After Axel found out from the servant that Sophie was missing, he gave an immediate order to find her. Axel himself roamed around, and called her names, thinking she was around and was taking a walk. But she was nowhere to be seen. As such, he asked the Warden. Some of the servants, but none of them have seen her.
Axel went back to their lair, hoping to see even a hint of what she was doing before she disappeared. But what he saw was the dress that Sophie was wearing this morning. It hit him.
Axel went out, hurrying. He rode his Limoo and went after his men who were on their way to arrest Rebecca. It was the only place Axel feel Sophie would be. She probably wanted to go there herself to confront Rebecca.
But why? Axel had managed to keep Sophie at bay. For the whole week, she allowed him to do most of the work. The criminals’ punishment. The burial for their baby. The announcement. Why would she suddenly act on her own, without telling him now?
Axel drove fast. After he had the feeling where Sophie might have gone, he started to feel something inside his chest. In the first place, suddenly disappearing without a word was already strange. And there was no way Sophie went to Rebecca to talk peacefully, right?
After all that had happened, Sophie still had not recovered. If she was triggered…
Axel’s heart pummeled. It wasn’t because she overheard his conversation with Edward, was it?
Convinced by his theory, Axel headed straight to Rebecca’s residence. On the way, he contacted Edward, and Hugo, to tell them what might have been happening. It still wasn’t proven, but he gave them a heads up, just in case.
Axel could only thought he wasn’t right. He went on full speed to catch on Hugo, but as soon as they reached the place, the window from the second floor broke. The glass pieces fell on the ground. While Rebecca, on her wolf form, jumped on it.
Axel’s eyes widened. “Rebecca transmuted…”
“Alpha…” Hugo called his name in disbelief.
Axel’s eyes shifted, from Rebecca’s direction, to Hugo. Just as he thought Hugo was going to come after Rebecca, he stood in awe looking up, where Rebecca came from. Axel followed it with his eyes. Only to see another wolf jumping out of it.

Rebecca transformed to her wolf form. That way, Sophie was forced to let go of her. Rebecca growled and lean in. By transmuting, she was now bigger than Sophie, who was still blanky looking at her. But just as she was about to attack her, she smelled Axel’s men near the house.
Shaken by fear that they might be here to arrest her, just like what Sophie said, she turned around and jumped to the window, breaking its glass into pieces.
Rebecca landed on the ground with little bruises, but as she spotted their cars, she ran faster and didn’t look back. Sophie, however, who had no plans on letting her escape, transmuted to go after Rebecca.
Rebecca wasn’t the only one who didn’t want her to be imprisoned. Sophie, too. She didn’t like Axel’s and Edward’s agreement, hence she went here without letting anyone know, to pass the her own judgement. She could control it at first. But the more she looked at Rebecca, the more she Sophie was reminded by her crimes.
What was worse was Rebecca did not even feel sorry. Nor did she look remorseful. She was heartless. And it justified Sophie’s plans for her.
Rebecca ran as fast as she could. She headed towards the forest, where she thought she could hide. If what Sophie said was right, by now, Axel had already probably planned to let the public know about her crimes. And if Edward indeed had an agreement with Axel, she will no longer be protected.
The forest was the only place she could go to. Though, it will eventually be a problem. Rebecca’s priority was to get away and hide.
Damn you, Edward.
This wasn’t what she planned. This wasn’t what was supposed to happen. Rousel shouldn’t have been able to confess to Edward. And even if Flora did ran her mouth, there was no way Edward would have believed her. There were no witness, nor even trace that she was indeed involved.
What went wrong? She had deduced this. Who told Edward? And what pushed Edward to make an agreement with Axel?
Rebecca’s current situation frustrated her. Now, she wasn’t only found. She’d also be killed. If what she heard was right, Rousel committed suicide. In exchange, Axel killed his first born instead. She wouldn’t be excepted. One way or another, if she get caught here, it’ll be over.
Rebecca was too occupied by her thoughts and emotions, that she didn’t realized she was already being followed by Sophie. And since the pregnancy had extremely affected Rebecca’s capabilities, her speed were nothing like the same. Thus, Sophie easily caught on.
One jump after Sophie caught up, she managed to block Rebecca’s way. Rebecca tried to switched direction, but Sophie had already sealed it. She was fast to react. Her reflexed were sharp, too, that she could predict where Rebecca would run to.
“You choose, Rebecca. Wold you rather be imprisoned, or get killed here, right now?” Sophie gave her an option, keeping her at bay. “They could be here anytime now, so you have to choose.”
“Why are you doing this?” Rebecca growled. “What happened was meant to happen, Sophie. I did it to regain my place--”
“What place are you taking about?” Sophie slowly took a step. “Being the Western Border’s Luna? You were the one who left Axel!”
“Because I wanted to prove that I wasn’t the problem! They shamed me, because I wasn’t able to give Axel a child!”
“It wasn’t my problem, Rebecca. You left, I came. For how long are you going to blame me for something you did yourself?”
“Until you die…” Rebecca responded in an angrily way. “Until Axel become mine again.”
“You really are crazy…” Sophie uttered, before flashing her sharp canines.
She rushed in, planning to bit Rebecca. But Sophie wasn’t as used to fighting as she was in human form. Rebecca had managed to avoid a direct attack. She stepped back, and put a distance. They threw each other death glare. Sophie tried to attack Rebecca again, but she easily fend it off.
It was how Rebecca got the idea that Sophie wasn’t used to fighting in wolf form. Thus, she prepared for an attack on her body. She jumped and forged in, pushing her to the ground. She pressed her claw on her upper body.
“So, this is your weakness, Sophie…” Rebecca taunted Sophie, pressing her claw harder. “Who’s going to kill who?”
Sophie tried to retaliate. She resisted, using her strength. But Rebecce was also strong. Unlike in her human form, where she was vulnerable. Rebecca seemed to have been able to fight freely in this form. She had the upperhand.
“After what you did to my child, I’m not going to let you live,” said Sophie, while she was resisting.
“Perhaps, I should kill you right now so you can meet her wherever your souls will go to.” Rebecca retorted, before she felt the presence of the Alpha, along with his beta. “But that can wait.”
Rebecca just found a way to escape. Rebecca did not let Sophie go, and poured all her strength to her limbs and hands. She forcefully confronted her strength by overwhelming it with hers. She did not move on her position, and watched her struggle. She waited for the Alpha, so she could make a deal.
“They’re coming, Rebecca…” said, Sophie. “Do you really want to get caught?”
“I won’t caught, Sophie. As long as I have you under me.” Rebecca looked down on her. “What do you think Axel will choose? My body, or yours?”
“You’re keeping me hostage?”
“I believe I don’t have to spell that out, Omega…”
Sophie was not able to do anything. The Alpha came, together with Hugo and the other beta. And Rebecca did not let her go. Not even when Axel threatened her. Rebecca insisted that she’ll only let Sophie go if Axel will promise that he’d let him escape, but Axel refused to.
Until Edward came.
