A loud explosion occurred once again and I turned around to see a huge ball of fire burning the sky.
The fireball was getting bigger and bigger, and it was so hot that it was melting the ground and turning it into lava.
"Rael, get back. I will handle this."
Yoonhe’s voice pulled me out of my trance.
I looked at her and her eyes were sharp, and her body was glowing.
She had changed.
It wasn’t like before when she needed me to help her out.
But, now, she was different.
She was a completely different person.
She looked strong, and she had changed.
Her clothes were torn, and her body was covered in sweat and dust.
She was standing next to me and was facing the fireball.
Her feet were on the ground and her eyes were focused on the fireball.
Her body was glowing silver light, but that wasn’t the case with her clothes.
They were torn, and her shirt had been ripped and her body was covered in dirt.
But, that didn’t stop her from being beautiful.
She was even more beautiful than before.
Her hair had grown longer, and it was shining silver, and her eyes were blue, and her face was pale, her skin was white, and her lips were pink.
"Hold on to me tight." She said, her voice was low and soft, and she was looking at me.
"Wha—"
"Just do it."
"O-ok."
I moved my hand to her waist and held on to her tightly.
Her body was warm, and I could feel her heartbeat.
And, she smelled really nice.
Like vanilla and cherry blossom.
"Hmph!"
She snorted and her eyes flashed a bright blue light.

And, my right eye started to show me some details about the fireball which was getting bigger and bigger.
And it was just about to reach us when...
...the scene in front of me changed.

A bright white light blinded my vision, and everything went white.

I looked around.
The scene had changed, and the ground was different.
I was now standing on grass, and there were some slides for kids around me.
"Are you okay?"
I turned around, and there was Yoonhe, and she was looking at me, her eyes were sharp, and her face was flushed.
"Did you teleport us away?"
"Yeah, something like that."
"I can’t believe you can teleport, too. That is just amazing."
"You really think so?"
"Of course, I do. And, thank you, for saving me. You really saved my life."
"It’s no problem. It is my duty to protect you."
"Huh?"
"What?"
"What do you mean?"
"N-nothing." She stuttered and looked away.
"Oh, okay. So, where are we, by the way?" I asked.
"We are at a park, and we are quite far from your house."
"I see," I answered and looked toward the explosion, and saw a huge pillar of smoke rising in the sky.
’Oh, shit.’
Suddenly, in the midst of the pillar, I saw a figure.
It was falling toward the ground at a fast speed.
Black smoke was left in its trail.
And, that figure was...
"Mom!"
I yelled, and ran toward her, and Yoonhe followed.
But, I wasn’t fast enough.
The distance between us was too large.
"Mom!"
’No, this can’t be happening. Not again.’
I stopped and turned toward Yoonhe and grabbed her by shoulders.
"Please, save my mother."
I begged, tears were flowing down my cheeks, and my body was trembling.
"Please, she is my mother."
I pleaded, and looked her straight in the eyes.
"Sorry, but I can’t."
Yoonhe replied, and her face was emotionless, and her voice was cold.
"Why?"
"Because, I can’t. The teleportation has a cooldown of 15 minutes, and I can’t use it anymore.
"Damn!"

Suddenly, a scream came.

I looked at the place where the pillar of smoke was coming from, and saw a huge black shadow flying in the air.
It was heading toward me.

It was the Demonic Sword, and he was flying straight toward me.
His voice was loud and clear, and it was echoing through the air.
"I will kill you."
He raised his black sword, and pointed it at me.
"And, I will devour your soul."
And, I was frozen.
I was too stunned to move.
On one hand, my mother was falling toward the ground, and on the other, the Demon was coming to kill me.
’What do I do?’

’Why is this happening to me?’

My mind was a mess, and I couldn’t think straight.
My heart was pounding, and I could feel the sweat rolling down my forehead.
’Shit.’
Then, I saw someone stepping in front of me, and her silver hair was blowing in the wind.
It was Yoonhe.
She had a small smile on her face, her hands were stretched in front of her, and her body was glowing.
"Yoonhe?"
"Rael,"
She started, and spoke, her voice was low, and she was facing the demon.
"You should run, now."
Run?
She is asking me to run.
Then...
What about her?
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
And, my mind became clearer.
’Fuck.’
’I can’t leave her behind.’
’I will not leave her.’
"Sorry, but I can’t run."
I clenched my fist and opened my eyes.
"Huh? Why?"
"I can’t just leave you behind. This is my fight and I should be the one to finish it." I pushed Yoonhe aside and stepped forward.
