Chapter 38: Peaceful at Last

Wisdom’s POV

Days have passed since we figured out it was Gerry Grace and Dyana Stevens who have been messing our life all along.

‘How could I not think that?’ I scolded myself for not being able to think of them as the primary suspects. It’s a good thing that the police arrived the moment I discerned that Denver is alive and is smiling just across the room where Gerry is standing.

And they captured him of course.

“So, that was their plan then,” I faced Denver who’s now wide awake in the hospital bed. “To kill you and frame me for killing you.” Denver clicked his tongue and stroked my fingers. I squeezed his hand and placed a kiss on his forehead. “Get well soon, sweetheart.”

He smiled as sweet as honeydew. “What happened to them?”

“They…”

“They what?”

“When the two were found out as the stalkers, as the perpetrators, they fled the country but were eventually involved in a fatal car accident on their way.”

“I don’t think that’s just a car accident,” Denver hissed.

“What do you mean ‘not just a car accident’, Denver?” I swallowed my words and brace myself for whatever he may say.

“It’s called karma.” We burst into a cackle. I thought he was the one who ordered it to be honest. Our laugh echoed in the Emergency Room, earning us a look from the nurses and other patients.

“Yes, it’s indeed called karma.” We paused for a breath, silence humming between us. Our eyes met, setting ablaze to our already burning emotions. My gaze slid to the bulge between his legs and my hand was about to lay on top of it when—

“Not now, Wisdom.”

“Tomorrow then,” I purred like a cat who can’t wait to play with the balls.

Denver sat but I insisted him not to. “Remember your question before Gerry brought hell upon us?”

My brows arched, not because I denied asking it, but because I was trying to remember what I asked. I can't remember what happened before I found Denver unconscious in the pool. All I can recall is me trying to be alive and keeping Denver out of Gerry’s reach,

“Your question about ‘Why, of all the women I bedded, why you? Why marry you? Why love you? Why choose you as my Mrs. Denver Giordano?’...”

An ‘oh’ escaped my mouth. I feel a little bit awkward because I am just being emotional at that time. “I just want to hear from your very lips on why me?”

“Do you know why?” My shoulders stayed still when Denver’s word reverberated in my ears.

“Wh—Why?”

He inhaled first before laying his beautiful eyes upon me. “Because there is no other person who was named Wisdom Linnea Weisz. No one, except—“

“Except me.” Cherry blossoms showered before me as I fathomed that…he loved me for who I am. He didn’t love me because I was good at bed or because I have big boobs. He didn’t love me because I was his hired wife or paid lover. He loved me in all of my curves and imperfections, my flaws and beautiful soul.

“I love you more, Denver.” I said with my tears cascading to his palms.

“Every tear you cry, I shall keep it.” He curled his hands in a graceful motion, “Every smile you give me, I shall smile upon it. Every kiss you gave me, I shall cherish it. Every time your body bounced on top of me, I shall treasure it.” He stroked my face with his hand, his thumb touched my lips. I just stared at him in all the whiteness of the hospital bed. “And every time you breathe, Wisdom Linnea Weisz-Giordano…I shall breathe with you.”

“So was I, Denver Mikhail Giordano,” I beamed at the man who was the present of my future—our future, along with the twins in my womb that are soon to greet the world. “So was I…”

Denver’s POV

“My love for you is like the moon, Wisdom,” I breathed into her ears as I halted at her entrance.

Then in a kiss, I went inside as fast and as gentle, my movement a decadent motion.

“Sometimes it’s half, often it's a quarter. Rarely do you see me at all like the new moon. But in all times, it’s full.” She howled as I began to thrust inside. Unable to keep her mouth shut, I grinned. “I am the moon to your night, Linnea. You may often not see me shining but I assure you, I am always there to brighten your darkest of times.”

“Indeed, we fit together like puzzle pieces,” I got it out and she devoured my flesh as if she was the predator.

“Let me be your prey, my love.” So she did. She climbed on top of me, exposing her beauty and graceful nakedness. I am cornered by my beautiful predator. How could I resist?

“You are the triangle and I am the circle,” she murmured between my lips as his eyes glanced at the wholeness of my flesh.

“Thank you Denver,” she moved and bounced. “For completing me.” Her body’s movement is exquisite. Our previous lovemaking probably contributed to her performance now. “For being the best thing that has ever happened to me.” She was now riding fast, on top of my body, over my naked body. “For being the half of my soul,” then Linnea immersed in a wild sexual up-and-down. It’s a good thing the radio’s playing to mask our bodies' sound every moment it meets.

“No honey,” I said as she spread her legs a bit. “Your soul is always complete. It is just I that showed you to never forget to love yourself as a whole.” She chortled before turning around. Twerking and leaning, moving and bouncing. “My heart calls out for you, Mikhail. My lips long for you. My core misses the taste of you, miss the feeling of being full on the inside. I like the way you make me feel, even when you are not around. You are my favorite distraction, my handsome husband.”

“Oh really?” I grabbed her waist and sat on our fluffy bed. We’re back at my penthouse because, first of all, this is where most of our love story takes place. She paused and just let me do what the nature of two people having sex do. “You are the crayons to my book of life. You color me with all your colors and shades.”

“Enough of the sweetness, Denver.” I can now clearly see the fire in her eyes. “I’ve fallen for you and I can’t get up. I’m crazy for you, or maybe just ‘crazy’ crazy. So, let’s get wild, shall we?”

“You and I are a Love Boat, and our love is the vast ocean.” Wisdom rolled her eyes upon hearing more of my sweet words.

“Love is being silly together, being wild together. Life would be boring without you. You are a daydream in my eyes and a sexy nightmare on my bed. You take my breath away, you make my dick sway. Since you’ve been around I smile a lot more than I used to. Since you’ve been around, my cock gets harder a lot more than I used to.”

“Ohh…”We both stopped and faced each other when she spoke. “Sweet and spicy, eh?”

“I sometimes just call to hear your voice and to let my little snake here know how lovely even your voice is. Your voice is my favorite sound because I got to know how your moans sound like.”

Wisdom slapped me in a soft manner. “Keep going.”

“With my sweet love confession monologue?”

She gave me a middle finger. “Are we having sex or are we having a soliloquy competition?”

I laid her at the end of the bed, drilling her in a butterfly position. Savage but manly, Wisdom covered her mouth to refrain from bellowing. “Oh Dennie...you always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.”

“Like this?” I grinned like a wolf, doing her hot and smooth. She howled and moaned and barked a curse. My dick swam deeper inside her, reaching the womb of her ocean.

“Oh Denver…” After a few repetitions of ‘Oh Denver’, after a few minutes of just ‘Keep going, love’, I watched my wife’s whole body in nakedness as she laid on the bed, arms and legs wide.

“Let me rest for a minute,” she pleads.
