CHAPTER 104
MONTANA'S POV
I watched Luke furiously. Fuckkkkk!!! I could not do anything, and that just annoys me so much. I do not feel relaxed one bit.
"What are you going to do?", I asked him, "what do you even want from me? I have nothing to offer you."
"Oh Montana, you have many things I want and there are plenty of things you can offer to me," Luke said in a sinister tone.
"Like what? You don't want me. I am sure of that, you have Lola, your perfect mate, so what is it?"
Luke made a face and nodded, "That is true, I do not want you, but I want your powers which I need, so here is what will happen."
"What are you thinking of doing, Luke, let me go before it is too late," I threatened.
"Shhhh", he put his hands to his lips, signaling that he wanted me to shut up, "You are in no place to make threats, and you look stupid doing that, knowing fully well that I am in control of you now."
"You are in control of nothing", I barked out at him, "Nothing."
"For now. Just you wait, and I will be in control of you and your powers. Now that is what you can give me, a new way to redeem myself, a new way to take my rightful place as the King and rule the world, not only werewolves," he said as I watched him enjoy the thoughts.
He just kept quiet at some point, I felt like he was playing how it would be and go in his head. Enjoying the idea.
I kept watching him, observing.
"You should rest, I will need you in full energy when the time comes", and he said that he left the cell, the witch following behind him.
I grunted and pulled at the chains angrily, still no way for me to escape from them. I could not even reach Lincoln.
I needed to find a way to leave. Whatever Luke is planning, I do not want to know or even see the beginning of it.
Funny thing now about the chain was I had no pin. Could not pick the lock and as smart as I was at this moment, I wanted to feel dumb and give it a try.
But of course, I was not dumb to know that even if I had a pin, I would not be able to break myself out of this black stuff around my wrist because it has been locked by a witch's magic.
Fantastic. Just great!
They did not even let me see my kids or get comfortable here before taking me. What did I do to deserve this?
Still me, despite all those thoughts of no plan to escape, I kept trying throughout the whole night. Pulling the chains from the wall itself, hoping to pull it out totally.
In the end I was too tired and weak. I ended up falling asleep on the cold floor.
"Wake up", I felt someone kick me the next morning.
I squinted my eyes and rushed up. It was the witch, "What do you want?", I asked her, getting on alert, "Are you here to release me?"
She laughed and dragged me up, "No, but I am here to take you to somewhere more comfortable."
She removed the chains but the black stuff was still on my wrist like a cuff, "If you try anything, I will snap your neck in seconds. You should know, fully well, that it is not an empty threat."
I know, this cuff will not let me do anything anyway, "Where are you taking me?", I asked her as she started to drag me out by my arm.
As she did not answer me, I pulled my arm away, "I said, where are you taking me too?"
"Do not make this hard for yourself. Choose another time to be stubborn, but right now, I do not have time for this", The witch glared at me. It was like she hates me or something.
I don't even know why she had that kind of look in her eyes for me.
She held my arm again this time and said some few words that made me scream in pain, "arghhhh please stop," I cried out.
After a few seconds she stopped, "Now if you try to be stubborn again, the next one will definitely make your insides bleed. Move!"
The witch ordered and pushed me. Pulling me and taking me with her.
I was unfamiliar with this place. It certainly was not Luke's pack for starters and I definitely did not know where I was.
Hastily, we reached the stairs and I had no choice but to go with her. We got to a door, she opened it and pushed me inside, "Your new room, get comfy because you won't be leaving here any time soon."
Before she could leave, I called her, "Wait, how am I supposed to get comfortable with this?"I raised my hand, showing her my wrist.
The witch raised her fingers and she said some words. The black cuffs let loose and then, I didn't even know how, they got to my right hand and remained there like some kind of big bracelet.
I thought I had an opportunity and ran to attack her since the door was still open, but I hit something hard, which sent me to the floor.
I groaned and touched my nose, to see that I was feeling. I looked up to see the witch smiling wickedly at me, "What was that?", I asked her, getting up and going closer to the open door.
"A barrier spell, whether this door is opened or unlocked, you are not going anywhere," she answered, "The minute you stepped foot inside this room, that was when it got activated for you. The windows do not work either, you cannot escape, so stop trying."
I moved closer to the door, which was ajar, reaching out for it. There was indeed a barrier, "You all will regret this", I growled out and slammed on the warrior.
The witch just turned a deaf ear on me and left.
I still went to check the windows and it was the same thing. I looked around for anything at all that could help me, even if it was just a phone, anything.
While I was searching, I heard someone clear their throat behind me.
I quickly turned around, getting ready to defend myself, only for me to get shocked at who it was.
"Sean!"
