"[Your reward was not dying.]" Mira let system’s words replay in her head.
She gained no system points after all that stress and she lost a LOT of system points to achieve this task, it hurt a bunch. But at least, they were all able to get some work done. The sun was setting and everyone was packing every single thing.
The farmland looked good. Mira was proud of their hard work. Along the lines, she would need them to build wooden barns for the animals but that would be something for another day, right now, they all needed rest and for the mean time, the animals were tied loosely to chunks of wood dug into the ground around the farm area but far from the farm itself. The last thing Mira needed was animals destroying their hard work but she wanted them to have a sense of free will to scavenge the area for food. It occurred to Mira after they were done that she did not purchase food for them till the plants grew large enough and these were a lot of animals.
Mira took a deep breath. She clapped her hands and raised her voice so all the beast people could hear her. "Great job everyone!! Please have some rest and as reward for your hardwork, I will be holding a meat feast soon to mark our first day of stopping hunger!"
The beast people looked tired. None of them reacted the way Mira thought they would. She understood why but it was still not easy getting used to it.
When they taste my meat, they will show more enthusiasm, Mira confirmed in her head proudly.
She needed to bathe herself in warm water after this, she was hurting all over.
"You did so good today, wife. I am so proud of you." Resounded from behind Mira. She did not turn to look at the speaker, her eyes just peered over the field. She felt proud.
"Thank you, husband." Mira stated. "You did pretty good yourself after learning."
Now, Ming Tao was directly behind her and he fastened his hands around her waist then pulled her to him. Mira’s breath hitched at that. She could feel him, all of him and he was not even erect yet. Mira swallowed, she tried not to think about the thing that laid between his legs.
"I couldn’t have done anything without you." Ming Tao murmured. He lowered his face to her neck and placed a gentle kiss on her bare skin. Goosebumps popped all over Mira’s body at his touch. His lips sent waves of current flowing through her entire body.
"Well, you do need me." She worded, an attempt to dive her mind further away. She was not a virgin, yet a pool was forming between her legs in reaction to his hold on her waist and his sucking on her neck. Ming Tao used a lazy finger to trace a circle at her sides and just that sent tingles down her spine. Mira shot her head up, not daring to move from this position. Right above her face was the other timer.

At least she had time to recover from this strenuous farming activity before bedding him but now, tying Ming Tao on his bed was one of her best bets yet. The man knew how to touch and play with her skin yet chickened out when it was time to pound so she would do the favour for him and grind.
"I do." Ming Tao breath. His voice was low and husky, Mira forgot they were having a conversation. "Right from the beginning, I always have." He added. Mira swallowed, what she remembered was him hating her entire existence so forgive her for not believing his bullshit. Ming Tao’s mouth sunk into the end of Mira’s neck and he pressed his nose into her skin as he nibbled. He took a deep inhale. Her scent drove him insane, he could not get enough of it. "Please, if you can, meet me by the dying lake at midnight. I want to see you there, alone." Ming Tao stated.
Mira’s head was way too involved in what his mouth was doing to her to properly assimilate what he just said. "Huh?" She exhaled.
"Meet me at the dying lake at midnight." Ming Tao said again. "Take your time if you have to, but please, show up."
Mira tilted her neck to the side as he sucked harder on it. It seemed like he wanted to leave a mark. "It’s cheating asking me that when your mouth is on my skin. You know how hard it would be for me to say no." Mira breath.
Ming Tao licked the portion of her skin he bit and took his head off. He bucked Mira’s hips up and pulled her behind closer against his body. "What’s the point of being mated if I cannot seduce you into doing what I want?"
As unfair as that was, he made a solid point.
"So, will you come?" His voice was a perfect icing on top, breathy and soft.
"I’ll be there." Mira added.
"Thank you." Ming Tao uttered. "I will be expecting you." He let go of her hips. Even though his hands were covered in dirt, Mira missed having them on her hips.
"Of course." She said. "Now, please, help me monitor the cheetahs back to the clan safely. I will go a last check on this place before going back to join you all."
"I do not want to leave you alone."
"I’ll be fine. Trust me." Mira assured. Ming Tao let out a sigh.
"I will come looking for you if you take too much time."
"I’d love that." Mira giggled. This did not make Ming Tao feel any more at ease but he let his distress out with a sigh. Now he left her. Mira waited till everyone was gone.
"System how much is it to purchase a special grade skill?" Mira asked when she was alone.

"Fast growth." Mira stated. She wanted to boost the plants with faster growth.
