Chapter SIXTY-TWO

Janel and I walk to the shop while talking and laughing. It's a good thing he doesn't have a walk now so he can bond with me somehow. Since I came back from Taiwan, we have become even closer. We became more open with each other and we often bonded.

“It's nice to go for a walk at this time. The sun is going down and it's nice to see the darkness and light taking over,” I said while smiling and looking around.

"Mia," Janel called my name softly so I turned to her.

"Why?"

"Do you really love Jr.?" he asked me so I stopped but immediately continued walking.

"Of course, and I'm thankful because he's the first one I loved." I smiled and looked at her and she did the same. "My first love was not wasted because I was loved back even once hurt but came back and waited."

"She loves you to Mia," Janel said. "I witness how he used to cry when talking to papa." I stopped walking again so she also stopped.

"Crying?" I asked incredulously.

"Yes, he blames himself for why that happened to you. If he hadn't left to leave you, you wouldn't have been like that,” she replied and then continued. "He always felt sorry for you but couldn't do anything for you," she added.

I just gasped at what Janel said. I didn't think that Jr. went through that before. Not even one of them told me. But I also understood why that was. How could they tell me what they were going through if in those days I had no one to listen to but myself?

I have no other concern but my own feelings and look at them all as enemies.

“So you can't blame papa if he really trusts him that much, because even though he is paralyzed, he sees everything that Jr. did. He was the one who stood up for what papa should have done. And papa sees that Jr doesn't really give up even though he knows that you love someone else.”

"Janel, do you think Jr. and I are meant to be?" Out of nowhere I suddenly asked.

"Yes," she said while laughing. “By the way, where is your ex? We didn't even know each other until you broke up. Then you didn't even tell me about him.”

I laughed at Janel's question. I didn't think they would notice Dylan either.

"What was his name then?" he asked.

"Dylan." She nodded. “ I didn't know where he is now. When we broke up that was the last time we talked. When I was in Taiwan, I called his number but it can't be reached.” I explained.

“We are also very indebted to him, right? Because think about how he also helped me in my studies.”

“Hmph! Dylan is kind, Janel. Not in the eyes of others because of the kind of income he has, the two of us. But I who was with him can say that he is a good person. In fact, I was ready to give myself up to him then and start a family with him. But he didn’t want to because he didn’t want to force us into something we were both unprepared for. He does not want our future children to be like us.”

“It's good that he's good, isn't he? Because if not, you and brother Jr. really have no hope.”

“Yes, that's why he calls me weird. Because I often make too hasty decisions without thinking.” I then remembered his advice to me then. The advice that often strikes me. Someone I remember where he is now.

"Why didn't you introduce him to us?"

“We are both embarrassed, I wasn't open before and I didn’t want to let you know. I just don't want to embarrass Dylan when I introduce him to you and maybe you don't like him.”

“That's what you thought that is why you didn’t let us know,” she said. "We understand you if you think like that but it's just a pity that we don't know him."

"Did you appreciate what I was doing?"

“Of course, just in case I can meet your ex again, I would say thanks to him for helping you and me. Because if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be able to continue my studies.” Suddenly he approached me and shook my hand. "Thank you Mia for everything, thank you for all the sacrifices that you've done for us."

I messed up her hair.

"If you're in my position, you'll do the same so don't thank me."

We continued to the bubble shop. But just a short distance away we saw Marla fighting with two ladies. We quickly got ahead of Janel's run to appease her.

"Marla, enough," Janel yelled at Marla when we caught up with them.

"Don't stop me, Janel, I'm going to kill this bitches." But even when Marla is surrounded, she is still not defeated and even more so she does not give up. She has three enemies.

"Let me go!" a woman holding Marla's hair shouted.

“You also! Marla reached for the woman with one hand. The woman immediately used her fist to hit her face so she was immediately pushed back.

"My God, Marla, let them go," I stopped but she didn't listen to me.

"Enough, Marla, I don't want to fight!" cry of the woman she was tweaking who was on the floor prostrate.

"You're so ugly, you're spreading gossip. You have to be brought to consciousness so you can learn to choose who you should fight!” Marla shouted furiously.

“That's enough!” I shouted, but he really didn't seem to want to stop because he was expecting a kick from the other woman every time he approached and tightened his grip on the woman's hair on the floor even more.

“You already hit me,” said the woman on the floor.

"That's not enough, I'm going to break your stinky mouth.

The door of the shop opened and Jr. and Clark entered one after the other and quickly approached Marla.

"Love, what is that?" Clark waved at his girlfriend.

“What, what is that? can't you see I'm fighting?” Marla replied annoyed.

"Marla, that's enough." Jr. was also abducted.

“Oh, you’re here, do you know why we’re in such a mess? Because of you." Jr. and I looked at each other and then I looked at the women one by one. They look older than me and wearing sexy dresses.

"Why me?" Jr. asked.

"These three are your fans and the many things that are said about Mia and your relationship."

I removed my hand as I held Marla. I don’t know what to say because of what I’ve heard. So, we are the reason why she's in this trouble?
