Twin Heroes

"Twin Heroes" by Gu Long tells the story of Jiang Feng, a handsome martial artist injured during an escapade. He is rescued by the powerful sisters Yaoyue and Lianxing of the Palace of Shifting Flowers. Both sisters fall for Jiang Feng, but he rejects their advances due to their haughtiness, instead loving their servant, Hua Yuenu. Forced to flee the Palace after Hua's pregnancy, they are betrayed by Jiang Feng's servant, Jiang Biehe, and attacked by bandits. During their desperate flight, Hua gives birth to twin boys but dies alongside Jiang Feng during a bandit assault. Yaoyue, still holding a grudge, vows revenge by forcing the twins to destroy each other. She adopts one boy and abandons the other. The abandoned twin is found by Yan Nantian, Jiang Feng's sworn brother and a renowned martial artist. Unaware of the first twin's whereabouts, Yan Nantian hunts Jiang Biehe to Villains' Valley, a criminal stronghold. After defeating five of the Ten Great Villains, he falls into their trap and is tortured into unconsciousness. The villains, sparing the second boy, train him to become history's greatest villain.
