We ran upstairs and everyone in the room was left in shock.
From after what happened and after what mom said.. I was now certain that she's hiding something from us.
Dinner that night was cancelled and I went straight to my room with Zara.
"What did your mom mean about that?" She asked me and I sat on my window seat.
"I don't know!!... I can save Chels and that's what's on my mind right now" I stated.
"But your mom already forbade you from going" Zara exclaimed.
"Yeah .... Then Chelsea is coming soon" I said.
I'd be leaving the house very early tomorrow when no one would notice .
Then I'll go and fight for my sister. It's a place of four complex riddles .. I will be able to do it.
I guess so.
Blue's POV
I went up to my room and Zara sat on the bed.
I paced up and down the room. What will I do now?
"You know pacing up and down restlessly is not gonna change anything?" She said and I groaned.
"Thanks Zara, that's really helping," I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.
"Kaycee would be dead confused right now.. why don't you go say hello to him" Zara suggested.
I'm the closest to my brother and I still didn't tell him the biggest secret of my life.
I felt so bad for it that I just got totally numb when Zara suggested it.
"Well .. what are you waiting for?" Zara asked .
"No ...I can't face him" I replied slowly and sat on my window seat with my face cupped in my palm.
"Oh Blue.. I'm sure he'll get over it, believe me .. immediately you convince him that Chelsea can come back... He'll even help you to leave the house" she said and I shot her a stare.
"But what if I'm not able to bring her back?" I asked helplessly.
"What!!. Don't even say that.. Blue would never say that.. and she doesn't give up before trying something first" Zara snapped with a pretence of anger.
"Well you didn't have to shout by saying that" I cooed .
"But I guess trying won't cause any harm," I added with a cheerful spirit.
"That's the spirit" she said and we both laughed.
"Now go on!!... Go tell your handsome and extremely cute brother the truth"she rasped and I pinched her.
"Don't say that it'll look like you have a crush on him" I teased.
"I never said I don't have a crush on him" She stated.
"So you have a crush on my brother?" I asked excitedly.
"Of course not... Don't jump to conclusions" she pouted.
"Ok" I replied and stood up .
"Just tell me.. I'll find a way to get you guys together" I screamed like a child.
"Blue, don't be silly... And go tell your bro the truth" She said and pushed me gently out of the room.
"Just tell me do you like him?" I asked and she shut the door in my face.
"Zara!!!" I called from outside.
"You don't slam the door in the owner 's face!!" I shouted.
"Blue Go!!" She shouted from inside.
Huh!.. Go is the only thing she said.
But does Zara really like Kayc?
Well I guess I'll find out later.. Now I have to get something done.
I traced my steps to the Kaycee room..
I stood at the door and hesitated to knock but I had to..
I knocked and I didn't get an answer.
I got in and the sweet smell of Chelsea's perf welcomed me.
I heard loud noises just like hitting something or bashing something.. it seems he's in his work out area... He's the only guy so he has the second Biggest room In the house after Chelsea.
Why would someone work out in the evening??
Different thoughts flashed through my mind and Immediately he walked in.
He saw me and threw his face away and used the white towel in his hand to clean the sweat.
"Kaycee," I called slowly.
But he didn't answer.
"I can explain just hear me out!!" I said and he walked past me to his bed.
I walked up to him and tried to touch his shoulder but he shot me a terrific stare and I withdrew my hand immediately.
"Why are you treating me like this Kaycee .. just give me a chance to explain" I said and he stood up standing facing me and looking me in the eye.
"Can you bring back Chelsea?" He asked coldly .
The only question he popped up was about Chelsea. This is gonna be fun...
"I'm not sure yet but I think I can.. well it's a place called..
"I don't fucking care what the place is called.. I just asked you a yes and no question" he retorted.
Oh God... I have turned my only solace now to a fire furnace.
"Yes.. I can bring her back" I said and lowered my gaze.
"I know why you're here... You need help to leave the house right?" He asked.
"Yes but not only that, I also came to say......"
"How do you learn in school?... I already told you it's a yes and a no question" he barked and I shrieked.
Oh my!!!
"Yes," I replied.
"I'll come over to your room at 4 am in the morning.. make sure you're ready" he said and turned his back to me
