"If so then it is my turn next." Goblin Queen’s eyes which were originally red were now glowing green, and a bright light was shining from her iris.
And her whole body glowed with the same green color.
Her green hair rose up, and was flowing behind her.
It was as if the wind was blowing against her, but there was no wind, and the trees and the flowers around us were all still.
It was a weird phenomenon, but no one seemed to care.
’I don’t know what the deal is, but the situation has really gone out of hand.’
Now, I should just get out of the way and not get caught up in this fight.
I will just enjoy the fight, and cheer for Ella.
’Come on, Ella. Show her who’s the boss.’
’Show her that you are stronger than her.’
’But that is only possible if the queen could let go of my arm.’

"Amm..." I tapped my finger on Green Queen’s shoulder, and her attention was drawn towards me.
"Can you let go of my arm? It hurts."
"Oh, sorry." Goblin Queen’s grip loosened, and her fingers opened, freeing my hand from her grasp.
"Thanks." I smiled, and took a few steps backward.
Now that I had freed myself from the clutches of the goblin queen, I could sit back and enjoy the show.
’Now, let’s see who wins this fight. I bet on Ella.’

"Well then," The Queen turned her attention back to Ella. "It is time for us to finish our little chat."
Her whole body was glowing green, and her eyes were burning with the same color.
And, her voice resonated throughout the air.
Her eyes were cold, and her gaze was sharp.
She was angry.
Very, very, angry.
"I will give you one last chance." Goblin Queen spoke, her voice was firm. "Surrender."
"Hmph!" Ella snorted. "As if. I will never surrender."
Unlike Queen’s body, Ella’s body wasn’t glowing.
Instead, she was burning with green flames, it was covering her body, and it was blazing, and crackling.
"Then, you are dead."
After the queen said that, a silence descended upon the area, and the air around us froze.
No one moved.
No one said a word.
The whole place was covered by an eerie silence.
’Hmm...’
What is this?
Why isn’t anyone saying anything?
And why haven’t they started their fight yet?
’Did they forget how to fight or something?’
And then both Ella and Goblin Queen turned their head toward me.
"Huh?"
"What is it?" I asked, and Goblin Queen’s face softened, and her gaze became gentle.
"We can’t fight here," Ella said, and Goblin Queen agreed.
"Yeah, we can’t fight here. We should go somewhere else."
’What?’
’Huh?’
’Why? Why can’t they fight here?’

...are they trying to protect me from getting hurt or something?

"Okay, let’s move to a different place," Ella said and with a burst of green fire on her toes she shot up into the sky.

"Don’t worry, Rael. I will return soon." The Goblin Queen said and her body started to levitate in the air.
Unlike Ella who jumped into the air, she was floating.
"No, wait." I tried to stop her.
’If you leave, I won’t be able to watch you fight. So, don’t leave.’
’I need to see you fight. I need to see your powers, and how much stronger you are compared to Ella.’
"Huh?" Goblin Queen blinked her eyes, and a frown formed on her forehead. "Are you trying to protect that girl? By stopping me?"
’Yeah. I mean no. I just...’
’Shit. Now, I made her angry again. But, it is her fault. Why does she have to go away? I can’t watch her fight if she goes. This is not fair.’
’What should I say?’
’Uhh... Let’s see.’
"No, I just wanted to say take care of yourself and be careful. And, please, don’t do anything rash, and try not to hurt each other."
