Blue's POV
I can bring back Chelsea.... I can do it.
I just pray that I'll be able to restore my lost home back.
I sat in class daydreaming about the whole Chels return stuff.
The school bell rang for the end of lectures..
I stood up with Zara next to me and she gave me a surprise stare.
"Why are you smiling?" She asked as we walked side by side out of the classroom.
"Oh Zara..I have good news" I said with beaming smiles.
This is the best news ever...
"Really!!.. What is it?" She asked eagerly with beady eyes.
"I can bring back Chelsea !!" I shouted and danced along the hallway..
I expected her to join me but she just stood there watching me like a movie.
"Didn't you hear me... I can bring back Chels .. why aren't you celebrating with me?" I asked and she breathed out caressing my hair.
"Blue.. I know it's hard but please put it together.. Chelsea's not coming back" she said soothingly and I brushed her hands off me.
"What do you know ?.. I can bring back my sister instead of you to congratulate me and pass positive energy but you're spreading the opposite '' I queried.
"If you can't rejoice with someone then stop trying to show that you care" I added in anger.
"Blue... Pls don't be angry with me .. I truly apologise .. I'm sorry" she said apologetically .
I don't understand anymore... It seems I look and sound crazy saying this out loud.
"It's okay," I said casually.
"If you really think you can bring back Chelsea then you're not alone... I just want you to be safe cos from everything you've told me about this magic stuff from Ivy's mess down to Chelsea's demise, it sounds really dangerous" she said sounding really worried.
She's kinda right... It's very dangerous but I've gotta risk it all for my sister.
"Thanks Zara... You're the Best friend anyone could ever ask for and I'm not angry with whatever you said before... It's just that I have faith and hope that I can bring back Chelsea and I don't want anyone crushing that hope for me" I said forlornly .
"Hey!!.. it's fine .. if no one stands by you then I will and I will always be there with you "
"And if actually you can bring back Chelsea" she said and paused.
"I'll be there with you,"she added.
A big smile appeared on my face and I hugged her tightly.
Awwn... Zara's the best...
We walked straight to the car and met Kaycee there like always..
We entered and the drive home was a little silent.
I got home and awaited my parents' return..
I went straight to my room with Zara .
Zara's parents travelled and as the only child ... She was sent to live with us as long as she wanted and when they were back she'd return.
We freshened up and sat together to do our homework.
Alondra's POV
I walked straight back to my apartment since my apartment is not too far from the school.
I met Pearl at home and didn't even bother to speak to her .. I just walked past her but she stopped me with a cunning laugh.
"I just pray that laugh turns Into a cry someday" I remarked feeling better for what I said to Blue.
"Oh Ally!.. Why have you been so hard on yourself?" She asked and made pitiful noises with her tongue.
"And besides you didn't really lie to her.. Chelsea is not dead at least she knows and again she's lucky I told her on time if not she'd have waited for years before she even found out that her sister was still alive" She added rudely.
"We both know that Altohan is not a place people go and return.. it's a restricted place in the cove" I said rashly.
"You know.. there's something you need to know about Blue, she never rests until she gets what she wants.. so chillax cos I know she'll win and Mona and Melissa will be going with her so all is well" She said like it was so easy.
"I hope all this catches up with you one day" I cursed .
"You're just a guardian that's been banned from her land . All guardians are powerless .. you only teach spells to the descendants of warriors and Royalty " She said and at that moment I felt like eating her up.
"So what are you implying?" I asked .
"Well your curses don't walk on me ... Have you heard of the great walls of China?.. I guess you've heard it.. it's just like throwing sand at the great walls praying for it to break and we both know that's impossible .. and so are your lame curses" she said brusquely.
And for the first time in all this evil facade , I can see that this Pearl is in for revenge.
"I hate you!!" I barked and ran upstairs.
"I love you too!" She shouted with a spark in her voice.
Pearl's POV
This is all your fault Mrs Givens.. you'll pay for every single thing you took away from me.
You took my childhood away, you took my mom away and my dad too.
You took everything and I won't spare you and any of your children.
You've turned me into a monster and I won't waste anymore time to take revenge on you and also turn you into a monster in the sight of your children.
Blue's POV
Everyone was seated on the table for dinner and I guess this is the best time for me to tell them.
"There's something I'd like to say" I requested and everyones' attention was drawn to me.
They dropped their cutleries and stared at me.
"Any problem?" Kaycee asked
"Well it's about me , Chelsea and let me just say it's about Chelsea" I said and everyone's eyes beamed.
"She's alive!!" I said and mom coughed.
Why's everyone behaving like this??
"Chelsea is alive" I said and expected a smile but nothing.
"If this is a joke pls stop it cos it's not funny" Dad said with authority.
What!!!
"I'm telling the truth, Ally told me she's in a place called Altohan" I said and mom stood up immediately.
"Your sister is gone .. end of chapter" mom said coldly.
" But mom!!.....
"I said end of chapter" she said coldly and cut me off.
"I can explain, just give me a chance to... " I said pleadingly.
"What do you mean by *Chelsea is alive*?" Kaycee asked.
"It's a very long story but long story short I found out that I'm a mermaid... Half human half mermaid and I met this guardian Alondra who taught me everything I need to know about spells and I've even transformed not once but numerous times and also went to Limbo and the cove" I said sharply.
"Blue!!" Mom shouted with bulgy eyes..
"One more word from you and you're grounded" mom said and I also entered psycho mode.
"What's wrong with you... I'm telling the truth.. I can bring back your daughter that is assumed dead and you're playing with this great opportunity" I shouted but not without a heavy slap landing on my face.
I gasped immediately and touched my face... She slapped me!!
"You're grounded.. now go upstairs" she commanded.
"Wait!!... It seems she watched so many movies it's affecting her" Kaycee said and I sniffed.
If only they knew that time is running out.
I don't care what they say but all I know is that Chelsea will be home before Monday.
I promised myself that and I will get it done.
"She doesn't know what she's saying" mom barked.
"Actually maybe I do..." I said and threw some water on the necklace and the purple beam filled the whole room.
"Blue!!' I heard Zara shout.
The light came down and everyone had their eyes closed.
They opened their eyes slowly and with the look on their faces they could faint anytime soon .
They all ran back and took cover.
Only Zara stood close to me.
"Is...is that a tail?" Kaycee asked agape.
"Is that the right question... Is that my daughter??" Dad asked.
"Yes Dad .. it's Blue, your very own daughter" I replied and he gawped.
"I must be seeing things!" Dad muttered and cleaned his eyes many times.
I took a tablecloth and cleaned my necklace dry.. immediately I transformed back.
"Everyone, it's still me!" I assured them.
No one moved... It was just like a startled look super glued to their faces ... Except mom.
With the look on her face.. she understood everything but looked very angry.
"If it's true.. then I give you a go ahead" Dad said and my eyes beamed.
"What!!" Mom exclaimed.
"You can't be serious," she said.
"I have lost two children... And I don't want to lose another" Mom said, almost breaking down into tears.
Two children??
"Two children??" Kaycee asked agape.
