Cassidy and Veronica had finally returned to the designated rendezvous point, a small inn near the entrance. Everyone except for Seraph were there. She must've been looking for a contract to go back home or something.
"Finally, you're back. What were you doing? Visiting a brothel?" Avaris said with sarcasm.
"Yep!" Cassidy answered without any fear, just simply confidence.
"I uh... I was joking..."
The girls were silent for a moment. The silence was a bit stifling.
"So, did you do it inside or out?" Kazue asked Veronica.
"Uh... what?" Veronica asked in response, not entirely sure what Kazue meant.
"When you came, was it inside or outside?"
"Oh... oh! Uh... in... inside." Veronica answered, embarrassed that she practically admitted that she was just with a prostitute.

Kazue and Cassidy stated laughing up a storm, as if they already knew.

"Ah! Haven't seen her in a while." Kazue responded, ignoring Veronica's question.

The room continued to be silent as they quietly shamed Veronica for being a bit too careless.

In all honesty, Seraph had no idea what was happening and simply decided to just roll with whatever is happening. This seems like it might be a more common occurrence than she thought.
