We sat down, “So what do you do?” I asked.
“I am a Lawyer. I live in Amsterdam. I couldn’t come because of my case. It took a while but here I am.” She told me.
I hummed and asked again, She can help me, Kathrine… for how long Tyler has been talking about me?” I asked.
“Hmm?” She held her chin, lost in thoughts.
“After Lydia’s betrayal he was heartbroken.. After her death.. Hmm. Two years… No, for three years.” She replied.
Left flabbergasted, my lips formed a thin line, how many secrets am I going to know in one day.
And damn you Tyler, come home, I will see you. How can you hide the fact you love me for all this time!?
“He was so scared to start a conversation with you so I told him to do this. Or else tell me when did you see him being angry when no one is at fault?” She asked.
“Hmm.. never… except me.” I told her.
“See!”
“Ah.. Kathrine. You sit here, I will freshen up and cook. Do you want something?” I asked, getting up, smiling at her.
“You are cooking for Brother aren’t you? He boasted about everything, saying you sent him Lunch made by you. Aw! You are so sweet.” She said in blithe.
I chuckled, “It’s nothing. I just like doing this for him.” I replied and went to freshen up.
I sent Tyler’s lunch and was eating with Kathrine.
“Mhm, you are a great cook, Candice.” She complimented.
“Thanks.”
“By the way, I didn’t tell Brother about my arrival, I wanted to give him a surprise.” She said.
“I see… okay.” I hummed.
“By the way, where is your Mother?” I asked.
“Oh, it seems like he told nothing about himself to you. Our Mother died because of his enemies, the guilt ate him up so he sent me away as well to keep me safe.” She replied.
“Sorry to hear it.” I said sadly.
“Oh no, it’s okay. I am glad he has you in his life. Please take care of him, he has been alone for too long.” She said sadly, stopping but then grinned again.
“I will, don’t worry.” I replied, returning the smile.
We then talked for a while, I got to know her, she is adorable, I loved talking to her.
In the evening Tyler came, he was quite astonished to see her.
“Kathrine? You?”
“That’s not a very sweet greeting but I will forgive you for it.” She smiled, pinching his cheek.
“Hey! Ow.” Tyler frowned, pulling her hand away.
Kathrine grinned as Tyler smiled too, patting her head and kissing her forehead.
“Welcome home.” He smiled, giving her a side hug.
“Thanks. You are such a meanie.” She mumbled, pouting.
“What did I do this time?” He asked.
“You didn’t tell Candice-”
Tyler cut her off, “Hey Candice.”
“Hey! I was saying something.” She argued.
“Ah! I am tired.” He said stretching his hands and coming to the room, avoiding the talk.
I smirked at his reaction and motioned to Kathrine I will be back and went after Tyler.
I waited as he came from the bathroom, passing me a soft and innocent smile as if he is the most innocent person I have seen.
I smirked at his reaction knowing why he was acting like this.
“You wanted to talk, Mrs Moretti?” He asked, sitting on the couch and looking at me with that persuasive yet timid look.
I didn’t know he possessed such looks as well.
“Mrs Moretti?” I teased, walking closer.
“You wanted to talk.” He smiled.
“Stop looking at me like this.” I laughed a little looking away but he continued to look at me like this.
I walked closer and grabbed the hem of his dress, “I came to know about something peculiar about you.” I said, leaning down.
“Yes, what is it?” He asked innocently, still smiling.
“Stop it!” I said, unable to control the allure when he is being cute.
“Mrs-” I cut him off by kissing him.
Pressing my palm over his chest with another on his neck, loving the quiver emitting from me in the form of the incomprehensible desire which never fails to invoke the melody of love in our hearts, connecting my heartbeats with her eternally.
I pulled away, with bare distance between us, staring intensely at each other.
“Tyler…” I called him temptingly, moving my hand over his chest, receiving great satisfaction, not removing my eyes from his.
Wanting to know which vast ocean of fondness resides there, Honey, how much you love me?” I asked with a smirk.
“I don’t think you should question my love. You are my world.” He smirked back, cupping my cheek.
“Then, let me change my question… Since when do you love me?” I asked, his smirk wiped off, not knowing what to say.
I wonder why he is frightened to tell me?
“Ever since you are exasperated.” He replied.
“That’s a vague answer.” I whined, pulling away.
“Come on, tell me?” I demanded.
He stood, “Can we eat something first?” He asked, leaving.
I frowned but he left me alone with an unclear answer but confirming that he loves me before I could comprehend.
...The endearment emanating from you is traveling to my core...
