His eyes gleamed red as he was ready to lash out at Uriel's neck. He gritted his teeth as his canines were exposed. He tightened his grip on Uriel and growled in so much anger.
“Alpha Jaxon, are you okay? I will inform Veronica right now. She will be worried if we don't tell her.” Uriel seemed sincere but he couldn't trust him anymore. It seemed Uriel was the man that he couldn't trust in his eyes.
“Argh!” Jaxon yelled in pain, as his body collapsed on the ground. His vision was spinning and blurry. He was catching his breath when Veronica came inside. She rushed towards him and asked the guards to help her.
As Jaxon was about to close his eyes, memories flashed in his mind. He groaned when he remembered when he was talking with Ava and Alpha James. They were talking about their plans, and how to work them very well.
Flashback,
‘You can go to Veron's pack. We will do everything to make you act so that you will lose your memories.’ Ava said while she was looking at him. James coughed when he felt jealous that Ava had been giving Jaxon attention.
‘Are you sure that you want me to lose only my memories? I don't want to be suspicious but I'm thinking that you might kill me on purpose.’ He was hesitant. He knew that Ava hated him for what he had done to Veronica. His lips pursed in a thin line, and he gave her a severe glance before Ava chuckled.
‘What makes you think that I will kill someone like you? My family has rules, we are not like you, Alpha Jaxon. We can't kill someone without valid reasons.’ Ava spoke.
‘You have a valid reason to kill me. It's because of Veronica.’
‘I will pledge that I will not kill you. I find out that there's a potion that I can use so you can forget everything. I know my sister, she will blame herself, and might be back in your pack once everything turns out well.’
James cleared his throat. He disliked the idea that Ava was trying to manipulate everything.
He wanted to make sure that Veronica was fine with it but how? He understood his mate's intention but it didn't give his mate the right to maneuver Veronica's life.
‘I don't think it's a good idea. Veronica might end up getting mad at you.’ James finally let out his opinions which made Ava laugh sarcastically.
‘I know my sister. We are searching for Morgan. She will understand why I need to do this. It's better if Veron thinks that Veronica loves him despite that Jaxon was trying to be with her. It will boost his ego, so he can lower his guard.’
Jaxon didn't say anything. He wanted to make sure that everything would be fine, especially about their plans. He went with Ava and James to check the potion that Ava had been saying to him. He wanted to make sure that it wasn't poisonous.
‘It will help you to forget your memories temporarily. If you are such a bad actor, then it's better if you do everything to make Veronica feel that you love her.’
He waited for Veronica outside Veron's pack. He thought that Veronica would be home early but it was so late when Veronica left. He was jealous that he told Veronica everything that he wanted to say.
‘Jaxon!’ Veronica cried while she was trying to pull him. He groaned and closed his eyes. He would lose his memories but he hoped that Ava's plan was perfect.

“Is he fine? Uriel told me that Jaxon seemed to have a headache.” Veronica asked the doctor. She was staring at Jaxon, who had been sleeping in the hospital bed.
The doctor sighed. He doesn't know what he might said to Veronica especially since he was surprised when Jaxon collapsed.
“Luna, is he trying to remember his memories? I think he's stressed, and sad that he can't remember everything.”
Veronica was speechless. She couldn't understand why Jaxon wanted to know everything. Was she the one who was about to blame?
“Uriel is telling me that Jaxon has been asking him about finding Morgan. It seems that he's pressuring himself to find him. Luna needs to avoid the stress and let his memories come back normally. If he is forced to remember, there's a possibility that his memories will not be back.”
Veronica gulped. She felt guilty that Jaxon had been trying to force himself to remember. She gave Jaxon a glimpse again before she said, “I don't know that he's trying to locate Morgan again. I will tell him what you said. Thank you.”
The pack doctor left the room making Veronica gasp in worry. She rushed to Jaxon and held his hand.
“Jaxon, what are you trying to do?” She whispered. She hoped that Jaxon would wake up soon because she was too scared to think that Jaxon might not be able to wake up anymore.

Jaxon groaned when he felt his headache even more. He tried to open his eyes but he seemed exhausted.
“Jaxon!” He heard Veronica's voice. When he opened his eyes it was Veronica's beautiful face who greeted him.
He looked around. He remembered when Ava mentioned that he still needed to continue to act and that he couldn't remember everything once he finally remembered everything.
“Where am I? What happened?” His tone was husky when he wrapped his hand around Veronica's waist and pulled her closer to him. Veronica shrieked when Jaxon let her sit on his bulge.
Her eyes widened in surprise when he felt his massive dick poking at her butt. She swallowed hard when the heat came into her body.
“Jaxon, what are you doing? We are in the hospital.” She was in a panic when Jaxon chuckled, then made her feel even more his dick.
“I'm not doing anything, Veronica. I'm asking you what happened.” Jaxon innocently uttered and pulled her hair to give him access to her neck. He licked her sensitive neck and sucked her skin which made Veronica tremble in lust.
“Answer me…” He added.
“What are you asking again?” Veronica gulped. She felt that she was tortured by him. Jaxon was playing with her which made her think that Jaxon had still forgotten his memories.
“I don't want to repeat my words. I miss you…” Hearing a husky tone made Veronica feel that her center was slowly getting wet. She whimpered when she felt Jaxon's tongue on her neck. She licked her lips and moaned so loudly when Jaxon's hands roamed on her breast.
“We are in the hospital…”
