The team of Supernaturals gathered around,preparing to face the last of the Alpha Hellhounds.
They all were in a happy mood,glad that the crises was getting over. Abel who was happy the most,tried striking up a conversation with everyone but couldn't keep up.
AJ frowned,her ears tingling. Her Supernatural sense was kicking in again.
"Alpha Hellhounds. They're two in number but they're leading about a thousand Hellhounds right into this town" she said,her eyes shining for a moment then dying down.
The team, unsurprised by this but alarmed with the numbers,gathered around,ready to choose a plan.
"We all know explosions kill those things" Darak said,floating in the air.
"Yeah,so we keep blowing them up" Abel added.
"But what about the Alphas?" Beta Cole asked.
"Don't worry,Lanre can eliminate them" Alpha Alfred assured,patting the referred on his shoulder.
"No I ain't. That thing drained 70% of my energy. That's why I called the Demigods. They have divine ice which can take them down" Lanre replied,shoving the Alpha's arm off him.
Sharon just kept quiet,staring at them as they argued. They all reminded her of the moments she shared with her brothers. Despite all of these,she only knew of one thing…The Chaos Wolves were behind it and they'll be back, especially for Abel.
A hand,cool as ice,landed on her shoulder,slipping her back into consciousness. She looked backwards and saw Abel who smiled encouragingly.
"Don't worry. I promise your brothers would be back" he assured,stroking her shoulder.

"Oh,Okay" Sharon said,staring at the brown,leather table set before her. She looked at Evelyn again and decided to ask her a question. One that had really been bugging her mind.
"Is it weird that I feel aroused when Abel touches me?" She blurted,not minding the fact she was talking to Abel's mother.
Evelyn placed her cup down and smiled. She was expecting this kind of question from her since she knew how much Sharon and Abel were close.
"Is that lust?" She asked,looking at the younger woman.
"No. It's not like I really feel aroused but just being around him drives me insane." She replied.
"Okay. You get calm or anxious when you're with Abel right?" Evelyn asked.
"Yes" Sharon replied.

Sharon just stared at her blankly,thoughts of disbelief running through her mind. She accepted the older woman's advice but she couldn't just pinpoint her feelings for Abel. She got up,thanked Evelyn and left the house.

With another punch,the Hellhound's head exploded into tiny shards of ice.
The girl on the other hand rolled her Trident,her eyes shining like a crystal reflecting light. She hit it on the floor, releasing a wave of ice that broke it into pieces.
"My work here is done" she said,walking up to the team who stood behind her all the while.
"We have to leave now guys" Dele said,standing behind AJ.
"I'm sorry guys but this is urgent" he pleaded and they understood.
"One thing Sango" Abel said,stopping him.
"What?" Dele asked, already knowing his request.
"Could you teleport awesomely again? I love it" he said.
"Okay but my team also have awesome teleportation skills" Dele replied.
"Okay guys,let's give them a show" AJ yelled.
The boy(Deji) and the girl(Yetunde) struck their weapons on the ground. Water flowed from underneath and covered them in a flash of light and they were gone.
AJ stamped her right foot on the ground,a large pearl covered her and with the twinkle of an eye,she was gone.
Stella snapped her fingers and lightning struck her,leaving an empty spot behind.
Dele at last took his axe,threw it up and screamed "Sangooooo". Lightning from the sky struck him and he was gone that instance.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but that was awesome" Alpha Alfred said,clapping.
"Let's all go home. We've had a long week and we deserve a good night's rest" Osborne said,turning to leave.
"Actually,I'm going home" Lanre announced,shocking everyone especially Abel.
"Why bro?" Abel asked.
"I feel a call. I feel my redemption. I have to leave" Lanre replied,placing his palm on his shoulder.
"But if you need me…Take this and rub it" he added,giving Abel and black ring.
"I really need you bro. You've been really helpful" Abel protested, frowning.
"See Abel. You've got a family. Look around. There's your mom,Darak,Sharon,Drake,Drex,Alpha Alfred,Beta Cole,Mrs Dyche and Osborne…The clan master.
Even if you feel you can't do it,remember you're the Multibreed, you've got a destiny and you have to fulfill it" Lanre said.
His speech brought out encouraging looks from the team.
"Bro,you can do this. You are the MULTIBREED" he said and his legs began to fade away.
"What's happening?" Abel asked.
"Don't worry. It's my calling. I've got to go now but remember…You are the MULTIBREED." With that said,Lanre faded from existence.
"I guess so" Abel said,feeling dejected yet encouraged by Lanre's words.
"Don't worry. We're here with you" Darak said, pulling him into a warm embrace.
"Yes, we're with you" the rest chorused,all joining in the embrace,turning it into a family hug.
