ARAIA’S P.O.V
Alpha Alejandro handed me the same cloth that contains the deal that he’s talking about.
He didn’t say anything after he gave it to me so I read it.
Hmm…
I thought it’s a deal to become his FuBu but what’s in the contract is all about me being one of his personal maids.
I didn’t know that being a personal maid needs to have a contract first.
Well, everything seems fine! It is stated that all I have to do is to serve the Alpha when he calls for me. I’ll get protection from him as I am one of his direct subordinates like Geronimo but of course Geronimo’s not like me.
It says I can live luxury – wait, does being a personal maid usually have these things?
Next, the salary is quite high and I have a rest day. Oh wow. I like it.
In the end, I signed the contract.
“Great. You’ll start tomorrow.”
“Yes Alpha.”
He left after getting the contract.
Phew…
Now I’m Alpha’s personal maid and I’ll start tomorrow. I need to focus and when I get my salary, I will search for a way to get back to my home.
That’s right!
“I’ll do it little by little…”
I read a few more books before I called in a day.

“Hey, walk faster.” Geronimo teased me.
“Hmp!”
I heard his laugh but I ignored him.
We’re now traveling and because I’m used to going with the other maids, I’m not used to walking fast.
Geronimo made fun of me because I was almost left behind.
Thankfully the other guards that I’m with didn’t harass me like what others do. They’re kind to me and they’re guiding me.
“Just keep up with your pace so you won’t get tired easily.” Harold, one of Alpha’s guards advised.
“I will, thank you!”
We departed early in the morning and now according to them, we’re halfway there to Alpha’s village.
I’m a little nervous as I’m finally seeing Alpha’s home and I’m not sure how I’m going to fit in in that new environment.
I just hope that they’re kind…
I like how everyone treats me ever since I became Alpha’s personal maid. I will pray every night for them not to change…
After a few hours of walking we are now in front of a huge arc. A lot of soldiers lined up, giving way to us.
Woah. Is this Alpha Alejandro’s?
They are all wearing metal armor with a sharp spear on their hands.
Those look legit!
I was in awe while we were passing those soldiers, no one moved and no one batted an eye. That is why I made sure that I stick to the group and not make a mistake. Prevention is better than cure, they say.
We walked for a few minutes until we reached a mansion at the center of the village. The exterior is extravagant, you will not mistake it for another werewolf’s house because it’s the only house that has this design in this village, you will know that this is the home of the Alpha at first sight.
My jaw dropped when I saw what’s inside this mansion, everything looks beautiful and it has a lively atmosphere compared to Alpha Alejandro’s.
Is this really his house?
Everyone gathered at the main hall of the mansion, they say that Alpha Alejandro will say something and he does this every time he goes back home.
There are lots of maids and soldiers, I can also see Giselle and her witch friends beside her, they’re looking at me- glaring rather, it’s the right term.
Ha! Now you’re looking?
I rolled my eyes at them, let’s not mind them.
“Are you tired?”
Geronimo stood beside me.
“Not really.” I am actually tired.
I just can’t and shouldn’t say it as he’s just going to tease me more. I feel like we’ve become besties since he taught me history and such.
It’s a nice thing for me though, at least I have someone who’s not bullying me. He’s pretty considerate too but he likes to tease those who are close with him.
“I’m glad you’re all here,” I flinched when I heard Alpha’s voice.
I didn’t notice him!
I straightened my back and looked at him. He’s standing proudly on the bottom of the stairs, wearing unusual clothes. I think it’s the clothes here.
Now that he’s not close to me, I can finally see why Giselle clings to him, he’s handsome, like a supermodel. Those like Tall, Dark, and Handsome.
“I will not make this long,” -Is what he said but we’re standing here for almost thirty minutes because someone appears and asks for his audience.
Goodness, he should’ve finished his speech first! My feet are getting numb already.
Thankfully, he came back not too long after and continued his short speech.
“I’ll walk you to your room.” Geronimo walked beside me.
“You don’t have to.”
“You’re welcome.” Tsk. He doesn’t listen at all.
I’ve been wondering why he’s so nice to me. If he continues treating me this way I would think that he likes me.
“I don’t like you.”
“…”
“Wait what? How’d you know what I’m thinking?” Can he actually read minds?!
Is he a mind reader?!
“It’s written all over your face Ms.Araia!” He said, emphasizing my name.
Oh, it is?
“Well anyways, as I was saying I don’t like you, you just look like my younger sister.”
Oh that explains.
“Alright, do you mind if I ask you where your sister is?”
“She’s in the academy.”
I paused.
“There’s an academy here!?” I blurted.
Geronimo looks confused.
“Of course?”
I thought there’s no academy here…What am I thinking?
We continued walking until we reached a beautiful door.
I tap his shoulder, “I think you’re mistaken, it’s impossible that this is my room.”
I mean, look at where we are, the grand door with lots of shining stuff, expensive materials and all the rooms beside this are all grand, not to mention that we’re on the second floor.
It doesn’t make sense at all.
“I’m not though?”
What?
“This would be your room because you are Alpha’s personal maid.”
“But it’s so grand!” I exclaimed.
“So?”
What do you mean?
“Are you serious right now?”
Geronimo nodded, his eyes showing a sarcastic look. He opened the door and my eyes almost jumped off.
“This is my room, for real?” I can’t believe it!
“A-huh!”
You can’t be serious…
I roam my eyes around the place, this is much larger than our house!
“How could I use this, I’m just a maid!”
How could a maid like me use this luxury room?
“You’re not just ‘maid’ Araia, you are the Alpha’s personal maid, and this is what you should use, remember, you’re in a higher position than a regular maid.”
Oh my…Really…
“Alright, enjoy and you’ll start as soon as Alpha calls for you, bye!”
Geronimo walks out like a thunder while I am still blessing my eyes with these shiny things.
This is beyond incredible!
I didn’t expect to have this kind of room in my entire life! Can I really use this?
“Even the bed looks nice…” I touch it and my heart rejoices because it’s soft.
Goodness, I like this place!
I jump on the bed and smile like an idiot, I feel like I’m in a five star hotel with automatic objects inside.
Cool!
It took me a few hours to sleep because of excitement.
