at Marcell and Resti, who were joking around.

"Maybe you're jealous of Resti again," Uti suspected with narrowed eyes.

"What envy? I'm just grateful that I moved here, not to be near that annoying human like Marcell," Weeby scolded in a sarcastic tone of voice. She turned her eyes toward Uti.

"Are you really By?"

"So what?" Weeby turned the question around.

Uti smacked her lips in annoyance, "I'm a puffer, are you sure you'll feel comfortable sitting with me?" She explained bluntly.

Weeby responded by oohing and aahing. Then she replied, "take it easy, I'll be comfortable sitting with you Ti." Now the only thing on Weeby's mind was Marcell. For some reason, since Resti sat next to Marcell, Weeby's feelings became uneasy and resentful.

Weeby once again glanced at Marcell's seat, she really wanted to know what the two of them were doing.

Suddenly Weeby choked up, rounding her eyes very wide as eye contact was established with Marcell. Without hesitation, Weeby hurriedly looked away while closing her eyes tightly, she was really holding back her embarrassment.

Smiling wryly, Marcell then got up from his seat and walked over to the bench Weeby was now sitting on.

With difficulty, Weeby tried to swallow her saliva. The moment Marcell walked closer to Weeby, it made Weeby feel awkward.

"Hi By!" greeted Marcell softly, and he waved his hand right in front of Weeby's face.

"What do you want?" Weeby looked up, staring at Marcell's face with a sardonic look.

"Well By, you're still fierce with me, but don't you have a crush on me again, oh my By, don't do that." Marcell screeched, then his hand moved and patted his forehead with his palm.

Weeby then immediately choked up, forming her eyeballs into a ball. "A crush? My eyes would be in error if I had a crush on an annoying guy like you!" Weeby replied sarcastically to the point that it made Marcell smile even wider, he was most happy to make Weeby emotional like that.

"So what? Why have you been looking at me all this time? Do you want to sit with me again?" Marcell suspected; he raised his eyebrows and narrowed his eyes.

"Who? Nothing," Weeby replied quickly, and she immediately turned her face in the other direction. Her cheeks were already flushed with embarrassment.

"Are you sure you don't want to sit with a handsome guy like me?" Marcell was still investigating, he suddenly moved his face until it was right in front of Weeby's face.

"I won't and don't expect to!" Weeby said firmly, her small hand pushing Marcell's face away from her face. It really took Weeby's heart to sway.

"Oh yeah, there's Resti too, thanks By, thanks to your moving here. I can often joke with Resti. Then I'll go back to my seat, okay?" Marcell smiled broadly, while Weeby rolled her eyes lazily, she was really uncomfortable with all of Marcell's behavior.

Marcell sat back down on his bench, then he looked at Resti, who was busy with her cell phone. Marcell didn't know what Resti was playing until the girl didn't focus on Marcell's call that had been thrown three times.

"Resti," Marcell called again, this time accompanied by a gentle pat on the beautiful girl's shoulder.

Suddenly, Resti turned to Marcell, "Yes, why?" she asked.

"I didn't call you earlier, what's wrong?" Marcell was suddenly curious, and he leaned his face forward to look at Resti's cell phone. However, Resti hurriedly turned off the screen that was still on, she didn't let Marcell see.

"Why is it closed? I can't see it, can I?" Marcell then pursed his lips forward, pretending to sulk.

"It's private, so you can't see it, okay?" Resti placed her cell phone on the table.

"Yes, yes," Marcell replied listlessly, having no intention of speaking at all.

"You're angry with me," Resti said, chuckling softly as she pinched Marcell's cheek.

"Nope," Marcell replied briefly, folding his arms across his chest as he turned his body to face Resti.

"You're so cute when you're angry, I love seeing you." Resti chuckled lightly and punched Marcell's arm with her tiny hand.

Not long after, Marcell turned his body to face Resti and smiled crookedly.

Resti choked up, and her eyes were so wide that they looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets.

"Am I still cute?" asked Marcell, raising his thick eyebrows.

"No. Now you're being a pain in the ass." Resti snorted in annoyance, and Marcell's behavior as he ruffled her hair quickly made Resti suddenly sulk. How could he not? Now her straight hair looked chaotic and disheveled. Who wouldn't be annoyed if they were treated like that.

"I'm a pain in the ass from birth," Marcell chuckles, looking at Resti's sullen face.

"You can move if you don't want to be the victim of my antics," Marcell shooed her away.

"I don't want to, I feel comfortable sitting here, especially next to you," Resti replied convincingly.

"It's only the first day, you'll feel the sensation of sitting next to me."

Marcell lifted the corners of his lips up, creating a lopsided smile.

"Even though you're annoying, I like you," Resti said, smiling, her fingers pushing her hair back behind her earlobes.

"It's up to you, I'm just reminding you. I don't want to be like the girl who sat next to me before, she's just angry."

Marcell emphasized his words, and of course Weeby heard Marcell's words, which she felt were for her. Weeby knew that Marcell was being sarcastic.

Weeby chose to pretend not to know, she just rolled her eyes lazily.

"What happened to the girl sitting next to you?"

"She likes to get angry if I'm annoying, even though I'm also cute like this," Marcell said again, spontaneously looking at Weeby's seat. Marcell knew that Weeby must have heard his words.

"Yes, you are cute, I like it. But be less annoying. I'll also get angry if you overdo it," Resti explained in one breath. Weeby, who heard Resti's sentence, immediately sneered.

In a short time, when the break bell rang, Resti immediately left for the rooftop of the school because Gama, her boyfriend, was waiting for her there, he said he wanted to say something.

And now, Resti and Gama were standing face to face.

"So Gam, what's up?"

"I want us to break up!"

Resti immediately choked up, her mouth slightly wide open, because the horror sentence had just come out of her boyfriend Gama's mouth.

"What's wrong with you, Gam?" Resti's eyes were already teary, and she looked at Gama with a shady face. Resti still couldn't believe that Gama could break up with her unilaterally like this. Of course, Resti was hurt to hear it.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong, I just feel that we're not compatible anymore," Gama explained quickly. Gama didn't seem to think about how Resti felt this time.

"Are you bored with me already, Gam?" asked Resti again, she wanted to know why Gama was behaving like this. Resti still loved Gama more than anything. Therefore, when the word "goodbye" appeared, it made Resti's heart stop beating. Resti felt unsteady.

"Yes, that's one of the reasons," Gama answered honestly. His shoulders slumped. "I'm not coming back to you, so don't expect anything from me again." Ten seconds later, Gama walked out of Resti's presence, leaving her on the rooftop of the school. Resti could no longer hold back her tears, and her eyes could no longer hold back the clear liquid. And in the end, Resti cried, the tears falling smoothly down her smooth cheeks.

Resti then turned around and looked at Gama's back, which was getting farther and farther away. Resti could not bear all of this, she fell limp and eventually collapsed on the floor. Resti covered her face with both palms, sobs still escaping from her thin lips.

Then, Resti chose to return to class with her eyes still puffy. When she arrived at her seat, Marcell realized that something was wrong with Resti.

"Resti, have you been crying?"

Marcell asked Resti when he saw her returning to class with puffy eyes. Resti chose to remain silent, ignoring Marcell's question, and sat down in her seat with her head resting on the desk.

Marcell frowned, Resti's behavior now was very different from when she came out of the classroom fifteen minutes ago.

"You just cried, because of what? Your boyfriend, huh?" Marcell asked suspiciously, touching Resti's shoulder lightly.

"You're so noisy, can't you shut up?"

Resti's mind was still very muddled due to Gama asking for a breakup, especially now with Marcell's chatter. Resti was so annoyed that she didn't hesitate to yell at Marcell with sarcastic words.

Marcell was immediately choked up, he did not expect Resti to yell at him, really Resti's words just now flickered Marcell's pride, and his heart felt pinched. In fact, Weeby's anger that Marcell had been hearing was nothing compared to Resti's yelling just now. Her intentions were only good this time.

Marcell immediately lifted his hand that had been on Resti's shoulder, he suddenly became silent, then looked away in any direction.

Resti should not have behaved in such a way towards Marcell, nor should she have vented her anger at Marcell. This had absolutely nothing to do with that guy.

"I'm sorry, I've gone too far," Resti complained when she realized that the boy beside her chose to remain silent, with no sound coming from his mouth anymore. All she could hear was an exasperated sigh.

Marcell turned his head, his eyes and Resti's tail met for a moment, and soon Marcell tried to smile, even though Resti's hurtful words from a moment ago still hadn't subsided.

"Yeah, it's okay," Marcell replies briefly, he doesn't want to ask further questions, and Marcell just doesn't want Resti's emotions to peak again when he asks again. As a result, Marcell chose to lock his mouth tightly.

Nodding her chin twice, Resti's gaze now turned calm, staring downward. "I just broke up with my boyfriend," Resti said, with sadness still clearly visible on her face.

Marcell frowned, thinking for a moment, then two seconds later he said, "broke up? What's the problem about?"

"I don't know, I was broken up with unilaterally, and my heart hurts to accept this fact."

Resti moved her hand, and suddenly tears escaped from her eyes, Resti didn't want Marcell to see that, so she quickly wiped away the clear liquid that had fallen.

"Don't cry, he's not the only boy," Marcell says, trying to calm Resti, who has just fallen into a slump, and accepting the harsh reality.

"But I still love him," Resti says with a soft intonation, her voice hoarse as she sobs through her thin lips. For the second time, Resti wiped her cheeks as tears poured down her cheeks.

"Don't be sad anymore, Res, I'm also sad to see you. You just relax, there's still me."

Marcell patted Resti's chest repeatedly, suddenly becoming an overnight hero. Resti chose to agree with Marcell's words, she gave a small nod. Marcell's words were quite effective, at least the pain in her heart was a little less.

"After school, I'll treat you to some girl bread if you don't cry anymore," Marcell said in an innocuous way.

Resti immediately raised her head, which had been lowered, and now her eyes were fully exposed to Marcell.

"What do you mean?" Resti's brow furrowed, Marcell's words three seconds ago were ambiguous.

Marcell nodded enthusiastically, then straightened up. "Now that you're not sad anymore, I'll treat you."

Now that Resti is completely unaware that she has just broken up with Gama, Marcell's words make her even more curious. There were so many big questions in her head right now.

"What's the treat? I don't understand what you're talking about," Resti replies, half annoyed that Marcell is being so convoluted in voicing something.

Letting out a frustrated breath, Marcell returned his intense gaze to Resti after lazily rolling his eyes. "Bread, I'll buy you bread."

"Bread?" Resti raised one eyebrow, still not catching on to what Marcell was saying. Resti was already getting annoyed because she didn't understand.

"That's right, PMS girls usually buy bread."

After digesting for three seconds, Resti understood what Marcell had said. She immediately rounded her eyes wide, then continued with an annoyed snort.

"Euw, you're really annoying," Resti grumbled as she pinched Marcell's arm. Marcell, who received the pinch, chuckled and groaned in pain.

"But I'm still handsome, right?" Marcell winked at Resti with his left eye, and shortly after he did so, he showed her a row of white teeth that looked neatly arranged.

"Yes, just so you're happy," Resti replied lazily.

"I've been handsome since I was an embryo, you know," Marcell sneers, folding his arms.

"Never mind, do you really want to buy me bread?" Resti grinned and threw two fingers in the air to form the letter 'V'.

Marcell chuckled, "okay, deal!"
