CHAPTER 109
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
I have spent thirty minutes in this room with Josh and still, he has not given me any reasonable information, but his face has been slightly difficult.
"What are you hiding, Joshi?", I asked while he shivered.
"Nothing A-alpha, p-please", he pleaded, writhing in the chair.
"I said, who do you work for, Josh?", I asked him again for at least the hundredth time.
"They will kill my family if I say anything," he cries out.
I chuckled, "And you think I will not kill your family if you don't?"
Alright, I think I have let him off the hook for so long and given him so many chances to redeem himself.
"Bring it!", I ordered to one of my warriors.
He nodded and, quickly, got the bottle, giving it to me.
I took it and showed it to Josh, "Do you know what this is?", I asked Josh as me and two of my warriors in there wore nose masks, to cover our noses and I put on some gloves.
Josh shook his head, fear visible in his eyes. It would not have gone this far if he would have just spoken up, instead of wasting my time.
"Well I will tell you. This is sulfuric and nitric acid mixed, this is what I will use to torture you," I told him, making it apparent as I opened the bottle.
And before he could scream out for me to stop, I sprinkled some on him.
The scream he screamed was like music to my ears, "Now, start talking, because there are more coming."
I kept sprinkling the acid on him, his skin that it made contact with already experiencing, intense and immediate burning.
It was turning all red, and I kept sprinkling it as if I were blessing him, "Tell me everything and do not leave anything out."
As the acid continued to penetrate his skin, blisters started forming, making him scream out in pain, "Trust me, I have all day," I said to him. This was not even stressful, I could get a chair, sit down and do this all day.
Could even clear all my other schedules.
Some parts of his skin were now coloring white and soon there was this odor in the room from Josh, I suppose that would be due to the chemical reaction occurring with his skin's proteins and lipids, "Seems like you are getting cooked up Josh. Tic Toc.
"Okay fine please I will talk, please," he said, and then I stopped even though he now looked irritating as fuck.
"Speak!", I ordered him, waiting patiently. A chair was already arranged for me and I sat down on it relaxed.
"Okay so there was a woman, like a messenger who only told us to do this without saying anything", He started, so I noted he was hired, plus he was not even from Luke's pack. Hmmmm!
"So she told us what to do, gave us a picture, time and then payment. Although we knew she was working for someone else, a man," Josh said.
I smiled, finally something good, "Tell me, who is this man?"
Finally, I would find the bastard who kidnapped my mate.
"Well...", Josh gulped and winced, "I don't know."
My ears should definitely be playing with me because I am not sure, I heard correctly, "What do you mean by, you do not know?, what don't you know?"
"We never saw him, he was anonymous, we only knew he was a man, we know nothing about him, I know nothing about him, I promise this is everything I know," Josh cried out.
I took a minute to grab everything he had said and then looked up at him, getting on my feet and going close to him, "So you waste my time and after everything, this is it."
Did not even wait for him to say a word as I opened the bottle and put it close to his nose, making him inhale it. He started coughing and was unable to breathe properly, "Do you think I am joking here?", I asked him, using my hands to tell my warriors to hold his head and open his mouth.
"You would have died a less painful death, if you spoke sooner and faster, especially for someone who has nothing too important to say, but at least we know a man is the head," I told him calmly.
Then I poured the acid into his throat, making sure he swallowed and it passed through. When I was done, I ordered for them to let him go and I just stood watching Josh.
He could not even scream, his mouth, throat, and esophagus should be destroyed by now totally.
"Now from your mouth, throat, and esophagus being destroyed, the acid would move through your digestive system, and they would continue to burn and corrode delicate tissues lining the stomach and intestines," I said to Josh, walking him through his slow death.
It was like he was reaching out for help but too weak.
"Next the acid would be absorbed into your bloodstream, leading to something we call, systemic toxicity. I suppose I am right?", I turned to one of my warriors for confirmation, knowing too well that I knew I was right.
"Your organs will slowly start to fail, each and every single one", I whispered this part, but loud enough for him to hear.
I made a face of pity, but what got me more upset was that he acted like he was hiding some kind of big information that will give me a lead.
He did not even know their names, he did not even know what the man who was behind all these looked like…. absolutely nothing, yet he was stressing me like this, all for nothing.
The acid bottle was taken away with the gloves and mask.
Josh's facial features were contorted in the grimace of pain as he finally embraced death. His skin was now pale, and I think blueish.
My work here was done. I stretched and cracked my neck, leaving the room and giving the doors, "Hang him outside, let everyone see and remember!"
