"Direk, natunog cellphone mo."
I looked at the assistant director, he gave me my phone. I just nodded and took my phone from him. Napangiti na lang ako nang makita ang pangalan ng mahal ko sa caller ID... My Angel.
I instantly amswered the call.
"Daddy!"
My smile grew wider when I heard my little angel's voice. Mukhang kinuha na naman niya ang phone ng Mommy niya.
"Hello, my little angel," I said while still smiling like an idiot.
Zureen Angela Cavalcante, my four-year-old angel, never failed to make me smile like her mother... I can't imagine my life without them, everything about them is heavenly, they are my home... my heaven.
"Daddy, I want to make sumbong to you," she murmured over the phone. I chuckled, damn, my little angel is so cute.
"Hmm, go ahead," I said and tapped my fingers on the table.
"Someone fliwted with Mommy kanina sa mall, he's tall just like you and he's hansome too."
Fliwted... flirted?
Agad na napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Zureen.
"Who the fu-- I mean, who dared to flirt with your Mom, Zureen?" Halos magdikit na ang dalawang kilay ko sa inis.
"I don't know his name, Daddy. You have to come home and confwont Mommy... and please buy a make up kit for me, I love you po!"
Hindi na ako nakasagot dahil ibinaba rin nito ang tawag. I just shook my head and smiled, Zureen is really the mini version of her mother.
"Leo, ikaw na'ng bahala. I have to go home," I said to my assistant director, Leo. Hindi ko na siya hinintay sumagot at agad na umalis ng set.
I bought a make up kit for Zureen first before going home, I also bought fruits for Angel.
"Daddy!"
I smiled when Zureen welcomed me with her tight hug. I carried her and pinched her soft cheek. My little angel giggled and clung her short arms around my nape, she planted wet kisses all over my face, I just chuckled and put her down... natanggal agad ang pagod ko.
"Here's your make up kit, little angel. Itago mo sa Mommy mo 'yan. Papagalitan tayo," bulong ko saka kinurot ang maliit na ilong niya.
"Thank you, Daddy! You're the best, I love you!" She showed me her cute and bright smile.
"I love you more, little angel." I kissed her forehead. "Go to your room and try those on. I'll just talk to your Mom."
Tumango na lang si Zureen at agad na tumakbo papuntang silid niya. Nagtungo naman ako sa kuwarto namin ni Angel... I need to talk to her.
Naabutan ko si Angel na nakaupo sa kama habang may kausap sa phone. She didn't even notice I came in. I leaned on the door and crossed my arms over my chest.
Hindi na nag-artista ulit si Angel, pero reporter na ulit siya. She got a lot of film offers but she turned them all down and became a reporter instead. Hindi ko naman siya tinutulan, susuportahan ko siya kung saan siya masaya.
"My goodness, Jaze. Bakit bumigay ka kaagad kay Damien?! Nanggigigil ako ha."
I smiled while staring at her. Ang ganda niya pa rin kahit galit.
She looked at my direction, her eyes widened and her sexy lips parted. She said bye to Jaze and ended the call. Agad siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin.
"Bakit ang aga mo umuwi?" she asked and smiled at me.
Seryoso akong tumitig sa kanya, nawala ang ngiti niya dahil do'n.
I locked the door behind me and smirked at her. She blinked and gulped when I started removing my leather jacket.
Damn, her effect on me didn't change. I'm still crazy over her. Sa bawat taong nagdaan, mas lalo ko pa siyang minamahal.
"We'll just talk about something, my wife. Who was the guy who flirted with you at the mall, hmm?" I asked and threw my leather jacket on the floor.
Angel just sexily smirked at me and clung her arms around my neck.
"Hmm, someone flirted with me at the mall, my dear husband... What are you gonna do now? Hmm?" she asked and traced my chest with the tip of her index finger, teasing me.
"Ah, my wife wants to be punished, huh."
My wife giggled when I suddenly carried her to the bed. My wife is an angel but also a temptress at the same time... the duality of my wife is the best.
Damn, I love this woman so much. Angelica Louise Cavalcante captured my heart right from the start... and I'm willing to be her captive forever.
