“What is the meaning of this?” Amelia asked, and there was a hint of anger in her voice. Amelia looked at Erin, who still didn't leave the man's top.
“Mom, can you leave us for now? I will talk to you once I'm done.” Erin asked, which made Amelia couldn't believe that Erin spoke those words. Amelia didn't say anything and left Erin's house too fast.
Amelia was outraged by what she had seen. She couldn't believe that her daughter would do those nasty things in her house, which Leo had bought. Amelia gasped when she went into her car and smacked the steering wheel.
Amelia knew that Leo and Erin weren't intimate, but she knew that Erin was in love with Lwo, and she didn't even think that Erin would do those things. Amelia felt scared that Leo might discover what Erin had done. She wanted to ensure one could know what her daughter was doing behind Leo's back.
While she was thinking, Amelia's phone vibrated, and she saw that it was Sophia. She gripped her phone before she answered Sophia's phone call.
“Auntie…” Sophia was crying. Amelia didn't know what had happened to Sophia, but she felt that something terrible happened that Sophia decided to call her in an instant. “Dad is dead. We are here in the cremation room because it is one of his wills that after he announces death, he will be cremated in an instant.”
Amelia's mouth hung open. She wanted to jump in so much joy, but she stopped herself because Sophia might hear her.
“Sophia, what are you talking about? What did Robert die?” Amelia wanted to make sure that everything was right. She closed her eyes when Sophia kept sobbing before she answered.
“When we aren't here in the hospital. He got a heart attack again. The doctor informed me that he was dead when I went here to the hospital. They were preparing his cremation because it was part of my father's last will that he wanted to be cremated because he didn't want us to see his dead body.” Sophia told Amelia everything, and Amelia felt glad that she didn't need to see Robert's body, or else she would mock him and spill everything she had done against him.
Sophia kept crying, and Amelia tapped the muted speaker because she didn't want Sophia to hear that she was too happy.
Amelia got out of her car and went back to Erin's house. She saw Erin wearing her clothes while the man with the mask did the same.
“Erin, congratulations. You are finally the true owner of our company!” Amelia announced, without even thinking that there was a man with Erin.
Erin widened her eyes, she moved closer to Amelia, and held Amelia's hand.
“Mom, what are you talking about? I don't understand.” Erin was confused. She didn't want to assume what Amelia had been saying to her.
“Robert is dead. You are finally the owner of our company! Congratulations, my dear.” Amelia exclaimed and hugged Erin with so much joy. Erin was surprised that she jumped happily.
The man who was with them made sure that Sophia would see that Erin was jumping with so much joy. He swallowed and felt disgusted that he needed sex with Erin.
Erin might be known as the model, but he didn't like it because she was sure Erin wasn't too good. If Sophia didn't pay him a higher price, maybe he would rather kill himself than have sex with Erin.
“Mom, are you sure that he's dead? Oh my!” Erin looked at the man who was watching them. She grinned pleasantly when she went to the man and embraced him. The man was stunned but managed his composure not to push Erin away from him.
Amelia groaned and pulled Erin away from the man who had the mask. She didn't know why the man was too important to her daughter that she even risked her marriage for him.
When the man left, Amelia could breathe properly. She pulled Erin into her bed and sat down beside her.
“Erin, aren't you scared I might catch you doing this thing? I don't understand why you're doing this. Honey, you finally got the company, and the bonus is you are married to Leopold Fontaine. Are you crazy?” Amelia stopped herself from hitting her stupid daughter.
Erin chuckled and took the napkin to wipe her sweat. “Mom, don't think I'm not using my brain now. That man is the one who lends me money. Aside from that, he's so good in bed; he is rich too!”
Amelia's mouth hung open. She didn't know why she should react because she was still afraid that Leo might learn about what Erin had been doing. Amelia swallowed when she saw Erin's happiness whenever she mentioned that man.
