Chapter SIXTY-THREE

"All right, let her go," Jr. ordered Marla.

"Slap her first."

"Janel," I begged Janel to shut up immediately.

"Marla let her go," I said calmly to Marla.

She reluctantly let go of the woman but she still chased after her with a kick.

“What is that rumor, Loth? You still spreading nonsense rumors as if you can rice for it.” Clark asked angrily.

“Why, are we the one started, Clark? Don't be mad at us because we just heard that rumor.”

"Talk about what?" I asked, but none of them answered and they just stared at Jr.

"Go," Jr. ordered the women to immediately get ready to leave.

"Just a moment." I stop them. "Talk about what?" the woman looked at me first before speaking.

"You cheated on Jr when he was in another country to exchange for a pusher but after you got disgusted and thrown away, you came back to …… ouch!" she didn't finish what she was going to say when Marla slapped her.

"You really said it."

"She asked, are you abnormal?"

I just sighed and look at Jr.

“Don't be mad at us, Mia, we didn't gossip about you. Yes, we talked about it as friends, but we were the only three of us who talked. Your saleswoman is just a hotheaded”

“What do you call it, not gossip? That's why you haven't achieved anything in your lives because you only prioritize gossip,” Marla added.

"You go, Loth." Clark drives away the three women.

"We don't have—--"

"Go away!" Jr.'s shout surprised us all even me. The three women quickly turned pale and left without looking back.

"Prostitute," Marla shouted as they left the shop. "If you will buy here, I will poison you."

"Mia, don't mind what they said." I smiled softly at Janel then looked at Jr. who was still standing. But his face immediately improved when he saw me.

"Don't think about what they're saying, as long as we know what's true," he said calmly and without a trace of shouting before.

‘Is it enough so that I will not be affected?’

I wanted to say that, but I didn't continue and the only answer was a sigh and then sitting down.

"Mia, don't say you're going to affect those?" Marla's face was still red and definitely because of anger, even at night, I could still see it because of the light.

"Mia," Jr. called to me.

“It's not like that, I know that gossip is attached to our lives. But I just didn't know that there was a gossip about me.”

“Don't think about them, Mia, they don't feed you. They aren't there to help you during the times when you were down,” Clark said.

"Yes Mia, please don't mind them because they see you've already reached something, while them still great gossip around the corner."

"You're a war freak, you can just drive them away but you beat them." Clark scolds the girlfriend.

“I am angry with the k-drama I watched, I can't get inside and fight there. When I heard them, I immediately released my annoyance with them.” Marla was laughing a bit.

"You OK?" Jr. asked me.

“Can you accompany me home? Let's talk in the garden.” He nodded in response. Instead of Janel and I are planning to bond. I go home to talk to Jr.

WE SIT on the grass. He was positioned behind me as I leaned against him. I could feel him smelling my hair as he caressed my shoulder.

"Are you still affected by what happened earlier?" I just nodded in response.

He straightened up and faced me.

“Don't think about that, it's not important. You, me, and your family. Clark said they don't contribute to us so we don't need their opinion.”

He touched my face and then confessed to our foreheads.

"Do you know where Clark and I came from?"

I was surprised and then shook my head and then I noticed that he had snatched something from his pocket.

"I have already asked your family's permission so now I will ask you." I was a little nervous about his actions. Looks like something important is going to happen tonight.

“I know it's not as spectacular as what you see or as beautiful as what you see. It may not be your dream either but I want you to know that I am sincere in what I want to happen.”

He then took out the ring and placed it in front of me.

“Mia, I want to be with you for life. I want to sympathize with your sadness and joy. I want to be a part of your life. Stay by my side to witness your happiness and sympathize with your sorrow. I want to see you every day and be with you from waking to sleep. I want you to use my last name so that I can tell you that you are really mine and that no one else can take you.”

"Mia, will you marry me?" he asked while smiling.

"Are you sure about this?" I'm crying because the truth is I don't know how I feel right now.

"So sure."

Instead of answering, I cried first. I just remember everything Jr. and I went through. How we started, separated, and got back together and now he asks me to get married. A lot happened as we went through, and now we will end up at a happy destination.

“I love you so much Jr. I love you so much Jose Jacinto Jr. and my answer is yes.” he wiped away my tears and then put the ring on my finger.

“I promise Mia, from now on I will take care of you. You will no longer cry and you will no longer be sad because of me. I will make you happy in our daily and if there is any sadness we will both overcome it no matter what happens.”

Is this the meaning of my dream, Jr. and I will get married?

"As long as you live with me, Mia, by your side, in your heart, as long as you have this ring I will never be lost by your side, promise." Then he kissed my forehead. "Just you until the end."
